Oops, forgot to log this one for the other day After a relaxed dinner post kayaking further than I've ever kayaked before gathering up caches, what do a couple of tired cachers do? Go find more caches of course A ramble around town doing the Ad Lab meant we really had to get the bonus too, tho it took a bit to spot it
After completing the Adventure Lab with the CO with me and calculating the coordinates all that was left was to find this bonus cache. At GZ we met up with team LaidlayMandM who assisted with the search.
Found today while on a walk around Nagambie's historic sites. Worth a fave point for the inventive container.thanks Cybergran V
Very nicely put together Ad Lab with great and interesting family history. And this bonus cache completed it. The container at GZ was spikeyyyy .Thanks @cybergran v
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Found on our way to Shepparton. Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local Villain Live - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 181Sidetracked Cache Finds: 133Back in Shepparton after many years to bring some smiles to the map, catch up with old friends, and celebrate Happy Feet1's birthday. This is one of the caches we found this weekend.
I luckily found this quickly as the rain had just started. Was difficult to get the log out but managed it eventually. Awesome tour of the churches around town. TFTC
#4424 First of four finds while travelling from Melbourne to Leeton. Found after a short search. TFTC
Found by The Empire + HWe left Melbourne early on a crisp winter morning, excited for our road trip to Echuca. The car was packed with snacks and a playlist ready to keep us entertained. Heading north on the Hume Freeway, we soon left the city's hustle and bustle behind, trading it for the open road and rolling countryside.Driving from Melbourne to Echuca, with stops in Nagambie and Shepparton, offers a picturesque journey through some of Victoria's charming regional towns. This road trip, spanning about three hours, takes you through lush farmland, scenic vineyards, and historic towns, each with its unique appeal. Our first stop was Nagambie, about 90 minutes from Melbourne. Nestled on the shores of Lake Nagambie, this charming town is renowned for its wine and water activities. As we approached, the sight of the tranquil lake and surrounding vineyards was a welcome change from the urban scenery. Signed the neat new logbook. Thanks for the cache, and the adventure Cybergran V.-M
Sat in plain sight at the site of GZ to sign in plain sight this in plain sight cache. Perfect co-ords - love it when GPS zeros in to zero. I also really enjoyed the AD LAB and journey into what was likely a bustling and different past. On this cool Autumn day I'm enroute to Shepparton - just a wee detour off the Hume on another geocache mission and catch up with the ever lovely generous CO. A fave for the Churches of Nagambie project is coming your way. TFTC and the FUN.
We achieved "completed " status on the ADLab the other day, had a quick reconnointer last night after a meal at the Rowing Club Bistro, but came back this morning to find a sneaky little hide. Thanks Cybergran V for your work here. Deserves a favourite.
I finished this AL on a previous visit but didn't have time to hunt down the bonus cache. I included it on my way south to visit my sister near Guildford today. I think that I was pretty lucky as it was a quick find and sign. SL TFTC CybergranV
**Churches of Nagambie Ad Lab Bonus**A group of us descended on Nagambie to paddle ourselves silly (that doesnt sound right? LOL). We attempted ahomburg's Visit Nagambie Lakes series, and visit we did (highly recommended). Kayaking was the main order of the day yesterday, but today we opted for some light A/L action. [@Cybergran V](https://coord.info/PRA57Y5)'s 'Churches of Nagambie' Adventure Lab kept us busy and entertained with personal stories, so this final was the icing on the cake. A wonderful hide in plain sight, [@JonnyGoldcoast](https://coord.info/PRWPD2W) was straight on it. I wish I'd seen it first! FP for the fun. Thanks V!Cache on *Throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Explore. Dream. Discover.* **Mark Twain**
I love a great bonus after a good Ad Lab, plus one that tells you to remember stuff along the way rather than drop that requirement at the end. Then this one has a great hide too. Wish I could give more than one FP.
I visited each of the adlab stops but didn't read the instructions carefully enough about the bonus cache. So after a couple of second visits we finally headed off to gz. A very clever hide at gz, thanks for the cache.
