With a challenge cache in Brisbane at the front of mind I headed south for the long weekend with a few very distinct goals in mind.Having fought my way through the traffic last night I pulled up stumps in Ballina and arose for the short hop to the target area this morning. After finding a safe spot to park the car I made my way quickly to ground zero and quickly located the cache safely tucked away waiting to be found.Log signed and safely returned to its hiding place I returned to the car and made my way to the next adventure. A big thanks to the cache owner for Making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Out caching with Blissbaby and made our way to this cache. I couldnt work out how to get to it.TFTC
After a morning of housework it was time for some fun. Geodog and I came for a drive to tidy up the smileys in this area . All is well at the cache here. Interesting spot.
I reckon it would be nice to live here. Swapped SWAG, took a little kitty magnet thing. Witnessed a Ninja turtle and Dino battle. ?? Signed the log and yeeted.

After a good day yesterday doing a leg of the Mushroom series, we only need 20 more to complete the April challenge. After a morning of watching the grand daughter playing netball, we set off for a loop around MacLean hoping that we don't have any DNF's as we need them all. I had a timeframe to be back by 3pm, Mrs Snakepitter needed to watch the NRL 'Canberra Raiders' play on the TV. I was only an hour late, thankfully we had the radio and Kayo on the phone.

Easy find nice view of the cane fields and new highway , come across this little fella on our find.
Found at 4:00 PM GAFF1.
Gosh - did we make a mess of the access to this cache! We initially approached it from the north and found that we went under the Pacific Hwy and then ended up in someone's property - oops!
So we got out of there and then looked at our map and discovered a much easier way in [:o)]
Got to GZ and enjoyed the vista and then after stumbling over a decoy, the cache was found.
Well that's it for today - 48 finds and 1 DNF, so back to camp for a few drinks and a really good bbq'd piece of rump on the Ziggy
Thanks Baby Birt.
