Have replaced this one... again. Have changed its hiding spot, spoiler pic attached.

20-Oct-24
Went and had a look for this one as its very close to home! Have been challenging myself with more mystery/puzzle caches. Unfortunately the onlyContainer I found was a sharps disposable container. Definitely followed the attributes and got the feet wet. Worried the cache might be out on Nudgee beach now

07-Oct-24
Out on a very warm day geocaching with Legend and Sniggypop to try to find the rest of the drum caches that we solved earlier this year. Four of us searched for a long time with no success today.

06-May-24
Found the cache just in time to shelter from a brief shower, taking advantage of the local shelter provided.

17-Mar-24
yay some more drums turned into smiles very cool spot

17-Mar-24
Found my three caches for the day, but Barb still needs some, so decided to attack some of the solved drums.Started looking in the wrong spot at first and then a light bulb moment. Found safely tucked away.TFTC

This was a pretty difficult tune to recognise and several technology devices failed me on this one. But eventually I found one that could identify the song and point me in the right direction.I needed a wading cache today so I drove all the way across town just to look for this one. On the way it started to rain quite heavily and I realised that I did not have an umbrella with me. Just as I pulled up nearby the rain started to ease off so I decided to go for it while I could. A nice short walk in the light rain and given the attribute I had a good idea where this one would be. As I stood there signing the log, the runoff from the earlier rain began pooling around my feet so I quickly returned the cache and scurried back to the car as the rain began to get heavy again. If I had come any later than I did today I probably would have needed to wade to the cache. Thanks Willis007 for the great variety of cache hides!

Ive looked for this one before unsuccessfully but re-read the description recently and had a brain wave. Quick find today. Another Drum Beat series TFTC

This *Drum Beat* series geocache was previously solved back in 2021. An online tool helped to identify this memorable song and consequent iconic drummer.

Today, I joined ruzzelz for a kayak paddle along Burpengary Creek, targeting the recently published *Bird Sanctuary* puzzle caches, and other interesting geocaches. An enjoyable paddle adventure with a few terrific creek sections, although it was longer than we had anticipated.
As the rain drizzle started to fall, I visited a few other geocaches in the area, including the *Moore Road* trail series, before then heading west to Burpengary for a late lunch, where I also completed the [Points of interest in Burpengary](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/655391cd-4c30-407b-85ba-350e98fe280c) Adventure Lab. By this time, with increasing rain intensity, I travelled back home, and with a small weather window, I took a few final stops in Chermside and Stafford Heights.

I ended up spending far too long at the wrong level at this location, with my thought process as "surely not" upon the approach of the other level. Admitting defeat having made my tenth pass, I scanned a few logs and realised a past log had pointed out the attributes... so there you go. So a change in tactics, and I then made the quick cache find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Willis007 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

28/1/2023 Find #5658
Out to beat a spot of boredom on a warm Sat arvo before needing to collect 1GiantPanda from work locally at 6pm. I opted for some more close to home/his work Dum Beat caches and a bit of a walk to get up a few steps. Unfortunately I couldn’t get near the first cache I parked at, as a family was having a BBQ picnic right opposite, and there was far too much interest in the water here. So I decided to skip it and continue on my way around, hoping maybe, just maybe, they may have moved on by the time I had completed my journey.
I did wonder which level to be on here at first. On my second attempt at the right level I found what I was after tucked away safely.
Thanks for the cache Willis007.

21-Nov-22
This puzzle was tricky and it was a band/song I’ve never heard of but got there eventually. At gz, I looked in one area then spotted the cache when I moved across a bit. Not too much water after yesterday’s rain. Tftc

11-Nov-22
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.

After a morning of retail therapy including some caching supplies it was time to get outside and find some of the puzzles on my solved list. Make sure you check the attributes on this cache. TFTC

Checked on this one today, still in place.

Had a few passes before I located the little blighter. Almost ready to give up.

Very happy to turn this yellow

10-Apr-22
Maintenance run today. This one was missing and has been replaced

14-Feb-22
While in the area with a bit of time to spare I checked what nearby caches were around.
This one was there so I headed over.
The GPS was spot on but at the wrong elevation.
Once I relised my error I headed to the search area and soon had the cache in hand.

13-Feb-22
Parked in a side street and made my way to gz to find another in this awesome series. Had already looked at the cache details and attributes so knew where to head. A quick find on arrival. Signed and replaced cache and headed home. TFTC. Loving the series.