I loved this Adlab an easy stroll around town. My absolute favourite waypoint was St John's Anglican Church and the personal details you shared with us. WOW! In my head I see this church bursting with happiness and people such an important place for you The cache hide - oh so sneaky it took a little hunting but found at last. Thanks Cybergran V for sharing your story with us, fav from me.
The 3 Stooges (weredunn4, WayneAPN and I) are on another road trip from Adelaide. This time we are heading to Bundalong and Nagambie in Victoria, with the tinny in tow targeting High Terrain caches on the Murray River along with any other caches of interest along the way.Always a truckload of fun with these two adventure freaks A great time had as always, banter, belly laughs, the odd philosophical discussion or two and great comradery. All caches located & stamped or signed, and most importantly, maintenance performed where necessary.TFTC
Did the nice AdLab and obtained the numbers. Performed some calculations and came up with a set of coords.Quick find at GZ. Nice hide. Love it. Sneaky.TFTAL and TFTC SL
Having found the clues on a very pleasant morning walk around town, I sat down to figure out GZ only to realise that I'd left my pens in my other pants back at the ranch. Knowing that it was a tricky find, I decided to have a look anyway to save time on the way out of town. Things were looking grim for a moment or two until I spotted something that wasn't quite right and sure enough, that proved to be the cache at 08:30.It wasn't hard to talk my Cuz into a short diversion and so I was finally signing the log at 11:00. All worthy of a fave point. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Cybergran V.
A tricky little hide. Well done! Its always nice to have a bonus after an AdLab. Many thanks Cybergran V for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. And thanks for sharing the highlights of your region.
I needed to be in Nagambie this afternoon and decided to head north early and do some caching. With all the recent rain and flooding I figured that caches near rivers could be problematic... so I decided to cache the Murchison - Rushworth rail trail. Having had a successful time along the rail trail I made my way back to Nagambie... where, before leaving, I completed the Ad Lab (under a different ID) and then went after this Mystery Bonus. Not exactly what I would call "plain sight" but i soon spotted something worth investigating... and sure enough, it was the cache. Thanks **Cybergran V** for the Ad Lab and this Bonus cache.
After completing the AdLab and gathering the required numbers we had a set of coordinates and off we set, sneaky hide but soon in hand, signed and replaced but is missing it's top, TFTC and the fun
Date: December 23, 2023 Time: 2:27 PMFind #14337On the way to Nagambie for a family Christmas do, but had heaps of time so stopped for some caches along the way. While I had do e the adlab part of this one a year ago, I ran out of energy in the heat. Today was much more pleasant and a nice quick find.Massive thanks go to Cybergran V for placing this one.
a nice walk around town and just happened to be the second thing we touched and we found the cache. An awesome hide. TFTC!
Loved the little lab around the churches and a great final... lid is missing but the log seems to be surviving without it. FP because we tried to do that once with that type of camo and gave up...lol
We were looking for school holiday fun and found this great adventure in Nagambie. Its fun we now know a bit more about CybergranV! Very cleverly hidden cache, a definite favourite
With a huge portion of the Victorian caching community enjoying their pilgrimage north to Longreach, chook(nchunk) and I decided to plan our own little mini-adventure, targetting adlabs, solved puzzles, faves, TDOCs and anything else that piques our interest along the way. Day One: Seymour, Nagambie, Shepparton, Echuca, Deniliquin. A fun AdLab resulting in a clever hide at gz.Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Cybergran V ~~
Day 1 of Chook and OzHockeyChick's "QOGM-consolation" roadtrip, targeting caches in three states over four days of fun, friendship, laughter and adventure. We enjoyed this nice little Adventure Lab, and soon had what we required for this bonus cache. A clever hide here which OHC spotted fairly quickly. Thankyou Cybergran V for both the labs and the bonus cache.
While up in Shepparton for the Running Festival, we kicked off the weekend with the Euroa Parkrun, then breakfast in town. Then, off exploring the area to tick of the few caches we had left in the area
Well, that took a bit to find , very sneaky tftc

