Quick and easy find. Log signed.Day 4 of our 4 day anniversary road trip to Maryborough and out West. Lots of adventure to be had with my love SCAHPA. Log signed as CS & SC to save time and room - Trademark skeleton animals sticker left in cache - TFTC, effort time and maintenance
After spending the night in town and dining out at the local pub it was time to get out and do colorectal the local area. I am working on a local challenge at home that requires cache numbers in Local government areas and so I need another 80 or so in the Gympie area. This area is rich with caches so off I go. Arriving at ground zero I found a safe place to park the geowagon and off I go. I quickly found ground zero and located the cache. After extracting the log and making my mark I quickly returned to the geo wagon in search of my next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Last Easter, Seffnjarah and I road tripped our way south to Armidale and surrounds, camping, caching and hiking along the way. I had planned a similar trip this Easter to Maryborough and then west to Mt Walsh and was joined at the last minute again by Seffnjarah.
First order of business this morning was to climb Mt Walsh. After a successful mission, we visited Biggenden, where we collected the Adlab cache and I managed to secure a most excellent steak burger from the cafe in town. After collecting a few local Biggenden caches, we are now wandering south collecting a mix of interesting and unloved caches, including this one.
We replaced a smashed container here. TFTC

When other family arrangement for the Easter break fell through, I was lucky to score a ride with Crookedpete for an extended weekend geocaching road trip from Brisbane to around Maryborough, Hervey Bay, Mt Walsh and surrounding areas.
After making it up to the summit of Mt Walsh and back in about 3hrs this morning, that left plenty of time in the day to continue picking up some more caches on our extensive to-do list for the weekend. But first Crookedpete decided he he needed a burger to refuel his body after the strenuous walk and we headed to Biggenden to see what we could find. Surprisingly we managed to find a take away open on Easter Sunday. With Crookedpete's hunger sated, we ventured on to find some local caches before beginning the run south towards home, passing this cache along the way.
Some recent tree fall has appeared to have fallen directly on to GZ, leaving the cache container crushed within the pile of rocks where it was hidden (see attached). Although the logbook inside was still serviceable, the container was no able to be salvaged. Instead I replaced it with a spare container I was carrying and hid it in an obvious and more secure location close by GZ.
The logbook was stamped with The Bromance team stamp (a slight liberty, with only 2 of the usual 4 members present on this trip, but we are hoping to avoid RSI with the number of caches planned on our itinerary ). TFTC

Cache and log are both in good condition.
Out for a drive on this section of road we have not had the opportunity to get to before.
Beautiful day for it too.
The creek is looking clear and running creek is living up to its name

A friend mentioned making the Townsville Mega a milestone cache… I hadn’t even thought about it, but what’s a couple of hundred caches between friends…Hence the reason TMZ59, Patrol14 and I are hitting Kilkivan and surrounds…
It was hard to miss this GZ… tftc…

Found cache and signed log. Returned cache as found. Getting a few caches to try and get a milestone whilst in the Ville. Out with patrol14 and Peppa. TFTC.
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds.
Just a bit of caching on New Year's Day.
Not a bad spot for a cache.

1/1/2022 After going to the event at Widgee. Did some caching with some other cachers. Decided to finish some of these other caches off while in the area. Thanks Youngoldfella for the caches.
TFTC. We are attending the Mid Year event at Kilkivan this weekend. Along with the new Caches placed for the event we spent the day finding some of the older caches on the area as we passed by. A great day out with 30 finds for the day.
Time to get back down to business, hit the road & rack up some more smilies to spread warmth & happiness throughout the land.
Knocking up the numbers doesn't hurt either!
Kilkivan & surrounds were our target areas this run.
Day #2.
#50 of 55 smilies today.
A quick find.
I think the cows have been playing soccer with the cache container as it was a little way off it's obvious lair.
Made our mark & replaced in the obvious spot..

We are now camped at the Kilkiven Rest area. A big weekend in town with the annual horse ride event on. A street parade of all sorts of horses & riders was part of our couple of days here.
We spent many klms driving the country roads, the farmers have to be happy with the acres of green grass in the paddocks.
We found a good variety of caches in a variety of locations.
Thankyou youngoldfella for placing this cache.

Hi there youngoldfella.
We found your cache **"Gully View"** today. (This makes our find count 25610).
Back to start some more cache trails from Kilkivan. Today's plan was to head north up Running Creek Road and then continue on to Brooweena - Woolooga Road
It was a really nice drive today, made even better by not having to wade through long grass to find the caches. Our tally today was 44 caches & 0 DNF's.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache within a few metres of where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Either a smiley badge or a gold coin
Thank you for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Today we are back at Kilkivan doing a couple of our favourite pastimes, cycling and geocaching, heading along Running Creek Road for the series of caches placed there. Although it turned out a hot ride we manage to find all the caches . Thanks youngoldfella for the cache.
Another nice drive around this area picking up some caches and this is one we found. A lovely drive down this country road. Log signed and returned as found. Thanks Youngoldfella for showing us this place.
Staying at Goomeri for a few days to catch up on all the caches that have been released in the area since we were last here. This one didn't take a lot of finding as it was out in the open - signed log and replaced how it should have been. TFTC youngoldfella
In town this morning for coffee and then decided to head out along this road for a country drive. Good coords and most caches were found easily enough and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Dianne (doscrapbooking), my daughter and I decided to cache together today, starting off on Tansey Rd, then north to Booubyjan, northeast to Teebar and finally south back to Kilkivan.
Unfortunately we didn't find any first to finds, they had all gone by the time we arrived at all cachers.
All finds were in good condition and were replaced as found.

Caching with my main squeeze, Oddiewan and our new little geopup. We have Liz and Bruce in the geomobile with us today. Oddiewan has his eyes on a new milestone so it’s a long day of caching ahead. A really neat spot caching has brought us to.
Thanks for the fun, youngoldfella

In Kilkivan for the New Year event, a great opportunity to catch up with caching buddies and meet some new faces.
After setting up at the showgrounds CHAMAD and myself jumped into Ms Maddy's super comfy car and headed out to find some newly published caches along with some tried and true oldies.
A great day spent out and about, enjoying the beautiful country side.
The cache was quickly spotted, log signed and all replaced as found.

After an early morning sunrise event it was a drive up to Kilkivan for a weekend event. This is my first event of this type so I am not sure what to expect but I’ve been told they are fun and educational, ok. Today’s kick off was 10am so this gave me a few hours to drive up and get a little caching in before the event started for me.
At the event I teamed up with Willis007 and Ms maddy (who drove) to spend the afternoon collecting a few caches and a few first to finds. Armed with a list and some new coordinates we set off for the afternoon of caching. We had a plan of attack in mind and it turned out to be a good afternoon of caching with a variety of cache sizes, hides and ratings; thank you to the CO’s for the placements of these. Sorry for the generic post for this lot but we did approximately 90 caches around the area.
There were no DNF’s and all caches were found in good order and in close proximity to the given coordinates and or hints. I enjoyed today's caching, thank you.

You know what they say about cows...they're outstanding in their field! Lots of cows around this cache. Zelda the WoofyWanderer likes to poke her head out the window whenever we say "moo moos" so she was most excited to see them up close. TFTC

Thanks for organising and putting out caches.
