With caching being a little quiet for us over the last few weeks due to life commitments I decided it was time to nab some after work. I finished a little earlier then anticipated and with a few hours up my sleeve I thought Id get cracking at the Running ManI never actually realised this area was bush land so that took me by surprise, I guess its always a pleasant experience to wander around somewhere new, and I really enjoyed walking the trails, it brought back some memories from my old caching days.Quick find here after a brief search. Thanks for bringing me here.____________________________________Something big is coming to the Sunny Coast on the 5th October 2025.Head to GCARTY0 to see all about the Sunshine Coast Beach Party event.#4462 - TFTC

We spent here in the Logan Shire 10 days - mainly to participate in the GCLOGAN events where we met known and new cachers. All good things are coming to an end, so also these days.We used today to clean up caches which we didn't like to leave behind or which we passed during our today's target caches.Tftc RoddyC

After a last minute change of plans yesterday, , headed out west today to try and do the whole Running Man geoart series. I had solved the majority of these before leaving NZ, but did need a nudge from the CO after arriving in Oz, to get me on the right track for the remaining few.A pleasantly warm winter day today with 33 degrees, , so my initial plans from weeks ago of walking a route to get as many as possible were scrapped and driving as close as possible was now the order of the day.I was starting to feel a bit stupid here, as the cache eluded me for quite a while and the dog barking endlessly over the fence didn't help either. Finally spotted it and was able to add my signature to the log and maintain my 100% find ratio today. TFTC

Out for a morning with Gunnie 69. He had done most of the solving on this series. Most were found quickly, and some had us stumped!Apologies for the generic logs, been a little slack in logging! TFTC RoddyC

It took a little longer to track this one down for NurseyJulie and I, to the point where I was asking myself if the cache title was befitting the hunter. Surprised Thankfully, it was eventually spotted by NJ and our misery was curtailed. SmileCheers RoddyC.

Great day with DisSister and Muggle65 today. Beautiful day and a very enjoyable stroll. Thank you for a fun series

A plan was hatched to go for a walk and collect all the caches in this well laid out geoart today. We had great weather conditions and enjoyed our exploration of the reserve and surrounds as we hunted. All caches found safe, some proving more challenging to both find and solve than others. Thanks RoddyC

After a meet up at Marsden it was time to find some more of there Running Men before they run away. Nice quick find here, log signed before replacing cache as found. TFTC

Had a spare hour, so we started the running series.. I hate puzzles .Much rather traditional or multies..We don't live too far away, and have been able to solve a few puzzles much to our surprise. We are enjoying the challenges This was a little more challenging to find .. but gotcha.. we had the park to ourselves .. tftc ..

Today, I spent the day with georode in the Logan LGA area for a number of recreational activities: a paddle, a run (Running Man), fishing (for caches), and finding a few challenges.
The morning's rain was relentless as we questioned our sanity to geocache, but during our walk in Boronia Bushland Reserve, the rain subsided, and we started to enjoy our finds. The day commenced with a short kayak session in Scrubby Creek, followed by the completion of the *Running Man* geoart. A few extra Boronia Heights geocaches were found as we travelled around the area, and then made the detour to Logan Gardens Water park for a couple of strategic reverse Wherigo TOTT caches. The day was finished with a visit to Burbank Bushland for a couple of laughable challenges.

Georode and I found this cache during our walk in the area, and the rainy clouds were playing havoc on our GPS devices, bouncing around in amongst the trees. After searching for a while as we circled around the landscape, we finally located this cache, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks RoddyC for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out for a daytrip in this area with Davidwazza for some caching.

This geoart was one of the main targets for the day. The puzzles were solved over the last year, although for some of them I needed strong hints to get to the solution. All in all a great mix of puzzles and a nice area for hides.

More (mostly unimportant) information can be found in my caching friends comprehensive log Smile

Thanks for the geocache

I've met up with joojoo57 and Richmond Lad for some puzzle solving, but first there will be some cache gathering [^] Our targets are a few more from this series. Pleased to say there were no failures. TFTC, RoddyC .

Over on the southside for some caching therapy and to visit some friends. Fathers day is hard for those that have recently lost a Dad and I guess it is also hard for those dad’s that have just lost a family.
Out with the Triple Turmoil’s for a late afternoon drive, to grab some caches and to brighten up everyone’s day. What a lot of fun we had chasing some of the running man series. Solving the puzzles turned out to be a joint effort as there were a couple I had missing and a couple Mischa had missing. A nice exchange of ideas and away we went. We found all our target caches today, signed the logs and replaced the caches as we found. A nice series and some nice hides thank you for the hides and the puzzles. We will be back to finish off the series.

With Chamad in the area it was easy to make a quick decision to go caching. So we ran to these, ran through them. Well, at least the ones that were solved. We have a few to go yet. Maybe slow and steady wins the race....

