Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Due to me moving to Auckland and getting a new job in a high-stress environment I won’t be able to maintain this cache to the degree I’d like. I also won’t be able to maintain this Geocachjng account and the associated caches, so I thought it would be better to disable this cache than have it go missing and yet disabled by Geocaching Admins.
Thank you so much to everybody who has helped me through my adventures, and I hope to be able to come back one day. ️

What a cool hide! The occupants of the cars passing by where probably wondering what I was doing there sitting and smiling in the cold wind. I must have lost my marbles but found a cache! TFTC!!

Only four bars that didn’t have caps on them. Checked all four with tweezers and eyes. Could t see anything.

Apparently it’s there? Last time I checked it wasn’t, checked both sides of the bench with a pair of long tweezers. That’s odd. Anyways, it’s back!

I didn't realise this was disabled until I mentioned at the event over the road that I was off to look for it. One of the other attendees had told the others that it was still there and that info was relayed to me. Cheers to all involved. So I crossed over and found the cache in perfect condition just as described so I'm unsure why it is disabled. TFTC # 17,884

A nice quick find thanks. However it took ages to retrieve, with nothing to grip. I took 2 trips back to the car for some tott and finally managed to get the blighter. I left the loop so that the next finder will have any easier time. Cheers.

Ms_KR and I are on the west coast, to complete the PWGT GeoTour this weekend, with only 0 to go. Yahoo!! Another glorious day today, fine weather for most of the caching time but a little rain too. TIme to head home now.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Seen a kotuku at the park over the road before coming here. Sad. I recall coming to the coast the day after the nine disaster. I was at the Bruner site exploring and the helicopters were flying back and forth

Smile Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I are on a bit of a Christmas Roadtrip from Auckland to Ingill & back ... we'll be doing a few geocaches on our travels ... this being the 121st cache of hopefully many ... we had been spent Christmas in Invercargill & were now heading back to Auckland, taking the scenic route ... we were now heading North, doing caches as we go ... quiet place for peaceful reflection on one of NZ's tragic times ... good to add another 'smiley face' to the tally ... TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #1,855 for us.

Found with NZDi. We are staying at Carters Beach Holiday Camp as a base for a few days geocaching on the Wet Coast. Todays plan is to head to Greymouth picking up as many roadside PnGs as we can, with a few more interesting excursions thrown into the mix.

This is our thirty-ninth cache of the day, and although it has been almost two weeks since we found it, I see UlmusLynx visited after us. It was interesting to read the logs and notice maitahisteve had claimed the FTF despite G7&M finding it two days earlier.

The cache did not present any trouble retrieving so thanks to the previous CO who must have left it in an accessible place when they did their maintenance visit.

We had found this cache yesterday but were unable to retrieve it so today we returned with something to help with that. I hadn't noticed the nearby feature before when passing but am sure I will now everytime.
Thank you SleeperCache.

This was first on the list yesterday but although the cache was faintly visible it needed some special tools to retrieve. Although we carry some weird stuff in the car nothing suitable was among it. So this morning we returned with a nifty no8 wire solution and soon had the cache in hand. We made a small mod and it should now be true to its D/T. Thank you SleeperCache

I noticed this cache today and we usually leave local caches until we need them but when Mum got home we decided to have a look on the way to some errands in town. We knew the area and with a very good hint we didnt even bother to take the GPS. The cache was very quickly spotted but it took alot longer to extract it from its hiding position and might need something to aid the retrieval - perhaps even just the original ring put back so it has something for your pen to grip. Thanks for the cache. Smile
