Replaced container and log with 1MinnieMoo.Very overgrown these days but very obtainable.
Found with Dora the Explorer! After searching all the logical spots the cache was found soon enough. It was not quite what we were expecting.TFTC
We looked Hugh and low and low and high and eventually found the cache. Was bigger than I expected. Don't over think it.
Out targeting specific caches to complete a challenge. Certainly named appropriately as Certainly did some groaning. Had to resort to a PAF. Tip acquired from CO. Started a systems search and finally spotted container. Took some time to get container out, but eventually got there. Log signed. Thanks for the adventure and the cache.
well that was funand i scored 20cpoor fasted looks a little hairy after playing in the reeds
First went along back fence so backtracked along road to GZ. Headed into the area. Stopped took a look where GPS was pointing and a big "oh" was said and so with trepidation my rock dance began. As you know it rained last night and a frog was croaking joining my ohs. The cache was sighted, log signed and returned to where I found it. Thanks Fangsoki and 1Minnie moo. All good with this cache. A favourite for the challenge given.

Out for the day with RoddyC hatzofff Snickersallan Imbunda and grannysmith1947 for a fun day of geocaching on the northside again.
With instructions from a previous finder we went in search of this cache but couldn't seem to find it. 15mins and still nothing. Made a PAF to get better directions and found we were searching in the wrong place!! Didn't understand the hint until it was obvious now. Once we relocated we did find the cache quickly... Now I understand the cache name!! I did groan when we found it.

Most logs today were signed as the group, Geo Six to save space on the log sheets.
With previous finders for this one, and they had forgotten where they had found it, lucky a couple of us had the eye firmly on the prize

Heading out for a day of caching in a bid to hit a personal goal.
Next up on the list was this one. I had previously intended to grab this one, but had run out of daylight and time. Recalling advice from a geofriend that this one should be done in daylight, today was the day.
Approaching the area with geohubby, I made a quick decision to ignore instructions to approach from the bottom due to not wanting to slip and slide over all the ground cover and being slightly hesitant to encounter what might be in there.
So, cautiously walking up and over, I slowly made my way down into the GZ. Without too much difficulty I soon sighted the sneaky little cache and had it in hand. Log signed it was time to make my way back out. Unfortunately, a little less stable, I stumbled into a rock, but eventually made my way back out safely. TFTC and bringing me here for the adventure!

Found with Brian the explorer Staunch gang and grandson. Grandson young eye spotted it before we even started looking. The cache as a little bit wet but we were able to sign the log OK. TFTC.
Fangsoki I found your cache Groan on 13/12/2022, 4:05 pm. This is my find 4575 and find # 10 today. Coordinates spot on for a quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
2366 - I dropped by this one on the way home this afternoon. When I walked over the walkway I groaned as I thought of all of the potential hiding spots. But as I got closer to the search zone and hopped from rock to rock, I had a brief look around before I kept moving along as I got closer and closer to ground zero. The coordinates for this one were spot on, which helped searching for it much easier, Found in great condition at 2:18pm. Thanks for placing this one here Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo.
I sure am not inspector gadget so i found a fun way to get to GZ and with a bit of rock hopping i was soon at GZ . i was lucky and spotted the cache on approach. What a great idea for a cache placement which was great fun. Thanks for taking me here and for the fun hide.
Over north-side with hatzoff and umbunda, we tried this little Multi. Caching does take you to some "quirky" places,in that I remember years ago what was actually here. I can even remember obtaining an Education kit for use the the classroom when I was Practice Teaching way back in 1966! And before this park eventually came into existence, the area here was certainly more dangerous than the one now.

Needing a few more with the dangerous area attribute and this one fits in well. I thought i would be here for ever searching but to my surprise it was quickly found but I dropped my pen and had to retrieve it so I could sign the log. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
It’s been a while since we’ve been to this neck of the woods. It’s a lovely sunny day and there are a few folk enjoying the nearby water park.
Cache was a quick find. All good here.
Thank you.