Sunday. Nicely disguised container for the area it’s hiding in! We were coming to the end of our mission today and this cache was one of the last few we had to find. We drove to this cache as it was a bit out of range for us on our bike trail.

This was the 24th of 26 caches found on this outing.

Thanks ***RoddyC*** for showing us this place Razz

Mrs Slow Puncture and i decided to meet up with our push bikes and find some caches around here. All up we found 28 caches and 1 DNF over a 4 hour bike ride . My geo work friend and i had so much fun solving these puzzles .This puzzle had us stumped for awhile and then i thought of something and would you know it i had the answer. We decided to drive to the last few and this one had great camo and lucky Mrs Slow Puncture and 20/20 vision. Thanks for all the fun

I had no idea about this puzzle… it was the Brainstrust who put my on the path to a solution… I’m not entirely sure I would have gotten a solution otherwise…

Today, with many roads closed thanks to the latest inundation of Brisbane, I made my way here for a cache for the day…

I’m pretty sure this cache was not as the CO intended… I was surprised after gaining access to the log it was wet… so after drying it, the inner container and the inside of the outer container I returned it and it’s camo to a logical location…

Tftc…

Out for the day with nikid1 & the Running Man series was our target for the day. This was a clever puzzle that I needed some help to get on the right track with or perhaps I was just stupid? Arrived at GZ & spent some time wandering in circles until I stumble across the sneaky cache.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache RoddyC

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to go south and collect some solved puzzles. This was stop number 1. I did a pretty average park but said that’s ok as we won’t be here long. Well that jinxed us. My phone had me heading in totally the wrong direction. Luckily KerriMG’s took us close then we walked around in circles with a neighbour’s dog not happy with our presence. KerriMG finally made the find. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC RoddyC

Very fortunate enough to have been invited by the CO to assist with the beta testing and cache placements of this terrific Running Man geo art series of interesting puzzles. Since then I have been slowly trying to solve each one but as in most cases with there being unique puzzles, of course I've had to resort to several PAF's.

Had a ball doing this one combined with the beaut hide.

Great camouflage on this lovely container. This series has provided us with much entertainment and puzzlement. We were also grateful for the input from the CO when we became totally stuck.
Thanks RoddyC, A great series.

For some reason the first part of this one I found easy...it wasn't until I read the clue that the final solution clicked.
We decided to make a start on finding the handful or so Running Man puzzles that we'd solved.
After a little search around our quarry was found sitting pretty waiting for visitors
Thanks For The series, puzzle and cache RoddyC.

Found while having an impromptu caching day with swearah chasing the running man, really we don't run, so he is safe but we found some of his caches. At GZ we did the GPS dance before spotting a well-made counterfeit .

I jagged this puzzle quickly and I’m still not sure if that’s good or bad...

Out with jodsta83 today chasing that guy who runs, we did a little circle dance at GZ and then spotted the cache with some nice camo.

Thanks for another fun puzzle in this series, RoddyC

Knocked over another 3 RoddyC puzzles so another quick foray into the unknown was warranted!

Back down at imkyra's headquarters so we headed out to grab the three latest published caches.
This was the last of the three &, it was noted by all, still unlogged after over 24 hours. Surprised
Fingers, eyes & legs crossed we headed in at an awkward shuffle & Mr VC quickly spotted it's lair.
Nice quick find indeed! Smile
Container was passed to 'ra' for the opening ceremony to find ...

... that caching etiquette, thoughtfulness & consideration for others had been thrown to the wind, to the veritable four corners of the earth! Sad
Nothing wrong with a STF or TTF or 234th to find as long as it's a find but disappointing to drag the weary bones out in the cold, dark, rainy night when a timely heads up could have kept us dry & happy enough for a find under better conditions.

Anyway ... made our mark & replaced as found then back to base for a dry off & a hot coffee!

TFTC RoddyC Smile
P.S. And the FTF is still not logged 7 days after finding? [?]
While it's common knowledge (isn't it [?]) that logging online is NOT a requirement all it takes is a 'Found it' to show consideration to other players. Sad

Quick easy find. It would be nice if the people that found it yesterday, logged it. Bit disappointing. TFTC

On a wet and rainy Easter Weekend I was sat in front of the computer tinkering around with updating my geocaching database when I eventually came across a series of new puzzles that had been published. I guess I must qualify on the Forrest Gump "stupid is as stupid does" rating scale, as the very first thing I tried on the checker gave me the confirmation. About this time, the almost constant rain had stopped and I decided that this was as good excuse as any to venture out into the fresh air rather than continuing to stare at the computer screen.

Arriving in the vicinity of GZ the coordinates zeroed me in quickly to the hide where the well camouflaged container was soon spotted. Signed my name into the logbook. TFTC.

P.S. The adhesive holding the camouflage on the lid of the container has come unstuck, likely due to the smooth texture.
