An enjoyable long weekend caching with friends around the Southern Tablelands.Quick find in a beautiful location. TFTC beccybooloo!
A cool and fun day of caching around the Southern Tablelands. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location according to the hint, although as others have said. 30 metres out!Container and log in good condition. Thanks! No more tennis courts though
Not quite where we first looked but the item matching the hint held the caches.Last night was an event in Orange. This morning we did a local explore, an adventure lab and waited to decide on our direction. Caching south a bit for a while but the decision has come that we are heading north.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor with a stop at Maralinga, Ceduna, Lincoln National Park, Coober Pedy, Oodnadatta, Broken Hill & Orange.TFTC. Found cache 20m from GZ. Clue pointed to it.
Quick find today with the kids on our central NSW school holiday adventure. Thanks for the fun
TFTC beckybalooThe hint definitely helped. On my way home from Canowindra and thought I would enjoy a short break in this lovely little park
The GPSr had us quite some distance away today, but the clue was definite about where the cache was, and that is where we found it. No log was in place, so we have placed a temporary log. There is still plenty to see and do in Canberra and lots of caches, but it is time to move on. The cold is getting to us so we will be heading north. We made the journey from Canberra to Orange, we haven't been here before! As usual we stopped for a few convenient caches along the way and enjoyed lunch in Cowra.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache beccybooloo.**SKI Pair****
Found 32m away from where our devices sent us. Leftovers from the last Christmas celebration were still hanging in the trees. The hint saved the find.
On a trip back to Canberra from Orange, and taking the opportunity to pick up a couple of caches along the way. This one was tricky as we were initially looking in the wrong spot, but the geokid used the clue and found it for us. TFTC!
33,633. Found during our Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure - a 33 day epic tour of Northern NSW and Outback Queensland finding many caches, attending great events and catching up with awesome Cachers along the way.Queensland Outback GeoMuster (QOGM) 2023 Longreach Adventure Day 33. Final day of the trip. Today we packed up, and continued South towards home grabbing - in my case - just 6 caches. Then it was actually really good to get home. This was the next one on the list. LAST FIND OF THE TRIP !! Quickly found once at GZ. Signed as F65 and A33 as required. Replaced the cache as found, then we continued on our journey home. Thanks to all the COs who put out these caches !!
QOGM 2023 Longreach Day 33. Wellington to Canberra via Canowindra and Cowra. Fitzy_1965 and Albida33 are on our trip in early spring to Longreach. This was the last day of the QOGM journey for us. A great time was had and I am already looking at new trips into the various parts of the Australian outback. Today was a non direct drive home as we sought out a few caches in an area we have both been to many times. Having arrived home safely it was time to unpack and for Fitzy to take the last leg to his home with MinnieK.The trip to Cargo was a bit of a detour, but we found the caches we went to find. This one was only found with the clue as it was about 30m away from the posted GZ.Thanks for the cache beccybooloo44614.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & November 2021 Days of the Dead A#480**Albida**
One of the things my parents taught me was to not believe the things you see written on toilet walls. I remember the day they gave me warning and told me it was safer to meet complete strangers on apps like Tinder and Grindr. We stopped for a cache and the facilities and there on the toilet wall was a sign for coffee next door. Surely I would find some sound advice written in a toilet so I was either heading off to be robbed, a great morning of sex or at least an actual coffee. We ventured next door and I have to say the coffee was awesome. The sex was sub-par. I told the lady in the shop where I had seen her advertisement and she at least was happy that I had washed my hands. tftc

Had some time today to go for a drive, so took a drive out to Cargo and then headed over to grab this one. Great little spot.

Needed the previous logs to get to the place and then manage to get it without getting my feet wet – just! TF T C
Stopped here for two reasons ,,,,,,,, the most important, but not necessarily the most pressing being logging a cache right where we stopped. Or so we thought ! But who has ever heard of a troll hanging out on a tennis court fence ? ? Go 37 metres in another direction where one knows trolls live, and you will most likely have sucess as we did. So thanks beccybooloo for an otherwise good cache in a good hiding place, and in good dry condition with plenty of space to sign the log.
Took us about 20 minutes to find but got there in the end, as said by others coordination‘s are quite off but it was a good challenge mostly used the hint to find this one!!
Used corrected coordinates from "IF" log to the bridge and then after snooping around spotted it, not sure why I missed in my last visit but container is good, posted coords are way off

After a few weeks of too much cold and damp weather,
I was headed inland today to try and find a bit of summer weather
Cargo was sunny and warm !!
Better yet there was a good excuse to go for a walk around towne
First stop on me stroll was here in the park.
Where after a bit of a look around while standing at GZ,
I spied the nearby spot to which the hint alluded
Easy find in the right spot ... Ta !!

As per previous logs, the coordinates are well out. Got there with hint in the end.
Found while having a up of tea in the park.
I used the hint as the coords are about 40m out.

#545. Luckily we read the hint and previous logs to find this one a little further away than the coordinates. Found with meals 5. TFTC!
Lovely day for a quick trip out to Cargo for some geocaching with mealo. Coordinates certainly a long way out but able to locate the cache with the help of the hint.
Cache was 37 meters out, luckily we checked the logs and discovered they were out, used the hint more than the gps. Suggesting this is updated TFTC
A beautiful day for caching and walking around the town but this one is a little off course at 30 metres variance. Use the hint, not the coordinates Found with Sophiescout and Jemalong and Family. TFTC
I needed a few caches for the “Well Travelled Cacher” challenge and this was one that filled a spot. The coordinates were a bit out so we used the hint and came up with the goods in the logical spot.
It was an easy find with the hint. Coords were off. Enjoyed the wander around!

After a huge 2020 it seemed only right to have 2021 start off with a smile. So with SA and VIC plans on hold once again, we decided to join the local New Year’s Day event and then head off north west to find some more counties for K8TYBEE. The event was so fun we stuck around for some team caching! Finally on the road we swung by here to grab a cache. Master plan is to hit Grenfell, Orange and swing back to Parkes
Pulled in here for a bathroom break and were pleased that there was a cache nearby to grab Cords were about 30 meters off, which had up looking in the wrong spot, but the hint led us to the goods! TFTC

While 2020 was personally and professionally challenging and then you add in a pandemic, 2021 had a lovely start with an event and a few caches along the way. Hopefully the theme for this year will be good laughs and good health.
Although NRC and my original SA plans may have been shutdown by the border closures, we decided to venture out anyway into our immediate backyard of NSW and pick up some counties and some much needed R&R.