Second cache at the beginning of the rail trail. Shazzar66 and I had planned a Geo-cycle to tick off some more local caches today. Easy find. Log was damp but cache container was still in place considering the recent rain. TFTC
After the Urban rally event I headed over here to look around for this one. There was no one around here today so parking was very easy. I parked up and walked over to where the gps took me, hmm. Then I read the hint, really and then the t rating, ok so maybe it is. I wondered down and around and it took a few minutes but I eventually found the little sucker. Seems the water may have pushed it further back, well let’s hope it was that because it took some playing to get it out of its hide.
I signed the log and replaced all as found, thanks for the placement and the fun I had here today. I then moved onto another hide that was in this area.

A nice easy find this afternoon. Pays read the clue and hold on #5 for this wonderful mother's day. TFTH, TFTC & TFTSF
Our last geocache for our bakery run weekend. The BFG about his body on the line to find this one, and so quickly had the cache in hand.
I’ve been here once before… and walked away empty handed….
It was teamdfl’s comment about stepping back, although precarious, that proved successful… I had spent about 15 minutes though before I stepped back…
Tftc… glad to knock this one off…

Out for a pedal and hunt this morning. It has been a while since I have been around here. This park was not here then. Just enough room to squeeze by the gate with Evie. Balance beam walk to GZ. The GPSr counted down, then back up. I took a step back for a better view and spotted it.
I’ve been to the car park here a few times but have never actually searched for the cache. The first couple of times it started raining and I chickened out. The next time I’d just found the best parking spot ever when I received a call that I was needed elsewhere immediately.
Today I was determined to at least get to GZ and have a look.
As I left home it started to rain (typical!) but by the time I arrived near GZ, it was turning into a sunny day.
Eyeing the zone I wondered how I’d do this, but I got to the right spot pretty quickly which is surprising for me - I’m usually all sorts of awkward!
The hint helped immensely and it wasn’t too long before I spotted the cache and popped my name on the log. Yay!
Thanks for the cache, Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo

Okay, this took me a little while to figure out what the clue meant - but that sure helped. Still a tricky find, but the log now has my squiggle on it.
Log is damp though, so had to take care to put it back in a way that will try to keep it dry.
Thanks for the cache.

The best thing about finishing work before dark is that you can go caching. Today Muggle65 and l decided to go out for this one. Once at GZ l did groan. This could take a while. Thankfully it didn't take too long. Great hide! Thank you for this fun cache
A quick play at the park after school for the kids gave me and the eldest son to go and have a look around for this one. Searched on the wrong side for a bit before adjusting our search area. Notices something that was not usual and made the find. Retrieving was fun while my son took photos from afar just for laughs. Log signed and returned as found. A great hide and a bit of fun for a Monday arvo. TFTC gang.
Today, jesswrigley and started the day with a Mount Coot-tha geocaching event, followed by a mountain bike ride through Gap Creek Reserve. After a few steep descents and ascents and across rocky terrain, we were back at our car just before lunch. On our way home, we made a stop at Toowong Cemetery to complete the *Brisbane General Cemetery* Adventure Lab.
In the afternoon, I headed out with georode to complete a few challenge caches in Petrie, which included an enjoyable ropes adventure.
This geocache's higher difficulty and terrain ratings did nearly scare me off this area in visiting this evening, but I figured I would give it a go nevertheless. Upon arrival, the hint and past logs made sense to what I needed to do, and so I took the appropriate approach, and as it turned out, I actually found this cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I think the cache container was sticking out slightly, so I made sure to place back a little better. There were a few mosquitoes just starting to wake up and approach me also, which made them the most annoyance. So otherwise, only a minor groan from me! Thanks Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

The whole reason we decided to even leave the house today was to check out the Playspace. We had heard a bit about it and wanted to scope the facilities. Our kids are now old and busted so we have no need to take them anywhere but we often babysit our young niece and need to have an arsenal of places up our sleeve to distract her.
So the place got a big tick and after hanging out for some lunch and watching some old people thinking they were young people playing cricket we headed over to the cache.
The terrain told us we had to go down there but the hanging onto the fence whilst stepping on rocks meant it was a one person job. My wife stayed up top reading old logs while I thought I would miss the next election while I searched. Luckily it didn’t take too long (last words) and the hide was uncovered. tftc

After attending this location multiple times. We went back today with some friends to finally get that Yellow SMILEY!