Quickly grabbed the Lab Caches (and the clues) and solved the GZ for this one and made a nice quick find of the prize.

Well that was rather freaky!! God was certainly sending me a message..........
After completing the Ad Lab, I had a brainfart & couldn't think how to access the Bonus Cache!! Thankfully it dawned on me that there was an offshore challenge. Plugged in my numbers & the heavens opened!! Torrential rain complete with thunderbolts & lightning
I drove to the coords but it wasn't going to happen today. I'll be back though.......... Many thanks

Found on our way from Geelong to Yarrawonga. Lovely drive around this beautiful town, Dad says he’d definitely like to live here. The story about the church that was run over was very interesting. GZ was in an appropriate location and was a quick find, nicely constructed! TFTC!
JJ52 and myself had a fun and productive three days traveling to visit Bendigo and finding some caches along the way. Any excuse to stretch the car's legs. Today's goal was some cache maintenance in Mitiamo then some caches NE of Bendigo.
I made an exception to my rule of not doing AbLabs because of the favourite points on this bonus cache. A well crafted cache was quickly spotted at GZ.
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Cybergran V.

I was on a road trip with sushilord heading to Bendigo for a few days and finding caches far and wide. We weren't after numbers just out of the way places and caches with lots of favourite points. We had an enjoyable and fun time, but I was stuffed by the time we got home.
The only AL we completed for the trip. Noted all the info we needed then headed to GZ where the cool cache was spotted.
Thanks for the cache Cybergran V a favourite for me too.

Wow, what a clever cache! I did the adlab and only realized i should have been collecting info for the bonus when i finished it. Luckily i could remember most of it and just had to recheck one location. Im glad i did because this is a ripper little cache. Loved it cybergran.
On our way home from the Whittlesea mega event.
Completed the lab caches around the town.
Collected the clues and did the calculations.
At GZ, we found the sneaky hide and added our name to the log.
Well worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Cybergran V (F=10433 H=61), for us and others to find.

Wow that was so sneaky. Checked that and dismissed it until I checked closer. Lovely AL
And it means I qualify for the Victorian public holiday challenge.
Lovely time in Shepparton with Kittykatch on the way to the Mega.
Thanks for getting me out and about Cybergran V

Lovely end to a fun AdLab. Initially ‘found’ but dismissed this hide, but on closer inspection the second time… great hide!
On our holiday on the way to Outback in North Queensland, we planned to go there in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID lockdown. We will stop at Charlesville for a few days for Events. Fav from me
Finding your cache Cybergran V, thank you so much for placing it.
Really enjoyed the AdLab and this sneaky hide. My new young caching friend was astounded. Blends in really well. Wonder if the container was always here?
After completion of the very enjoyable Churches of Nagambie Adventure Lab, we had all the necessary information to calculate the coordinates for this bonus cache. Accurate coordinates and an interesting object led to a relatively quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Cybergran V for the bonus cache.
#4902 After a very enjoyable AdLab, had quickly worked out the coordinates for this bonus. Only had about a minute to find the cache prior to a work commitment at 1pm so the pressure was on! Our prayers were answered due to spot on coords when just by chance Mr BGF placed his had where the sneaky sneaky hide was located first attempt! Great hide combined with a fun and humorous AdLab earns a fave from us. Thank you Cybergran V.
Had a great time with Diana8 and Violafireworks walking around Nagambie. Spent quite a while exploring at GZ before I eventually spotted something and … success! Excellent hide

