Pick this one up todayAs we had a meeting in NgaruawahiaNice to get the final to this Ad Lab
Done a check today and was missing so replaced it now same place as hint but it's a brown bottle
I was in the right place, and not cache blind (this time). The CO has confirmed that the cache has gone awol, and given permission for me to log as found. Tftc!
After completing the AdLab yesterday, rattll and I came for a walk this morning. The two previous DNFs concerned me, and I wanted the eye of a previous finder. Alas, no luck in finding in the spot that rattll was sure it should be. Potentially a new load of stones has gone in on top, burying the cache beneath fill. A CO check would be good here.
Thoroughly enjoyed stretching our legs along the AdLab, and GeohoundandI tried out some of the equipment but we had run out of energy finding the cache. Where we had calculated GZ there were some of the hint items but nothing to turn over apart from a lot of small stones. Will try again next time we venture south.
Was finally back in town today for ANZAC service,so it was the perfect opportunity to finish this off. Had my tall grandson with me, but he wasn't required. Tftc
It didn't take long to finish the ad lab series. It could have been awkward if someone was using one of the stations . Fortunately they were all unoccupied.
After a quick calculation it was off to gz, for a quick find of a nicely hidden cache.
Thanks for setting this up

We enjoyed the adventure lab, and a quick fiddle with numbers brought us to the right spot. Great cache. Was guarded by a big fat slug. Thanks for the fun
We enjoyed completing the Adventure Lab sat down to work out the co-ordinates for the final.
We got a bit confused by the bonus number but soon worked out some very plausible looking co-ordinates and headed over to make the find.
There was a gentleman enjoying a a few drinks nearby, maybe enjoying them too much as he appeared to have had a few, but he wasn't paying any attention to what was happening around him and we were able to search with no issues.
The hint allowed us to quickly locate this very nicely constructed cache which blends in so well. What an awesome effort.
Once the log was signed and the cache returned to its hiding spot we left the man to have another drink and headed on our way.
Thanks eyespyben for this great Adventure Lab and very clever bonus cache.
A definite favourite point from us.

Took a minute to find as there was coincidentally 1-5 written on the concrete TFTC
Very clever wee hide, awesome camo. Luckily not too many muggles to dodge today but definitely required a bit of stealth, those cyclists come out of nowhere! Thanks so much for this ad lab and bonus cache, was a great Sunday morning walk
No luck today.
Hmmm found a round thing, but there was no apparent cache on it. All quiet at GZ but felt uncomfortable blindly serching.
Next time.......

We were pleased to be back in the area tonight , finally with time to locate this bonus cache for the Adventure Lab that we had completed previously. Thank you for setting up the Adventure Lab and for taking the time to place a bonus cache. TFTC

Today we set out as a Team SEAC group to bike the Te Awa riverside bike trail on a lovely Saturday morning. After getting rained out on a previous attempt to do this ride we finally got a sunny spring day to do the Ngaruwahia to Hamilton Gardens leg. It took us about 5 hours to do approx. 34km with plenty of geocaching and lunch along the way.
After completing the adventure lab we made quick work of the solve and find on this bonus. TFTC!

A group of like minded people had been motivated by Mrs NZTravellers to cycle the river trail from Ngaruawahia to The Hamilton Gardens...it had been postponed before and today was the day, and the weather looked good to support a fun day full of adventure and crazyness......
Dropped bikes and gear at Ngaruawahia and headed down to the gardens where we were to drop off a car for the return drive, and then headed back....
We were met by others, which meant we were ready to set off.
We were lucky enough to have had some intel on this bonus cache which meant we didn't have to do too much doubling back....Thanks Keylev....
Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space and onto the next.....

A sizeable group of Team SEAC had decided to bike the first stage of the Te Awa Bike Ride from Ngaruawahia to the Botanical Gardens in Hamilton. This was our second attempt, as some particularly nasty weather thwarted our previous attempt before we even got started. Luckily, today the weather played ball and we enjoyed a pleasant day's bike ride along the mighty Waikato River.
One of the team had already done the Ad Lab and knew the coordinates for the bonus, so we could pick it up at an appropriate point as the rest of us collected the information needed for the Ad Lab.

