With caching being a little quiet for us over the last few weeks due to life commitments I decided it was time to nab some after work. I finished a little earlier then anticipated and with a few hours up my sleeve I thought Id get cracking at the Running ManI never actually realised this area was bush land so that took me by surprise, I guess its always a pleasant experience to wander around somewhere new, and I really enjoyed walking the trails, it brought back some memories from my old caching days.Quick find here after a brief search. Thanks for bringing me here.____________________________________Something big is coming to the Sunny Coast on the 5th October 2025.Head to GCARTY0 to see all about the Sunshine Coast Beach Party event.#4468 - TFTC
After finishing work in the neighbourhood I decided to grab these caches. Caches found and signed.RoddyC thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for enjoyment of the caching community.
After a last minute change of plans yesterday, , headed out west today to try and do the whole Running Man geoart series. I had solved the majority of these before leaving NZ, but did need a nudge from the CO after arriving in Oz, to get me on the right track for the remaining few.A pleasantly warm winter day today with 33 degrees, , so my initial plans from weeks ago of walking a route to get as many as possible were scrapped and driving as close as possible was now the order of the day.A nice quick find here, as there weren't many hint locations. Nearing the end now and still at 100% find ratio. TFTC
Out for a morning with Gunnie 69. He had done most of the solving on this series. Most were found quickly, and some had us stumped!Apologies for the generic logs, been a little slack in logging! TFTC RoddyC
I was curious about whether the resident muggle who was out pruning her shrubs would take any notice of a couple of wayward people who suddenly divert off the path and into the trees. Not so as it turned out, NurseyJulie and I drew no attention as we headed to GZ. Once there, the container was found in short order and the log extracted for business. With our names etched, everything was returned as found and we returned to the path, where I courteously greeted the green thumbed muggle as we passed. Cheers RoddyC.
Id forgotten all about this series all the way over this side of town. Our today to clean up a couple more needed.
Great day with DisSister and Muggle65 today. Beautiful day and a very enjoyable stroll. Thank you for a fun series
A plan was hatched to go for a walk and collect all the caches in this well laid out geoart today. We had great weather conditions and enjoyed our exploration of the reserve and surrounds as we hunted. All caches found safe, some proving more challenging to both find and solve than others. Thanks RoddyC
The main objective for our stay in Brisbane was to complete the 'Running Man'Worked our way through the puzzles conversing with the helpful CO along the way...It was Greek to me, until the CO kindly interpreted it for meToday was the day with the CO and hatzofff in attendance we drove, e-scootered, walked our way along the well defined pathways signing the logs and performing maintenance as required...Quick find here today, TFTC RoddyC

Ge, you do need to be on the right angle.. the hint was helpful..Ya, we have only number Four to find, and we have done the full trail .Tftc
I delved into this puzzle far more than I needed to. A few hours of entertainment/frustration. Luckily the cache was found far more quickly.
Today, I spent the day with georode in the Logan LGA area for a number of recreational activities: a paddle, a run (Running Man), fishing (for caches), and finding a few challenges.
The morning's rain was relentless as we questioned our sanity to geocache, but during our walk in Boronia Bushland Reserve, the rain subsided, and we started to enjoy our finds. The day commenced with a short kayak session in Scrubby Creek, followed by the completion of the *Running Man* geoart. A few extra Boronia Heights geocaches were found as we travelled around the area, and then made the detour to Logan Gardens Water park for a couple of strategic reverse Wherigo TOTT caches. The day was finished with a visit to Burbank Bushland for a couple of laughable challenges.
Georode and I found this cache during our walk in the area, and the rainy clouds were playing havoc on our GPS devices, bouncing around in amongst the trees. After a short search, and both of us thinking that we had checked the logical spot, it took a second search by georode to identify the cache. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Interesting to see an orienteering marker nearby too. Thanks RoddyC for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Out for a daytrip in this area with Davidwazza for some caching.
This geoart was one of the main targets for the day. The puzzles were solved over the last year, although for some of them I needed strong hints to get to the solution. All in all a great mix of puzzles and a nice area for hides.
More (mostly unimportant) information can be found in my caching friends comprehensive log
Thanks for the geocache

This caravan work is taking its toll and is a bigger job than I expected. However, I still need to collect a cache for today and keep my challenges kicking along. So it was just one today and this was the lucky one, oh but there is another just a short distance away so I guess I will grab it too.
After a fun cache just back from this one, I was in a good place; Oh, how quickly things change. This one had me searching all over the place and the hint was not a help. I tried to keep the hint in mind but what if someone had moved it or it was out of date. All these thoughts were racing along, as I could not find the hide. Then going back over an area I searched 3 times already, I happened to come in from a different angle and there it was and as the hint suggested. Oh my really I was so annoyed at myself, lol.
I signed the log and returned it to its hide. Thanks for the fun here today.

Mrs Slow Puncture and i decided to meet up with our push bikes and find some caches around here. All up we found 28 caches and 1 DNF over a 4 hour bike ride . My geo work friend and i had so much fun solving these puzzles We managed to figure this puzzle out in no time. At GZ we used the hint to find this cache
Needing some exercise, I to Boronia Heights to find some solved mystery caches an to go for a walk. Bushbashing back to the fenceline, I again followed it until I reached a path. I followed this close to GZ, then headed off track again. This cache took a bit of hunting down, but was eventually located and the log signed. TFTC
Oh this puzzle did my head in… I totally missed the obvious… a nudge from the Brainstrust saw the solution pop out at me…
With a small break in a weekend of chores I was able to come down and look for this cache… as expected it’s kind of damp through here and lots of flying vampires resulted in quite the dance before I spotted the container…

Out for the day with nikid1 & the Running Man series was our target for the day. This puzzle required less brain power than some of the others & the hide didn't present too many problems either. Our sunny day is starting to turn & looks like we might get wet before too long.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache RoddyC

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG and we decided to go south and collect some solved puzzles.
This puzzle was quickly solved and it was a quick find at GZ. We are now seeing a common theme with the cache containers.

Very fortunate enough to have been invited by the CO to assist with the beta testing and cache placements of this terrific Running Man geo art series of interesting puzzles. Since then I have been slowly trying to solve each one but as in most cases with there being unique puzzles, of course I've had to resort to several PAF's.
Another good cache placement here.

A happy event and the opportunity to collect some caches with E_Smiley.
Some of these puzzles had us bamboozled, and we had solved as many as we could prior to this event. The weather was beautiful and it was a great day out.
Thanks RoddyC

While attending a nearby Event I was able to take a short walk with a few other cachers to find this cache. Quick and easy find, log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Had a call down to Misbegot Bridge. Seems a troll tried to take over the area currently home to the canting crew. We’re still trying to bring him around. Foul Old Ron is not someone you want to get on the wrong side of. Or the right side. In fact any side!
Good hint. Didn't take long to find.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here RoddyC.

A long-ish walk here and I was stressing about getting to the event in time so it was a power walk. A quick find here after avoiding the mushy bits of ground. Thanks for the cache
Knocked over another 3 RoddyC puzzles so another quick foray into the unknown was warranted!

Found jointly with imkyra @ 5.00pm
Short version of the puzzle solving ... spent far too much time than was necessary on this puzzle!
A little birdie whispered in my ear & the solution slapped me across the choppers.
Cache container nicely concealed but not enough to elude us.
A nice quick find.
The ground certainly holds a lot of water in here, lucky I had my caching thongs on to keep me afloat.
Made our mark & replaced as found.
