Out on this stinker to do a few more of the drum with ILTW and Legend. This was a relatively easy find. Thanks to ILTW for doing the hard part of this one. TFTC!
Out on a very warm day geocaching with Legend and Sniggypop to try to find the rest of the drum caches that we solved earlier this year. One team mate spotted it and so up I went to stamp the log.
Out for a regular Tuesday session of cashing with dippers we hit drumbeat number whatever this happens to be a cant remember 27 and because Duppers is injured I had to do the climbing today, wasnt that fun. I found your cache, Drum Beat #27 today. This is my 3110 find.Willis007, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Another Drum Beat found. I had solved this one a while ago, but hadn't gone for the find yet. On Tuesday afternoon, Shazzar66 and I met up for our regular Tuesday after work caching get-together. I had created a list of eight or so caches that we both hadn't found. Unfortunately, Shazzar66 hadn't logged some recently found caches...shock, horror, who does that? lol, so this caches made its way onto our list instead of a couple of others. We arrived at GZ, and within a minute or two, we spotted the cache. I'm usually the team 'monkey', but my wings have been clipped, thanks to a broken finger and a way over the top plaster cast, and so Shazzar66 did the climbing honours with this cache, while I stood by and 'supervised'..haha.The log was signed, and everything was put back as found. Thanks, Willis007, for the cache and for the Series, which must have taken a lot of work, but which is continuing to provide enjoyment to the caching community.
This climb was far more trouble free than the last. Unfortunately the shorter member of the asinthecity team was still too short for this one. So the older one had to go up instead. Thankfully there were no slippages this time around.
Hmmm, a tree climb. I am wary of climbing trees since I fell out of one last year when the branch broke. This one wasn't a difficult climb and log is signed. TFTC and the series, Willis007.
Quick tree climb on the ride home from a nearby Parkrun. Thanks for putting this series together, I’ve enjoyed slowly solving them and finding them.
19/08/22 Solved with Rach. Came searching with Sarah. Sarah sent me up as per usual.
Nice fresh log to sign.
This is cache number 2 for the day and find #985
TFTC, found with SarahE28.

On holidays with alphag_25 from Mackay. In Brisbane for a couple of days and trying to grab some of the higher DT rating caches to fill some gaps. Thanks to the CO’s for placing the caches.
This *Drum Beat* series geocache was previously solved back in 2021. Like others had mentioned, I ended up only needing to transcribe a couple of the clues before conducting some research and understanding this hero Drummer.
Today, I joined ruzzelz for a kayak paddle along Burpengary Creek, targeting the recently published *Bird Sanctuary* puzzle caches, and other interesting geocaches. An enjoyable paddle adventure with a few terrific creek sections, although it was longer than we had anticipated.
As the rain drizzle started to fall, I visited a few other geocaches in the area, including the *Moore Road* trail series, before then heading west to Burpengary for a late lunch, where I also completed the [Points of interest in Burpengary](https://labs.geocaching.com/goto/655391cd-4c30-407b-85ba-350e98fe280c) Adventure Lab. By this time, with increasing rain intensity, I travelled back home, and with a small weather window, I took a few final stops in Chermside and Stafford Heights.
Upon my approach to this cache, I spotted a water dragon (?) that was up the tree a reasonable height, so snapped a photo of that creature before ascending myself. It was reasonably quick to spot this cache container, and a fun tree to get up. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Willis007 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

28/1/2023 Find #5659
Out to beat a spot of boredom on a warm Sat arvo before needing to collect 1GiantPanda from work locally at 6pm. I opted for some more close to home/his work Dum Beat caches and a bit of a walk to get up a few steps. Unfortunately I couldn’t get near the first cache I parked at, as a family was having a BBQ picnic right opposite, and there was far too much interest in the water here. So I decided to skip it and continue on my way around, hoping maybe, just maybe, they may have moved on by the time I had completed my journey.
I wondered about my choice of timings for this one today but am pretty sure a morning visit would be even worse, knowing this is quite a popular muggle walking area (my geocaching-aware muggle parents walking this route regularly amongst them). However I managed to sneak up the branches between walkers, and signed the log then hopped down again between the next lot.
Thanks for the cache Willis007.