Out with members of Team SEAC cycling the Te Awa Bike trail. Awesome day out and a total of 34kms! Thanks for placing this cache and getting outside on our bikes
A few months ago Mrs NZT suggested a cycle ride from Ngaruawahia to the Hamilton Gardens. Our first attempt was postponed due to bad weather. So today a group of us from Team SEAC finally got to do the planned outing. It ended up being 34kms, taking nearly 5 hours, involved lots of laughs, and getting a good number of caches along the way. A nice easy Ad Lab to start the day then this nice quick find following the hint. Nice cammo on the container. Log signed Team SEAC to save space on the log
An enjoyable well set adlabI enjoyed the scenic stroll alo g with the very tidy camo well done eyespyben a fav for your efforts
A well executed Ad Lab. Stunning scenery even in the drizzle. Thanks for the bonus eyespyben
We are in the North Island to try to complete the PWGT Tahi section so we are having to head to the far north. Along the way we will pick up a few other caches that take our interest such as those with lots of favourites or size large or letterbox caches or some that will just help us to fulfil some of the various challenges we are working on.
And then there is the occasional lab cache thrown into the mix - like this one. It was such a stunning afternoon and a lovely relaxed atmosphere along the river walk. The numbers for the final were soon worked out and we went to search for it. 4-5 only produced a couple of cans so gk expanded his search and quickly found what we were looking for.
With the new souvenir challenge we need to use the app to log the finds, but as I like to waffle on and write my stories on my laptop I am writing these while back at the campervan.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Our minis are at camp for 10 days and have a visitors day on the sunday so after stopping by to have lunch with them NZIceman and I stopped along the way for some caches 'on the way home'.
Wandered along and completed all the steps with no trouble except the last one which we completely misunderstood the hint so put all sorts of wrong answers in before hitting the right one...yus! Sat down on the nearby picnic table to nut out the final for the bonus and we were soon on our way.
Whilst I went the wrong way NZIceman pointed out another area that could actually fit the hint a little better but all I found there was a frying pan! Extended the search and what do you know probably #6 is better now so there may be some cache creep at play but its all good here.
Thanks for the cache.

Found after an enjoyable wander with the kiddos, a nicely put together cache and adventure. TFTC!
I think this is my first Adventure Lab and I really didn't know what to do with the extra coordinates until I spotted this Mystery Cache. Glad to have it sorted before I headed back to Hamilton for my next appointment.
It was great to visit these interesting and well designed stations. Once the coords were worked out they led to a likely possibility. Once the gps settled down , and after a short search soon located an item of interest. Thanks and well done eyespyben for this bonus.
A great Adventure Lab Cache, and a cool puzzle bonus here. It's in a good spot, TFTC
Out with agazo today, didn't take long to get the numbers, searched where gps told us but expanded the area before finding it, tftc
Once nufrat and I completed the AL and computed the final coords, we came over here to GZ. We had some discussion as to how and what to count. After a few trials, we found the right way and the cache. TFTC.
Love the chance of a bonus find after a AL. I was getting a bit worried though when we couldn’t find it....oh duh! gigiEV found it!! And a easy find too! Great work. Thanks eyespyben
Really enjoyed doing the AL with my Mum on a weekend away from Taranaki. Quickly worked the final coords out and off for the hunt. Took us a minute or two to find the cache but I found the cool container in the end. FP for the effort put in.
We had a fun morning along the riverside trail visiting the Max Health Run Walk and Bike fitness stations to do the Adventure Labs. We collected the required informtion and calculated our final co-ordinates. Arriving at GZ we had to wait briefly for a motorised muggle to pass by before we got down to searching. We had the cache in hand a short time later. Thanks.
Brilliant camo here....Peaceful place on a weekday.
Good to have a break on way south .
Fave Point for your container!