Stopped in Nagambie with Julesc21 and violafireworks on the way back from a weekend in Shepparton and had time to do the adlab and this cache. We spent quite some time looking for the cache at GZ and Julesc21 eventually found the very cleverly hidden cache. Definitely a +1fp from me. TFTC!
Mr Dromaniax had been camping at Smoko Campground for the last couple of nights with his muggle brother and father. After packing up camp, we headed towards Harrietville to see if we could rustle up a coffee before heading to Myrtleford to cook brunch.
After we had enjoyed our brunch, we headed toward home. Again we didn't want to spend too much time on the highways as you miss much if you don't venture from the beaten track.
Mr Dromaniax's muggle father is a retired Uniting Church minister, and he vividly recalls when the Chapel by the Lake became a drive-through worship centre. It made sense then to check out the Churches of Nagambie Adventure Lab.
Once we had completed the fascinating Adventure Lab, we stopped at the local bakery to grab some sausage rolls for afternoon tea and calculate where this Bonus Cache was.
We arrived at GZ, and it was the muggle brother who found the very cleverly hidden cache.
Thank you, Cybergran V, for an excellent Adventure lab and an innovative Bonus cache.
A Favourite Point from us for giving us a hide that we haven't seen before.

Loved the Adventure caches of all the lovely churches bar one that we could no longer physically see though the picture was incredible. Needed the help of a saint in finding this bonus cache. Thanks Mary!
Thanks for this clever hide, Cybergran V.
I really enjoyed your comments about the churches for the Adventure Lab cache. It gave the experience a personal touch.
So it's been a very pleasant time here in Nagambie, and a favourite point coming your way.

An excellent Adventure Lab that highlighted the beautiful churches in Nagambie. Loved the personal details shared by the CO, with the christening story being an absolute classic.
We all headed to GZ and while Steve & I checked out one particular spot, Crusty made the find on this very well camouflaged cache.
Thank you Cybergran V. Can understand the amount of favourite points this cache has received, and will be adding another one to the tally.

We have never stopped to look around Nagambie. When we drive thru it feels like we’re nearly home and we keep going. Today we stopped for lunch, a walk and a tour around the lovely local churches. I think we’ll be back for a weekend here.
We enjoyed finding your well crafted cache today on the first day of our road trip. A favourite from us.

Really enjoyed visiting an area which I hadn't visited for years. Decided that this Adventure Lab series had been on my radar for long enough so made a slight detour to grab a few caches. Arrived at the start of a major fishing weekend. After the prerequisite coffee, I went for a stroll taking a few pics and grabbing a few caches along the way. Also managed to get my 3rd 'booster' shot on a pop-up bus / clinic.
Really enjoyed my visit to this lovely town which was topped off nicely with this cache.
A nice hide here. Sneaky but well hidden.
Thanks for the cache Cybergran V. Appreciate your efforts.

*Took*: Nothing
*Left*: Fave Point.
**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
Cache on!

We really enjoyed seeing these churches.
It was a very well contained within town and nicely flowed one after the other.
We felt like we were having our own private family history tour!

Happy Australia Day everyone and it looks like it’s a good day to go for a drive and pick up a few caches up north of Melbourne.
Air con and cruise control on, plenty of water in the fridge so off I go.
After spending the morning in Seymour and nearly clearing that town out of caches it was time to keep heading North to the next town which is Longwood.
After completing Longwood, it was time to head back towards Melbourne but I took the old Hume Hwy through Locksley , Avenel then Mangalore.
Looked at the clock and thought a couple more in Nagambie will finish the day off just nicely.
The last one for the day and I was going to walk the Church series but it was just to hot today so a combination of walking and driving was used to complete it.
I worked out the coords for this and I will admit that this one had me walking around in circles for a bit till I spotted something and yep I had the clever and sneaky cache in hand.
Now time to head back to Melbourne after a great day out.
A fav goes out to you for the great hide that took a bit to spot.
Thanks Cybergran V TFTC.

Found. On my way to Wang!
Mega weekend is almost upon us.
Hard to pass by an Adventure Lab and associated Bonus cache. Especially one with a bit of history attached.
A delightful guided tour of the Churches of Nagambie, some of which I am already familiar with, others - not so much.
Easy to see why this one is running at such a high percentage of favorite points. Here, have another one Val.
Visited some TBs.