Most of these Who Am I? puzzles, I was able to solve with just two of the codes solved which was great because I didn’t know where to start with some of them. Very glad to see that this was a doable tree climb for me. Tftc

First stop of three target caches today on the way home from the markets and other Sunday bits and pieces. The GPS just wouldn’t settle here so mugglehubby and I split up and searched two likely spots. It didn’t take long to find after that. A quick climb and I was signing in no time! TFTC
With a school holiday afternoon free, the family and dog headed to a North side park to kick around the rugby ball, and what do you know, there was a solved puzzle cache in the vicinity. Fancy that when dad is the navigator.
From memory the puzzle for this cache didn't take too long to figure out, and have had the confirmed coordinates updated for a while now.
On approach there were a number of possible hiding spots. When 10m away the upward search began. After a minute, the container was spotted and the climb was easier than I had been expecting. The log sheet was extracted quickly and our name assed. There are 6 lines left on the log sheet.
Thanks very much for the cache and the series Willis007. Cheers

This is one of my favourite types of puzzles and I love a tree climb so I was happy to climb for this cache today. Giving it a FP FOR all the fun
Solved earlier in the week and with the boss giving us an early knock today it was to hard to go past especially as it fills a hole in my DT chart
Thanks to the co for the wonderful piece of geo art.

I do like a puzzle that you can work at to solve. I am also very happy that computers can do many clever things these days.
I had come prepared for all sorts today. Runners in the panniers, fishing pole,a s well as the usual pack of TOTTs.
Opted for the runners for this climb. Not too high, but it would have been tricky in the stiff soled bike shoes.

Another cache that would not show itself until Gunnie69 was up the tree! He soon pointed it out to me and we both had a slap to the forehead moment, and need to look at the obvious a bit more closely! LOL TFTC
Certainly getting the tree climb count up this morning. THe cache for this one remained a little elusive, even though it shouldn;t have given how obvious it is when you see it.
Nothing spotted from the ground (embarrassingly) so up I went as NurseyJulie watched on, then the cache was clearly sighted and I pointed out the bleding obvious to NJ before I moved in to take care of business.
With our initials etched in the log, I tucked it back and secured the cache before making my way down.
Cheers Willis007.

I had this one and another ear marked for today as I was going to be at the Charles for the morning. I had planned on the monkey being with me, but a call from a friend knowing I would need to head out later anyway had the kid cry off caching.
Back in the afternoon I checked on the likelihood of this cache, knowing I had a back up not too far away if the T4 was too much for me. Turns out it wasn’t and up I sailed in my new jeans and little shoes. I almost had it from a comfortable position, but I was just that bit too short!
Dropping my phone carefully into the centre of the tree meant I could use my backside for extra perching and bracing. Aha! Perfect. Log taken out and strained signing took place and I managed to get it all away. Dropped out of the tree to the view of a exercising muggle couple and a man and his two dogs - nothing to see hear but an overweight middle aged tree climber. Off to the car and the errand for a friend.

Almost muggled by a young family while climbing down.
Quickly located and signed. Returned as found, in good condition.

Have ben staying in Chermside for the last 5 days supporting our friend who was undergoing heart surgery in the Prince Charles. During our breaks we managed to stretch our legs and pick up a few caches closer to the hosp.
Very fun puzzle!
I drove close and wandered over. I had boots on but the climb was pretty straightforward and I was soon up and down without incident. TFTC and tree climb which was some much needed exercise!

We have been collectively solving these ones and today is the day to put some smileys on the map.
A good amount of tree climbing today, I took us a little while to spot the prize on this one and as the team knows tree climbing caches are my favourite to find I was again elected to head up for the grab.

I had a late start today as I had to have my leg dressed, caching injury 3 or 4 weeks ago and I also had a hair cut booked but then I was able to join with RoddyC, Hatsoff, Patrol14, Snickersallen and GrannySmith1947 to do a bit of Drumming and a few other caches. Its always good to have company.

Now that we have more freedom, it's time to get out and about. Target: More of the Drum Beat Series which we started a couple of weeks ago. I figure we shall need another day to finish them off. Our team met up at the Stafford City Shopping Center and we started from there. All up we had just the one DNF at #6.
I didn't really have to work out all the answers - i got there after just a few. At the Cache today it was: Hmm. A bit higher than the others

Spent a few hours out with Selva Girls this afternoon to pick up some of the Drum Beat caches. Plenty of walking, a bit of tree climbing and some tree fishing. There were some good hides along the way and some rather sneaky ones.

