Super creepy on the cache found a fresh lump of meat on a piece of paper. Strange
I spent my day off taking a drive down to Batemans Bay to visit some of the caches along the Kings highway and the inner Batemans Bay area. It was a cold morning, but it soon tuned into a nice day at the coast.
No luck for me here today, just rubbish today.
Thanks.

Found a very dirty, wet log in a little plastic bag but no container. Yes, lots of rubbish there. Lovely walk along the beach.
About to head home after a weekend in town for a SES exercise (and a few caches), a string of dnfs here wasn’t looking promising I could complete the last I needed in the series of seven. However, that only made me more adamant to look harder, even expanding the radius from the empty spot right on zero. A lot of rubbish and long wet grass eventually revealed a destroyed log sheet and bits of likely swag but no container. Gathered what some usable paper into a temporary ziplock bag, replaced under camo at zero to claim the find (and the set as not in the area often) but CO needs to check and replace with something more secure asap.
23,656. Found during a coastal caching run with DARKSIDEDAN and IamCoust today.
A last minute plan was thrown together for a fun day trip down to Bateman's Bay and surrounds. Caught up with the others in Braidwood where I left my Geomobile, and we headed down the mountain in DSD's. This was the next stop for the day. One of several where we parked as best we could and wandered in along seaside paths. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache as found, then headed off to the next one.
Thanks Harry_02 !! I use to bring my kids to the carnival here.

A day trip down to Bateman's Bay and surrounds with DARKSIDEDAN and fitzy_1965. Found 23 for the day, a good effort, with only a few DNFs we put down to sketchy reception.
A cloudy start to the day turning into light rain once over the bridge (oooh, look at the new bridge). Eventually clearing it was sunny and humid for the remainder of the afternoon.
A good amount of banter was had, including a few laughs about this and that. Thanks guys, look forward to the next adventure.
Not a carnie to be seen. TNLNSL TFTC

Quick and easy today, looks like this was posted recently and I’m the second to find. This beach seems to be popular with jet-ski hiring, now that’s a good business here. Tftc
This morning we decided to take the Geohound for a run on the beach, among other things planned for the days activity. A busy day indeed and some new caches also.
Arriving at GZ and Youban arrived there as well.
We had a bit of a chat and then find the cache.
Once cache located a joint {*FTF*} was claimed.

**FTF**. Arrived at GZ same time as J+J. We had been doing cache maintenance and continued on in to The Bay to sort out a problem with another of our caches. We decided to have a look at this one as the FTF was still available. Looks like the carnival is bigger than ever. TFTC Harry_02. Kutgw
