OCW Ironbark and had the opportunity to visit the Endangered Species Power Trail.Until now I wasn't aware of these species being endangered.Thank you so much [SpecimenX](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?u=specimenX) & [Rapidlywild](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?u=Rapidlywild) for placing these caches and many thanks to [DARKSIDEDAN](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?id=11518384) for maintaining them.
Out for a look from Burrinjuck, so thought we would grab a few on this trail. Thanks for the placement.TFTCIronbark
Weve only just started this fantastic trail! Cant wait to get back here and spend the whole day! Thanks so much for the amazing effort and great hides! TFTC
The rest of the family is away for school holidays so I decided to have a long weekend caching. After a day along the Murray yesterday, today I headed up to Yass. Wanted to clean up the endangered species trail and see what happened after that. Tomorrow is my big day - aiming to hit 7000 and set a new caches in a day record. Ended up in Binalong as well for a few in the afternoon. This wasnt active last time but was back in place and easily found. Missed the Barbed wire until I tried to leave - no blood was spilt here but watch out in future.TFTC DARKSIDEDAN
I remember this road as dirt, but it's sealed now, or at least this far. Latest log is okay. Then I headed to the cafe at Bookham for a coffee. TFTC DARKSIDEDAN.
Alot of time and effort was invested into placing this series and I am glad to see that so many people have enjoyed it. After being in play for 10 years, the ownership was trasnferred over to DSD to keep the trail alive, thanks DSD. Learnt alot of new things also during the creation of this series about all the different endangered animals, its sad really.
Catching up on some late logs after attending the Geobash Mega in Canberra. Starting to head home now over the next few days and picking some up along the way.Stopped of here and happy to make a quick find. Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
This series is the linchpin of my 200 in 24 hours challenge. I've wanted to get it for a while and decided it would work well as the basis to try and meet the 200 goal. Thanks for all the caches you place - it's a huge effort. I struggle to get out and maintain a few dozen.
Afternoon out in Yass area. Got about 50 caches. Signed and replaced. Thanks for all the caches to find in the area. Added new paper in plastic glad bag to cache, to keep log dry.
Reperio 09:07This was Day 3 of our camping getaway to Yass to go in search for some of the local geocaches, and things got off to a very early start being woken up by some extra enthusiastic 4WDers, so we decided to leave where we were and resume where we left off yesterday. With approximately 150 caches found today, we had an awesome day with only about 10 DNFs, and managed to either replace broken containers or do some log maintenance along the way. An afternoon drive to listen to some podcasts, find a few isolated caches, and visit a few lab caches. Cache easily found. The original log was very wet, but thankfully someone had left a right in the rain log which I signed. TFTC.

This was a quick find. TFTC!
We decided to grab a couple of caches before the close of 2022. We aimed to find most of the caches on the Benangaroo road and then made our way to the Endangered Species Power Trail. We did a bit of planning beforehand as we have two young ones in the car and therefore time is somewhat limited before they start complaining. We were also aiming to reach 365 caches for the year and we managed to reach our goal. We found most of the caches on our list and enjoyed the mostly quiet road. Thanks to all who created these caches for us to find!

It was very wet underfoot and very overgrown. Some containers were found out in the open and I surprised they didn't float away. I suspect some others have. There were also a number that had wet logs and could not be signed. Overall, it was a fun morning in a beautiful area. Thanks for the cache
Decided to head down to Childowla to grab the two caches that have been regenerated since I did the series. This was the first one. All OK.
Thanks,
Thanks,
Thanks for the cache Darksidedan. Log was a nice place place to sit and admire the view, at least until the termites started making a meal on my butt. Signed the other log that was very wet from Vic
Another appeared so thought I better make the detour to keep the endangered species series complete. Tftc tnln
Found on a (reasonably) big day of caching on my way to my accommodation in Jugiong en route to the Wangaratta mega. I did this trail ages ago (bar the dirt road section) but this reincarnation cache was a target of mine today. I forgot how quiet this road is and how well suited it is for a power trail; it's also got lovely vegetation and scenery. Quick find at GZ; there was a tiny bit of water inside but the logbook isn't wet. TNLNSL. TFTC DSD!
Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 22. After three weeks in Adelaide and South Australia, the time has come to head home. Today's travel was from Hay to Canberra via Narrandera, Wagga and Gundagai. It was pretty much a straight run home, but I did stop in Wagga for two tree climbs and Gundagai for the Labs there. It is always nice to come home.
I took a short detour to visit this new placed cache. I have one more way down the bottom, but I will leave that for another day.
Thanks for the cache DARKSIDEDAN

Catching up on some old draft logs. Found on a trip to Gundagai to get some galvanising done. TFTC.
I had logged most of this series some many years ago however I had about 4 that I had not found. Drove out with Contesta to complete the series. Great area very picturesque. TFTC.
Today’s adventures out and about picking up some caches around Bookham and surrounds with Marmaduke Rothschild. An epic day planned before our starts to shrink once again with lockdowns closing in around us.
And before the next lot of rain hits us. With winter nearly over I’m sure looking forward to spring and longer days of warmth and sunshine ️.
All logs in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to COs for placing and maintaining these caches.

Today's goal, finishing the challenge and Australian bird series and then getting back home in time. Had all the required gear with and even though some where tricky I managed to find all. Great series with a lot of variation.

Found with Aquilus1 and Tankengine while out on a cache maintenance run and to clear out a few more caches.
This cache: picking up while here, but too tired and just wanted to head home. Will come get other missing ones another day. Tftc!

With Tankengine and dty73 we set out early this morning to watch the balloons, so after they floated off and a bit of breakfast we set off for the cache maintenance that was on the days agenda. That taken care of and with Yass close by with caches we could all get, made for a good choice for our next direction. As luck would have it a new cache published while there and an unexpected AL we hadn't noticed and FTF.
Cached our way about and after a little lunch a new plan and it was off to Jugiong for another new cache, a busy town as we did the local caches and then a few others on the way home. An unexpected but lovely day with a lot of variety, nice scenery and some quality caches along the way.
Loved this series when we first visited and a few more today to find. No issues finding and a peaceful location on this lovely day. Thanks for the cache Darksidedan.

Stretching our wings again, clocking up the Kms - 700+, first interstate travel for a year.
Back in 2014 we loved learning about the animals on the ES series, so it was great to call by today and meet the Arctic Fox.
Thanks DARKSIDEDAN for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Heading to Yass with Roostaman, for a day of caching.
Couldn't let this one remain unfound, so took a short detour, for an easy find.
Many thanks for placing this cache, DARKSIDEDAN, for us and others to find.

With a day off and possible FTF’s along the ES trail behind Bookham, I decided on going out there to collect the next chunk of caches along the road. A little more purple then last time I was out here. It was a very peaceful drive until one of the locals hassled me, about what I was doing. She knew about Geocaching but wasn’t fully convinced that was what I was doing, **so future Cacher’s beware.** Other than that, I have now have completed the Dirt part of the trail and a couple of others along the way, which included finding some GCA Moveable caches. These moveable caches have already been moved to the above location. TB visit on all caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and to DSD for maintaining the PT. It has brought me much enjoyment. TFTC’s