Out for a mental health break and catching up with some friends. Checking out the area and finding some caches. I had a great day in the beautiful area. Thanks for placing the caches. Out with Monica_is_evil and mrx2. Great spot. TFTC
On a day out adventuring with mrx2 and diablo1234 we had fun with this adventure lab cache! Thanks for taking us to some lovely parts of the town. At the final gz mrx2 picked up the cache and put it back without inspecting it properly. We searched for another minute and then re-examined the initial camo to spot that it was actually the cache!
Thanks for the bonus cache Cybergran V. A very clever hide indeed. In Nagambie for work so quickly completed the Adventure Lab cache before grabbing this bonu.s cache
After doing the ad lab, we still had time to look for this bonus. We were a little concerned that we may run out of time but managed to find the bonus without too much trouble. I think we were lucky to have done so. Thanks for the tour and this bonus.
This one could have taken a lot longer to locate than what it did. A bit fortunate as we didn't have much time to spare. Thank you for this clever cache.
Never tired of visiting churches anywhere.
Its shame one of church was damage by a truck. Lucky noone hurt.
At the end I was barking at wrong tree and then I spotted it.
yay TFTC

My more recent visits to Nagambie have been paddling adventures.
Today being a Sunday my interests turned to churches and after successfully completing the lab adventure and my maths was okay I set off for your hide.
Not surprised it has a lot of favourite points. It is getting another.
Thanks Val.

Making the most of Holidays and being able to travel. I decided on a 4 day trip that seen me head up to Swan Hill then down via Lake Boga, Kerang, Koondrook, Cohuna, Leitchville, Mt Terrick Terrick NP, Corop, Colbinabbim Rushworth, Whroo and finally Nagambie (then back home to St.Arnaud). Lots of back tracks taken and lots of dust to clean out of the ute. It was over 1250km travelled and flying solo on this trip I had lots of fun finding the caches.
I took a couple more wedges out of my 360Deg “finds from home” map and ticked off a couple of caches that I have heard about that were on my “to find” list.
There was a huge Variety of caches found from bird boxes to Fridges, Wall mountable tool boxes to Eclipse tins, with the odd ammo can thrown in. A couple of head scratching gadget caches chewed up some time but will be memorable for time to come. Numerous puzzles that I had solved i managed to find and I even managed to make good on a couple of DNFs, and add some more DNFs to my list. Even though I was out on my own I still had to use a couple of PAFs to get by. Thanks guys.
After driving around town collecting the info for the lab I then worked out the final GZ. Wow that is a cool and nasty hide.

Out for a drive to Rushworth, we stopped at Nagambie for the Adventure Lab Cache. On our way home we did the bonus cache. WOW, it was sneaky. So well placed, a lot of searching and a PAF. A favourite point, thanks Cybergran V.
Found the descriptions very informative and enjoyed the more personal anecdotes that were included which added interest and life to this series. Collected all the numbers which resulted in a likely set of coordinates leading to a clever cache. A favourite point all round. Thanks CybergranV
Nice adventure lab that took us on enjoyable walk around the town on a sunny afternoon. Good to get some fresh air before another enforced period indoors. The bonus cache was an excellent hide and took a bit of spotting although my friend was on it quickly. Thanks for the lab and for the final bonus
Having enjoyed the lab series, it was time to tackle this well executed hide. A previous finder made it slightly easier, but a great cache as usual for the co. A favourite point. Thanks for placing the cache Cybergran V.
I had previously done the ALs, but not done this cache, so today it was straight there to the final. Took a minute or two!
Suscoe was heading north today for a caching trip.
With the worst of the rain left behind us around the Metro Ring Road we first encountered fog coming over the Great Dividing Range.
Once we down on the northern side we had clouds but the day remained fine.
We had a wonderful time wandering the roads all the way to Mulwala today but we did take the long way round at times.
Thanks to Cybergran V for this bonus cache.
We enjoyed the wander required to find this cache and learned a great deal about these delightful buildings.
A well presented hide, well worth a favourite from us.