After spending the first two days of the long weekend away we set out to make up for it by finding a few caches. I’m starting to come round to the idea that every weekend should be a long weekend. I’m even at the stage where I feel motivated enough to form a Long Weekend political party. Guess what, we only have one policy.
Forget trying to manage health and community services and other imaginary things like the economy, all our problems could be solved by tacking an extra day onto the weekend. My government wouldn’t need to have a debate about daylight savings. Instead of gaining an hour over summer, you get an extra 24 of them every week.
I’m sure the current political parties would be running scared if they heard we were joining the leadership race. They can schedule all their royal commissions for a Monday because we would be at the beach. tftc

Continuing on this wonderful puzzle trail. Bruce had some practice on the adjacent tree before we spottedthecachein the other likely specimen. Thanks Willis007 for arranging and hiding fav for making it possible for people like us
I'm just the mere driver today. I haven't found any caches so far but I did find the elusive WP2 at the Up and Down multi. I'm here for quality and quantity. Another find to Gcoven. I'm happy that she's had her day in the sun as her previous caching finds would have had Noah starting another ark. All good at this lofty spot Willis007.
The tree was obvious but took a bit of looking up before it was spotted by TeamARF. I did the climbing duty today! Tftc
We have now set up camp at the Caboolture showgrounds. We have been joined for a couple of days by pprass.
Today was the 2nd day to finish off the drum series, the puzzles had been completed prior to leaving. home. So much information learnt about drummers & drumming.
This series today we spent about half & half of the time bike riding & by car. The bike riding was by far the most enjoyable.

I finished work rather early today and decided to swoop by and grab this solved puzzle cache. I didn't intend on grabbing a cache today, but I remembered I needed one to fill my calendar, so why not.
I parked the car close by and wandered over towards the general area GZ was, however it took my GPS a few seconds to calm down and find GZ, eventually it settled on a location and all that was needed was a quick glance up the tree and the hide was spotted straight away, with a foot here and a hand there I had the cache in hand. After signing and returning the log I made sure the cache was hidden so it wasn't so obvious.
Thanks for the fun puzzle and hide Willis007

Wasn’t planing on climbing a tree today but out on a walk and couldn’t help myself. Nice climb and a nice puzzle. Love the beards.
A team effort to solve all the caches in this series in preparation for burgo78 visiting the big smoke.
Loaded the bikes this morning and set out to log the series by car and bike.
Met some friendly muggles, saw wallabies and a turtle, rode bikes in the mud, and through fast-flowing creeks.
Easy tree climbs and some hard-to-find ones.
Wet feet and shoes all day due to plenty of water in many parks.
The Kedron brook was flowing quickly, would have been an adrenaline-packed paddle today.
Thank you Willis007 for this series and my apologies for the copy-paste logs

Today was mainly family day. After that was caching time. I had 2 caches as target today. Both where to finish a challenge. Now a loop done of micros now that is crazy. After finding the one down the coast. I headed back to Brisbane What a wet day big storm to drive through. Had my new TOTT to use. Maybe not the best day to use it. Nearly fell of the ladder when it twisted into the tree. Got of the ladder all safe and sound.

Out and about again with Georode to finish off the drum series. This will be our 2nd day on the geo bikes covering just over 40 km's today ( 80km in total over 2 days of cycling from home.)
I have enjoyed the challenge of solving the various puzzles thrown up by Willis007. Most of them i was able to punch my way through by myself, however a few i needed a kick in the right direction.
Today we had the relevant TOTT to collect the harder to reach caches. I feel like i pushed my way through a hundred spider webs whilst crawling in and around the trees and i must have been bitten at least 10 times by the mozzies but i loved it.
Tanks Lisa for a great series and and extra big thanks for putting it so close to my home

I always seem to either learn something new or remember to do something while caching. Like remember to take a pen and then it was take a spare, remember to take an extraction tool. Today I learnt to read the hints BEFORE you leave the car, on 3 occasions I had to walk a distance back to get a TOTT of some sort. I was in no hurry today so it was nice to just wonder around and enjoy my mistakes.
Just grabbing a few today as I am working up to a milestone and would like to collect that on one of these in this series.
Of the caches I found today all were in good condition; I signed the log and returned as found. Thank you for this series, a good variety of finds today.