09-Feb-22
I felt a little self conscious searching at first until I read a log referring to the attributes. Ah ha now I had more of an idea where I needed to be. A little adjustment & pacing back & forth & then I had it. TFTC

27-Nov-21
Took a little longer than i would have hoped but nabbed it. Thanks Willis007

21-Nov-21
I have enjoyed doing the puzzles on this series, I didn’t have time to collect them all today so just grabbed a few. Once I checked the attributes I realised the level I needed to be on and then soon found the cache. All good here, tftc Willis007

26-Sep-21
We parked in the nearby side street and I said it must be in this spot.. but Gunnie was not as convinced and chose another option and different elevation to me. As I turned to venture towards him, he was on his way back to me after spotting the container and signing the log. Good thing it was dry over there! TFTC

26-Sep-21
NurseyJulie shot off in a particular direction as we approached GZ, convinced she knew where the cache would be. Monitoring the arrow on the GPS, I was not as convinced and strayed along my chosen path to try a couple of different areas. [^]

With us both empty handed, I noted where I was standing and what options were around, then adjusted my position ever so slightly and quickly spotted a tell tale sign that revealed the cache. Aha, nicely done. Big Grin

Mark left in the log, the cache was returned and I reappeared to let NJ know the find was had.

Cheers Willis007.

07-Sep-21
While the kiddo is napping, I took this opportunity to collect a smile on home ground. A quick 200m stroll to GZ and had this cache in hand within the minute. No wading required
Lots of water dragons out, almost stepped on one sunning himself on the grass.
Timing was perfect. Not quite school out time so no muggles to hamper my mission.
Found in good condition, signed my name, returned as found and another smile collected.
Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC

24-Aug-21
I’d never heard of this guy before this puzzle series, but it’s a good name to know.
This walk was short but interesting. At the GZ, I walked straight past it, and had to work my way all the way back, one by one. There is stacks of broken glass around just at the moment, which was a little distracting.
TFTC and more steps in my day.

23-Aug-21
Couldn’t figure it out
Look at attribute click
Found it
Thank you

Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, Willis007

Another good puzzle although it took me a while to find the answer. At GZ, Jodsta83 made the grab after spotting it quickly. No wading required today. TFTPC!

Nice simple find by jodsta83.

22-Aug-21
Out with krcamber, swearah and Stephyy for day 2 of grabbing some drums.
We have been collectively solving these ones and today is the day to put some smileys on the map.
Luckily there was no wading required today and we spotted this one nice and quick.

Thanks for the puzzle and cache, Willis007

After much deliberation about where this might be hiding, we had to re think out strategy, good thing we turned cause that's where it ended up being. Wink

24-Jul-21
Out with Geocaching friends to do a little Drumming and pick up the odd other cache along the way. Cache found, log signed by all and then replaced as found. TFTC

24-Jul-21
Catching up on some signed caches I had actually forgotten to log! The group we were caching with reminded me of my omission. Thanks guys!!

TFTC, Willis007. Sorry for the generic and rather simple log. It rather belies the enjoyment of both doing the puzzles and making the finds in great company. Cheers.

Out today with Selva Girls to pick up the last of the Drum Beat. Plenty of walking, a bit of tree climbing and some tree fishing. There were some good hides along the way and some rather sneaky ones.

I have been very slowly working my way through these fun puzzles and today i was not far away from this solved puzzle and picked it to fulfill my challenge to myself of finding one cache a day . Today is 110 days in a row. I found a park not far away and because i studied up before i left home today i observed the attribute that led me to a place where there were not too many places to look and it was not long before i spotted this cache. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy and the fun puzzles.

04-Jul-21
Out caching with Muggle65 and The Green Geckos grabbing more of the Drum geoart. After logging all these. That should be the last one. Another geoart finish.
I did love that series with solving and finding.

Today count was 14 finds, the breakdown is multi, traditional and 12 mystery.

Sorry for the generic log

I was looking in the wrong place until I read a couple of logs and got an idea. Thanks for the cache

02-Jun-21
A second visit to this one as last time I made an assumption about where GZ was and seeing as it is a very public spot to search late afternoon, I decided to come back under cover of darkness!

I parked nearby just after 5pm, and bided my time until it was almost dark, then headed around to GZ. However, I suddenly realised that my phone was pointing in a slightly different area, and a check of the cache page showed that was a much better spot to search [^] Geez! If I had done a better job the first time I'd have worked that out!!!