Good to have a bonus as a reward for all huff and puff on the fitness trail! TFTC for your efforts.
A lovely adventure lab which took us for a lovely walk alongside the Waikato river on a warm and sunny Autumnal day. We made our way to gz, where the well camo'd cache was soon spotted. TFTC
After a lovely walk along the river doing the Ad Lab. we did our calculations and made a quick find here thanks to the hint
I went for a wee drive in my cachemobile up to Otorohanga to locate and sign off a PW cache and to labour over a couple of AdLabs.
This was the AdLab and once I had all the necessary info I was off to the final.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice stroll along the walkway. No problems answering questions then off to find the bonus. Nicely hidden cache. Tftc
I have a plan today to visit Hamilton Cemetery to suss out a plaque for my grandmother then visit Mike-miss in their new home south of Morrinsville. These guys shifted from Auckland a few months ago and I have been invited to lunch…nice! Also, need a few caches to start of the new Science of Discovery souvenirs that came into effect 2 days ago.
Last cache for the day, it's been raining heavily but I have to make time for this cache seeing as I have done the ad lab to get here. The hint initially I found confusing but it was obvious when I did eventually find the cache. Nice little hide. Now I can put my brolly away and head home for dinner.

This was a fun find, even if it was after dark, but I guess it doesn't matter what time of the day you exercise aye, TFTC
got held up at 1 waypoint. muggles climbing all over the equipment.

A nice walk along this path collecting the numbers. It is good that there are plenty of places to see the river and the marae on the other side of the river. When we came back to WP1 there was a family of pre-schoolers having lunch and playing on the equipment.
I received a message from Tramyard asking if I wanted to head to the Waikato to complete a number of adventure labs around the area. Even though I was in Hamilton for work this week I didn't have a chance to travel out to attempt these ALs and as it's always fun with others I agreed to join him.
As we parked up by the first WP for this AL, we noticed a large event across the river. We would later find out that this was the Tūrangawaewae Regatta. Just after we had completed all the WPs and were walking back to the car, we heard the calls from the waka's and stopped to watch as they started a waiata and headed off down the river. It was a nice bonus on this gorgeous day.

Good area to use the new electric scooter doing this one Nice to see the river. TFTC
Nice camo, rustynz did the math to get us here. Only one spot for some reason had an issue with logging. Otherwise all good. Not been here before
On our way around the Waikato, finding a couple of caches along the way
A new (or is it now old?) AdLab cache had been created since we last came visiting, so here we are, following along the river. Families pass us by on bikes, and dog walkers too.
No problems with the answers, and with the help of the hint we were soon finding the cache (very creative).
Thanks for the adventure lab and bonus, a fun find eyespyben

managed to get out and pick this one up today. Nice camo - worth a favourite. Thanks for the lab.
With an older brother, a dog, and a Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We're making hay while the sun is shining - and boy, the sun is definitely shining today!
It was far too hot to be exercising in today's heat and the equipment looked torturous and cruel in the blazing sunlight. We took the lazy approach and drove between waypoints... You have to love an Ad Lab that allows this option. We cruised through and collected the bonus clues. A small blip had us slightly confused, but we managed to end up at the hide. It was great to have a shady spot to chill out momentarily. Thanks eyespyben. TFTP and TFTC.

Lovely piece of camouflage. A nice bonus for a good walk in the sun. Thank goodness for the shade though. TFTC & FP.
Had trouble with the 1st station. Phoned a prev finder. Got the bonus numbers for an easy calculation. Easy find thanks. I liked the container tftc
After the clean up cache GC95A8T Hairy KGD and I were off to the north Waikato to get some caches. The roads were busy but with a radio and air con it was good. tftc. A very hot walk
After doing the Adventure Lab, yesterday, I carried on doing my checks.. I got the final yesterday after waking up, and decided that heading back to Hamilton after finishing would be an ideal time to grab this.
Thanks eyespyben, nicely hidden final #2354
Thanks eyespyben, nicely hidden final #2354
Decided on a early morning hunt, sorted out the adventure cache and grabbed the clues, made my way to the final for an easy find, Thank you
Find number 7248. I was caching in Whangamata when this was published so ignored it. I was back in Hamilton and attended my normal Wednesday evening commitment. Before leaving at around 10pm I check and saw there were no logs. The information led me to believe I could do it in the dark so I detoured here. Nice easy walk along the path to complete. Though I have to admit I did not use any of the equipment. (Other than to gather the necessary information). A short search at final GZ produced something of interest. Opened to find a blank log. {FTF} number 256. Thank you for the placement.