I had heard about this geocache and where it was hidden. I truly don't mind a rock wall geocache at all. Maybe my experience with The Wailing Wall in Gladstone early in my geocaching career shaped my thoughts here in a big way. And always, I figure the geocache in a rock wall can't be as hard as that long search up in Gladstone.
Today after some misadventures involving a tow truck, I was back in civilisation with the Cache Owners, and wound up visiting this park again - may as well find the new geocaches while I am here. While they both struggled to find a carpark on this horrendously hot day, I bailed out and walked to GZ. Thankfully, it is well out of the way *and* view of muggles swarming the place.
As I got close, I checked out where I needed to be and descended down out of view of the world to search in peace. No rocks underfoot moved for me, and I was able to freely search along several metres for what I expected to find. No joy. But then on my second pass, I noticed something out of place and it lead to a quick find.
Naturally, I could have made this quicker had I read the description in full *first*. But I signed the logbook, replaced as found and trotted back up to get back in the car. Nice - I liked this placement. Brings me to a good park and an interesting geocache hide too. Thanks for that, Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo

Out on a geocache spree with geopup this afternoon, I stopped by this wonderful new park to have a wander around. This is a very busy spot, luckily everybody was 'over there' so I had the place to myself.
After a bit of a recon mission and a quick check of the hint, I figured out where I needed to be and quite quickly had the cache in hand. Very cool hide.
Thanks 1MinnieMoo and Fangsoki for the cache.

I couldn't find a car park close to this cache so I kept driving until I found one and then found I was closer to the other cache in the area so i found it first. By the time I returned to the car there was a steady stream of people heading back to their cars. ( The approaching storm probably had something to do with that).
I drove back and found a park within 75m of this cache and then took the rough route to the search area. When I saw the terrain of the location memories came back of another similar hide that haunts my dreams.
However for this one I managed to get there with my feet dry and it didn't take long to spot the hide. The return trip was also uneventful and I gave a bit of a Whoopee on emerging.

Find #2334 at 17:55 after wandering across from the other newish cache nearby.
Groan, indeed, but I stumbled upon it quickly. This one could have resulted in much more interesting sound effects than just a groan or two.
Busy park this evening, but nobody paid any attention to me over here.

Last day of the year, and I am up early to play ... and .... oh no! I really did groan on approach to this one. I still twitch at night after a similar (albeit larger) hiding space up north that this CO should know only so well - and to inflict a recurrence on me unsuspecting like? Grrrr. I approached to the right angle, and set about patiently searching every nook. Every cranny. Every strand, every spiderweb and every twig or blade of grass that had been caught up in case it was a tether. Summer came and went. The wet season arrived. And left again. An ice age occurred and a new civilisation of intelligent lobsters rose up before being destroyed by a race of inter-galactic chefs which turned out to be suprisingly human like. Until finally I spotted the darn thing. Name in log, returned where found (why be nastier to the next schlob).
My apologies to the CO's mother for all the nasty things I just called her. No apologies to the CO - he deserved it.
Thanks Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo for entertaining me at this location.

What an apt name for this cache hide. When I saw where the arrow was pointing, that’s exactly what I did, but the hide wasn’t as bad as I had originally envisioned. A wobbly walk across to GZ where I actually spotted the cache before the tether. Signed the log, replaced the cache and returned to the car to start this morning’s bike ride to Kippa-Ring. TFTC Fangsoki
After climbing a tree to avenge a DNF, I headed over this way with the company of Mrs Slow Puncture to find these two new caches. No issues finding these - though I regret my choice of footwear (thongs) as a few of the rocks were a bit loose underfoot.
This is an incredibly popular park and I can see why! We arrived not long after 7.30, and by 8 am people were struggling to find a park. The sun was biting and I was really thankful for the coffee van selling iced coffee - bliss!
Thanks for taking me here! Merry Christmas to you both.