Sure enough once in the right area, the cache was in the first spot I looked Razz TFTC, Willis007.

It’s good to see the footpaths in town getting some use. Judging by the amount of runners we crossed paths with, they all must have had some pent up rage by not jogging for a couple of days with the rain.

In fact some of the runners were pounding the pavement that hard that I thought it would crack.

When we got close we spied a lizard just sunning itself on a rock. We expected it to sliver away but it didn’t care one iota how close we got. My wife wanted to see if I could pat it or at least sit beside it for a photo. I told her that even snakes with four legs are still serpents. tftc

Continuing on this wonderful puzzle trail. Dry feet and a quick find. What a variety of hides. Thanks Willis007 for arranging and hiding Smile

24-Apr-21
After hitting a nearby high, plummeted to a low in collecting this one. Luckily the overflow was non existent and the slithering wildlife were away for the long weekend. This was the last find of the day with many more music lessons still to be planned. Cheers Willis007 for an entertaining series.

24-Apr-21
I noticed the something out of the ordinary and quickly had the teeny cache in hand. Great hide! Fave point

We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today was the 2nd day to finish off the drum series, the puzzles had been completed prior to leaving. home. So much information learnt about drummers & drumming.
This series today we spent about half & half of the time bike riding & by car. The bike riding was by far the most enjoyable.
Thankyou Willis007 for placing this cache.

Found at 12:59 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
We guessed where this was going to be based on the T rating and we were spot on.
That's the end of this section. Now to move onto the next.

Thanks Willis007

16-Apr-21
Today we looked for some more of the Drum Beat caches.
This one we found easily.
TFTC

13-Apr-21
After grabbing another Drum Beat cache nearby I decided to carry on down the path to this one. I was a little hesitant on grabbing it because the map shows the cache on the edge of a busy road and those types of hides I usually struggle with thanks to passing muggles. I was within 100 meters of GZ and felt somewhat relieved at what I saw, It was close to the road, but out of sight of passing cars. Hmm, this looks like an experience I had not so long ago, although not as scary, Yes Willis007, you may know what I mean. After a quick back n forth and a look here and there I spotted something at the corner of my eye, I went in for a closer inspection and the cache was in hand, Yipee!

Thanks again Willis007.

My husband was on fire with these puzzles. At GZ I searched the wrong location. Always pays to have a good look at the app and then I noticed the attributes. Then it was a quick easy find. TFTC and puzzle Willis007

A team effort to solve all the caches in this series in preparation for burgo78 visiting the big smoke.
Loaded the bikes this morning and set out to log the series by car and bike.
Met some friendly muggles, saw wallabies and a turtle, rode bikes in the mud, and through fast-flowing creeks.
Easy tree climbs and some hard-to-find ones.
Wet feet and shoes all day due to plenty of water in many parks.
The Kedron brook was flowing quickly, would have been an adrenaline-packed paddle today.

Thank you Willis007 for this series and my apologies for the copy-paste logs

Out with Karicka targeting the Drums series today. On the bikes for most and the car for the rest.

Once we checked the attributes and found the correct level it was an easy find.
Logs signed as BK.

Thanks Willis007 for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Friday. Mr SP managed to find a parking spot fairly close to GZ for us today and we headed in. We had a chuckle at the flood gauges – who would be going anywhere near them if you could see water? In any event, the cache was very quickly spotted by Mr SP and I added our names to the log book for an additional smiley for us today.

This was the 9th of 15 caches found on this outing.

Thanks ***Willis007*** for showing us this place Razz

Luckily the water had receded enough that no wading was required to locate this cache . Everything safe and dry. TFTC

After 4000+ cache finds I have finally learned to read the description and attributes before starting my hunt and in this case that proved to be a wise move. Cache was nice and dry even after all the rains we’ve been having. TFTC Willis007

This morning Team Tyrrell and I went for a bike ride to collect more of the new drum series. We had good fun and made good progress finding the caches.

Thanks for this enjoyable series and the variety of puzzles and hides!

01-Mar-21
Out and about again with Georode to finish off the drum series. This will be our 2nd day on the geo bikes covering just over 40 km's today ( 80km in total over 2 days of cycling from home.)

I have enjoyed the challenge of solving the various puzzles thrown up by Willis007. Most of them i was able to punch my way through by myself, however a few i needed a kick in the right direction.