The funny faces with the beards and the hair in this puzzle reminded me of that game called ”Guess Who”?
How many times over the years have I played that one with children across a variety of ages. Usually I lose.
This time I got lucky with the heads, the torsos and the jigsaw puzzle bits and so we were happy to make a find at GZ today.

This puzzle took some time... and involved at least one code that I’d not seen before...
Arriving at GZ, my first thought was “where’s Mrs Domsky when I need her?”... then I decided that I just needed to harden up...
I kept telling myself this as one of my handhelds came away from the tree with about a million angry ants attached... I showed them though... by hurling their raft into the nearby waterway as I flapped like a pigeon to remove the hangers on...
I was very conscious of not dropping anything from my perch... made my mark and returned as found... tftc...

I kept telling myself this as one of my handhelds came away from the tree with about a million angry ants attached... I showed them though... by hurling their raft into the nearby waterway as I flapped like a pigeon to remove the hangers on...

After a weekend in consolation with TTG we solved a number of the Drum Beat challenges and today we thought to claim our prizesThis is our 1st for the day & at the GZ we had an easy find 1 down a 60 odd to go ... Just a note beware of the falling pencil, if it hits the ground it likes to hide from you.
After spending a day solving these a few weekends ago, Muggle65 and I decided to grab a few today. Luckily Matty saw this before l went up so no climb and hope here. But l did drop the pencil which is actually pretty typical for me. If l can make it harder for myself, l generally will Fun puzzle which we managed to solve so we loved it. Massive amount of work you have put into this series and we sincerely thank you

After a solid wet-week of puzzle cracking I have got all my drums (except one) laid out for attack now. This one sorted with ease and my second Drum pickup went without a hitch. I have been here once before, lower down, good to return get a another smilie. Drum Beaten.
Thanks Willis007 for entertaining me at this location.

A tricky puzzle that took a while to solve.
I arrived at this one with trepidation as my body does not allow me to climb trees.
I had parked close to the GZ and looked for the cache and couldn't spot it so I headed off to find another cache nearby and on returning I had another look and this time I spotted the cache. I did contemplate trying to get my body up to it but decided that my PATCH (Personal Access Tool for Caching at Heights) would come in handy and as the car was parked close I retrieved it and maneuvered it into location and my first attempt was unsuccessful. I then stood back and surveyed my installation and found that I had been so close to it the first timer. My second attempt was successful and my name is now in the log.

Spent a few hours banging on drums after a headbanging session nutting out more of the puzzles.
The council tree loppers has gone through and we're stacking branches for collection at the other end of the park. I hoped they hadn't inadvertently disturbed the cache, bit as it turns out they lopped a couple of branches of this tree but not the one the cache is attached to, thankfully

After having a lovely walk collecting Drum Beats yesterday morning we decided to do it again this morning. The GPS couldn’t decide which side it wanted us on so we went with instinct and soon spotted the cache. Mr DisSister kindly performed the retrieval. TFTC Willis007
I’ve noticed a lot of loud noise beating in a rhythmic manner in the neighbourhood lately. In fact, some of the drums are in very close proximity to my house, there is even a drum kit just past the end of my street which to date I have not been able to shift.
I digress, fun Friday meant a bike ride to collect the solved drum beats along with Mrs Slow Puncture. I have a nice little loop planned which enables the collection of a few caches and I meet up with Mrs SP along the way.
After returning Mrs SP back to her car now was the time to venture across some little hills and connect a few dots / caches for the ride home.
This connected another little bike path adventure.
This one is likely to be the closest to home of the drums, I had even considered looking in this tree before i have solved the caches. We walk this park most days.
Surprised to be Second to Find as well

So many solved puzzles calling to us, even in our sleep, that here we are again for Day 3 collecting Drum Beats & smilies.
We haven't had a really good geoart in a while and this one is certainly getting us back in the game!
Kudos to Willis007 for the effort put in.
#23 of 25 caches found today.
A change for Mrs VC from doing audio puzzles but she didn't lose stride at all.
Codes quickly deciphered & coordinates noted.
The cache was quickly spotted & with a hearty shove & some up, up and away Mrs VC was to be seen awkwardly clutching a branch as the signing ceremony was completed.
Made our mark and replaced as found.

Solved last night, got up, had breakfast, had coffee (at my sister's, help her with a bond clean and move).
Left, I climbed the tree (not that hard of a climb), grab cache, signed. If it were more camo'd it'd be a terrain 4 but was easy to spot.
Left no swaps.