After a morning paddle & restorative chocolate frappe Mrs SP, ruzzelz, La Kedi & I headed off to grab a couple of nearby caches. This is a very popular area but we managed to find a fairly close park & headed over. Mrs SP led the way with ruzzelz directing from above as he'd spotted a likely looking spot. A passing car gave us a yell of encouragement & knew exactly what we were doing!

After a kayaking event nearby, and a fortifying coffee, a small group of us decided to collect a couple of nearby caches, this being the first. The area is newly developed and exceedingly popular, but we managed to find parking spots and headed for GZ. A group effort proved successful with ruzzelz spotting the tether from above and directing those of us below to retrieve it. Quite a tricky hide, and we were glad it hadn't been raining!!

On our way home from a fun day of caching, Brislions and I headed to this one. We parked nearby and headed to GZ. My caching buddy thought he could make a quick find, but that was not to be, so I made my way to the right terrain. A methodical search by torchlight revealed the cache before long. We added our names to the log and returned the cache as found before we headed home. TFTC

I stayed dry( unlike some others) and directed traffic to the tether I had spied from my observation point.
As we were seeking the cache a car drove past with the occupants yelling out about whether we were seeking the cache. Hi to the unknown cachers
You can see the river from here and I suspect you could dock the kayaks and walk in to do these if you are paddling past [?]

Saturday. After a coffee with those left after the nearby Ruzzelz event, we decided to collect some nearby caches and this was the first of two collected in this newly developed area. Gosh, I remember way back when, when this area was a paper mill and at times, used to emit some weird smells and breed mozzies by the millions. Those days were long gone, and now this is a brand spanking new area alive with lots of kids playing and the inevitable trouble of trying to navigate traffic and parking spots (well, it is school holidays I guess). Beaut area. We headed in and since I didn’t have my phone with me, I was guided by everyone else in our small group (Ruzzelz flotilla) as to where to look. Ruzzelz spotted the tether and from there it was a quick pull, sign and replace Still can’t believe how this area has changed!
This was the 2nd of 5 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***Fangsoki*** for showing us this place

A little family adventure, especially when we're all wearing pluggers! Kicking them off was a must for the final pursuit. One kid stubbed a toe and we lost another to a wobbly rock but he was too damaged or wet
Such fun though. Teach em to be tough. A favourite for us for the laughs. Thanks.

After 3 days of Christmas celebrations we went out for caching.

Ooh a new cache not far from home, what a treat! Appropriate name, it's the sound often emitted when confronted with such a cache hide
The kids have been here to the park with Mrs OC and friends a few times and quite enjoy the park though it's a bit too popular at times, it's the worlds worst kept secret! With COVID starting to rear it's ugly head up I wonder how long until places like this have to shut again, they're very good places for close contact disease transmission unfortunately.
No crowds at GZ though. After approaching from a couple of different angles, I spotted something sus, and there it was! Left my stamp before moving along.

Thanks Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo for giving us a reason to visit.

As soon as I arrived back home from picking my partner up from the train station my phone starting going off, new caches maybe, indeed! I noticed they were fairly close by, but one I wasn't able to get to, so we'll scrap that one and go for the other two. I told the missus I'm heading out quickly to grab a couple of new caches. I saw where they were placed and got a little excited as I've wanted to visit this place since I've seen it all over Facebook lately.
After a short drive I finally arrived and wandered down to grab this cache first, I had a quick look around and didn't see any familiar cars, as I got closer I had another look around, still nothing. I saw where I needed to go and carefully made my way there. After a few nervous wobbles I made it to GZ, luckily GZ is out of sight, so I can take my time, however time wasn't needed as the cache was quickly spotted, now the moment of truth am I the first?
Indeed I am, woohoo!!! With a quick sign of the log, the cache was replaced as found. Thank you for bringing me here and for placing the cache at this wonderful place. I'll return sometime in the future to have a more thorough look.
