With Gap (of Fap and Gap) Were here for Geo Toroa (Dunedin Mega). Between flight cancellations and re-routing, things could only get better, right? But wait, theres more! Somewhere on our caching escapades, I dropped my wallet Its still at large, so if anyone finds itOne of us usually drives, the other is the retriever. That works for us. Weve either logged caches with our separate handles, or weve used FANGS to sign the logbook. Using the latter handle is more for mental health and well being. Its tiring having to write 15 + characters on each logbookWeve experienced some of the most atrocious caching weather conditions this Mega weekend. So it was a bit of a bitter pill to swallow when the day dawned clear and bright Up early to pack our wet, muddy clothes and give the room and hire vehicle a quick spruce, and then we were out the door! Let the mad dash to the airport beginTrying to weave our way southward toward the airport, we spotted this nearby challenge cache - Challenge accepted:[squirrel nutcase](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=squirrel%20nutcase) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCA7N4X/77109 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did. Some lazy Monday caching as I decide when I'll point the car towards Christchurch, which is home. Sweeping up some solved puzzles and a couple of others that I'm driving past.

28-Oct-24
When I arrived, one cacher was already there looking perplexed. I looked in some of the same places, and with my high-intensity flashlight, but nothing. Soon, another car pulled up with two more cachers. GZ was scoured carefully, but the cache was not found until the search was expanded a bit.Now we know what the second part of the hint means. TFTC.

Annoyingly I had to miss the MEGA Cito due to travel issues but thankfully I still qualified for this challenge. I ended up nearby after solving a multi (but deciding the terrain was a bit too much for me today with my current injury and the rain). There was clear evidence of the recent rain and I walked through several streams of water. I was so confused by the hint and couldn't figure out what I was missing. It all made sense when I found it, haha very clever. Carefully walked back to my car without slipping over and it was here I was really wondering just how crazy we are us geocachers??!! I was already pretty wet and my socks and shoes had no hope of drying out. Fav point awarded for the clever container.

Outnabout with Chamad, Snickersallan, Ardom, Bluewattle, Gcoven & BenM70 on my first ever trip across the ditch. Log signed as QLD+1 to save some space. After a week of caching around Brisbane and at events last month with other Geo friends, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to hop on board for a NZ Mega adventure. Another great day for caching. ?? Day four of the GeoToroa Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune and our better halves. After a couple of nights in Queenstown, arrived in Dunedin yesterday for the Mega weekend. Today started with the Mega Opening Event and a nearby LBH before we hit the road with McLookers and feathertop for the Aeroplane series, followed by some challenge caches as well as a few in the Albatross series along the way as well. The weather was not kind with steady rain as well as the occasional heavy shower as we made our way around some interesting terrain, including some quite wet, steep and slippery dirt roads.Signed the log for this cache and will claim a find once I can confirm that I qualify for the challenge.TFTC Natalie247 Smile