Today we had the relevant TOTT to collect the harder to reach caches. I feel like i pushed my way through a hundred spider webs whilst crawling in and around the trees and i must have been bitten at least 10 times by the mozzies but i loved it.

Tanks Lisa for a great series and and extra big thanks for putting it so close to my home Smile
Love your work.

24-Feb-21
Another nice listening puzzle. We like those, since as musicians, we spend so much of our days listening. In this case it helped to have a couple of websites we could access to find tune our listening skills for this puzzle.
I know this one has a wading attribute, however, I don’t recall any feet getting wet on this particular journey today. With a little search we soon had this sneaky find it sorted. Our names are in the log sheet.
Thanks Willis007. Such a great series, some great places for us to explore and some very good puzzles to solve.

Thanks for the cache and taking us here Willis007. Enjoyed solving the puzzle and finding the cache with Domsky.

Appreciate your time and effort for putting out and maintaining these for our enjoyment.

One line from a previous finder had me change my focus here... and I’d even taken note of it on the way over but that didn’t stop me looking fruitlessly elsewhere first...

Clever use of the environment... tftc...

After a solid wet-week of puzzle cracking I have got all my drums (except one) laid out for attack now. This one sorted with ease and my first Drum pickup went without a hitch. The little details on the cache page added up at GZ to "go there" and spotted straight away. I have long felt I should put one about here ... happy to get a smilie this time. Drum Beaten.

Thanks Willis007 for entertaining me at this location.
Cool *{Overall find #8693}* Cool

17-Feb-21
Working my way through the series as I solve them. I probably will have to revisit the same areas a few times over the next few months.

This was the 3rd of 12 finds of the series for me today.

I parked some distance away and took a stroll along the path to the area and after a preliminary search I decided that I should be looking at a particular area and I soon had the cache in hand.

I’ve noticed a lot of loud noise beating in a rhythmic manner in the neighbourhood lately. In fact, some of the drums are in very close proximity to my house, there is even a drum kit just past the end of my street which to date I have not been able to shift.

I digress, fun Friday meant a bike ride to collect the solved drum beats along with Mrs Slow Puncture. I have a nice little loop planned which enables the collection of a few caches and I meet up with Mrs SP along the way.

After returning Mrs SP back to her car now was the time to venture across some little hills and connect a few dots / caches for the ride home.

This connected another little bike path adventure.

Well that was different. I think I had a fixation on the hide types before the penny dropped.

So many solved puzzles calling to us, even in our sleep, that here we are again for Day 3 collecting Drum Beats & smilies. Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin
We haven't had a really good geoart in a while and this one is certainly getting us back in the game!
Kudos to Willis007 for the effort put in.
#24 of 25 caches found today. Smile

I seem to keep playing this song over and over ...
Another audio puzzle deftly solved by the incredibly talented Mrs VC! Big Grin
This cache was a sneaky little blighter but not quite sneaky enough.
Spent a couple of minutes looking in the wrong spot then the penny dropped and the cache instantly appeared.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Day 2 of this little puzzle geoart series and after spending the night solving more puzzles I had a nice little run. I then received a message from Orange Crew saying he had the morning off. I told him of my plan and to bring his bike. After we both did our Daddy drop off duties, we meet up at the designated point and started our ride. We had a couple of possible FTF’s and a run of caches to collect. It was an awesome morning for a ride, I took the TOTT, just in case we came across a surprise cache, (lucky we did). We collected approximately 20 caches and 2 FTF’s, a great time again with orange crew.

The variety of hides and caches along this track is just fantastic, tree climbs, tree fishing, hanging in trees, and then a couple of surprise ones; you just cannot pick what you are going to get next, well done. With the log signed and cache returned as found, we were off to grab another on our list, thanks for placing these along here.

With the bike ride over it was time to grab a few others given the time before pickup was still 2 hours away. I ducked off not realising the boys in blue were behind me, I got a shake of the head and then they kept going. This was a nice hide took me a couple of minutes for a look at first and then I spied from a distance away, lol.

30-Jan-21
After spending the morning in a tinnie caching with mates and the afternoon at the pool with the family, there was only a very small window to try and solve a few of these fabulous new puzzles and then go find a few. This is one of the only audio ones I didn't immediately recognise, not in my music vocabulary apparently

Last for the evening, it's starting to get a bit late. Was up then down then up and down some more before realising the cache was in a spot I had searched already but just not thoroughly enough with the torch at the right angle. Nicely hidden! Another blank logsheet signed.

Time to head home, will be back when some more have been solved!
