Not too many days to go now until the end of an unmemorable year. Hoping for better times. Nice evening to e-bike my way to the event from Punga and Paua's place, just a few km. FMZ did so too, then we waited for the pizzas to arrive, we had chipped in for that and the food was delicious. Nice to meet other cachers this evening.

Walked to the event from nearby accommodation, along the river, watched a few anglers trying to catch a big one.

Yummy pizza on offer, and got to catch up with some local and not so local cachers.

Punga and Paua

Arrived a little late, delivering the hot pizzas to the hungry kayakers, and enjoyed meeting up and chatting with some other geocaching faces while soaking up the last rays of sunshine on a chilly summer evening and have to admit that we actually lit a fire when we got home. Thanks to FMZ for organizing this "get together" event in our little town. And a big thankyou for the lovely surprise geocoin celebrating 20 years of geocaching. Its hard to believe we've been playing this game for 14½ of those 20 years, a bit slower these days but still enjoy it. Big Grin