What a beautiful tour of the churches where you grew up V. Enjoyed the adlab, and the bonus cache did not disappoint. Liked the ingenuity of the container, so favourite awarded.

Our final day on the road after attending the CacheQLD MEGA, over Easter. After completing the Churches of Nagambie Adventure Lab, it was a bonus to add our name to this very cleverly concealed cache - FP awarded for cache hide.
Thanks Cybergran V for placing interesting caches on the gameboard.

After getting the co-ords correct we spent a lot of time searching with no luck,we will be back.
Unfortunately we could not spot this one today. We poked around for ages and were disappointed to walk away with a D NF. Have saved the coordinates for any future trips to Nagambie
Found by Mary and David at 13:05. Definitely a FP. Loved the Labs and the views. We drove through Nagambie only a couple of hours after the Holy Truck struck, and it was still embedded in the church. So lucky that no one was inside at the time. We're heading to Dayboro and this is Day 1 for us. Delighted to have sunshine and blue sky already. Our new pathtags arrived late yesterday, which was cutting it very close. Had lunch from the bakery. Our thanks to Cybergran V.
Found at 11.15am. After a pleasant walk around town, We took a few minutes to find this well hidden cache.
Interesting history along the way, thoroughly enjoyed.

We really enjoyed our tour of the Churches of Nagambie. We crunched the numbers and made the find of the well camoed cache hidden in plain sight. A favourite from us, thanks Cybergran V.
Traveling south to Williamstown, BettyBoo3747 and I detoured to have a look at the AdLab about the churches.
Really enjoyed looking at the buildings and hearing about your memories of them.
We assembled our numbers and the checksums were good.
A very short drive had us at GZ, and the well hidden cache was soon in hand.
Thanks for this and the AdLab, Robmc.

#17,807. I didn't realise we were actually heading here today until Rob said "turn right at Locksley" - Oh OK. So we continued on here and first stop was by the lake. Blue skies and sunshine but that wind was oh so cool. Each time we got out of the car we got a shock.
I enjoyed the AdLab very much with the personal stories highlighted. Also enjoyed seeing the Pelican sculpture and the wonderful Black Caviar along the shoreline. Gathered all the numbers and worked out a new set of coordinates and then headed to GZ. With doggies in tow we arrived and began the search. Rob's eagle eyes had things sorted in quick-time. Great hide here. Names are on the log sheet and we returned container as found and continued on our way to Melbourne. Thanks for the adventure and the cache.

Wow my very first Adventure Lab completed before the heat sets in! Had no idea what it entailed but as I started I worked it out pretty quick. The bonus cache had me stumbling around clueless. I was overthinking it, stood back and bingo! Thanks for the fun!
Found while in the area visiting family.
We enjoyed a bike ride with the kids to these spots.
We had to cvome back to the bonus cache the next day as the guy across the road was watering his trees on the fenceline the first time so we didn't spot.
Super sneaky hide here too!
Thanks for placing the geocache for us to find.

After spending the weekend camping nearby I returned to town to finish a couple of caches before moving on, I walked the streets and visited the local churches. Turning the clues into coordinates I set off to what appeared to be a reasonable GZ. On arrival I found a cockatoo keeping a close eye on things. At first I thought it may have been the cache itself (a stuffed cockatoo) but it definitely wasn’t. After searching the area I let the gps settle a little more and then I spotted something. A clever hide indeed!
Thanks Cybergran V for the cache.

The CO had been saying what fun she had in creating this cache and seeing we were finally in the area I decided we’d do both the Adventure Lab series and this BONUS cache to see what she was raving about. It took us to a range of the churches in the town. Most were beautiful for the era they were built in. The most interesting story was of the church attacked by a truck! Great story and true! This cache seemed to top off the experience with an actual physical cache in an easily accessible location. We loved the whole experience. Thanks Cybergan Val.
