Had some time to kill while in town and instead of sitting around waiting I found this cache. Tftc.
Was looking for somewhere that we might be able to leave a travel bug. This is not going to be the one thanks for the hide.
My pup Onyx & I are staying around the area following the JLWE & thought we would visit a couple of parks & grab a few caches. Firstly we wandered around Dead Man's Pass then onto this park. Another lovely area to walk the puppy. I had parked only a few metres from the cache and found it easily.TFTC OZGrumpy
TFTC found after riding the Barossa Rail Trail the day before with Algae. We then went out on my electric scooter and his electric one wheel ABs grabbed these caches. I had to w walk a couple of the up hills a bit to steep for my scooter. we also stopped at Jacobs winery for some tasters, and to Kiers to do some more testers, and b rough some port, and then finally the lavender farm to buy some smellies. Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches for us to find.
Now that the bike series was completed we continued onto the Barossa series. LB bid us a fond farewell at Swan Reach so now the convoy consisted of feathertop, GoodLook,Rapidlywild, TheDame and The Drovers. After completing the Barossa Grape series we parted ways with the rest of the group as they ventured to another series that we had already completed. So it was just back to signing the log as Rapidlywild and FurfacesLL and we just let the GPS lead the way from cache to cache. Thanks for the hide OZGrumpy and thanks for a fun adventure Rapidlywild
Plans have been in place for a little while now about a convoy from the Canberra Mega to head over to SA and finish off what currently stands of the On Your Bike series. Today being day 4 of the trip away, todays convoy consisted of GoodLook, TheDame, feathertop, The Drovers, FurfacesLL and myself.Today's primary target was the Barossa Grapes series of caches. Having "The Mob" finish the Barossa Grapes off, we went our own ways for the rest of the day. Some went off to do another series nearby that FFLL and I had already done, so we followed the GPS for a while and collected other caches nearby. We then went into Gawler for a specific cache and did a few more there too.The right angle and this one glitters in the sun. Log stamped and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache placement and maintenance OZGrumpy and thanks FurfacesLL for another fun trip away
Another in this series for me, an away one this time. Parked along the road and headed here for a first find of the day (late afternoon). A good start. After an intermittently busy, but successful, day at work I'd brought my 'play clothes' with me in case there was a chance to head out to Gawler for a few caches. On my target list I had a Wherigo (didn't check the D/T and was underequipped), LBH once I found the correct entry point to save wading through swamp, or traversing very old bridge structures. As it was I happened upon the two stages for a bonus puzzle cache, and a meet up and chat with Skuzzybear, nice to meet you J. A modest haul but a couple of awesome caches that'll live long in the memory. Thanks to all COs here.
We extended our stay in Adelaide after the MEGA Leapyear events and are still refreshing our memories, enjoying new places and doing some caching. We passed this area. We found the cache and signed the log.Tftc OzGrumpy
We stay another week in Adelaide and pick up some more caches Found the cache with TBU1BIKESU Tftc
Another scorcher day was forecast so we decided to take it easy and stick close to 'home'. Needed to do some shopping for some family members so got that out of the way then chose an area with a few caches in it to grab. This necessitated leaving the comfort of the air conditioned vehicle and going for a walk. Even mid-morning was soo hot. This was a nice easy find near where we parked the car. tftc#9022
I am up early (I am always up early) so grabbed the car and went out to do some adlabs before the rest of the household wakes up.Which meant I was near here. So I collected this one as well. I already knew where it was as we had earlier mistaken it as the final for the nearby Settlers cache
Our wonderful caching trip to South Australia is coming to an end. We've had an absolutely wonderful time and there's just time for a few more finds on the way to the airport. We actually found this as it was in proximity to an Ad Lab waypoint, else how would one choose which geocaches to seek given all the possibilities and our limited time. Thanks for the cache .
Heading home today and we're a bit sad about that because we've had an awesome time caching our little socks off. Found this while ticking off the nearby lab. Heaps of bikers around obviously heading off on a group bike very soon but this cache was nicely hidden away from their sight. . Found with Nanzie and Sidewaze - I was wanting to call us the SIN team but the others weren't so keen so I think it ended up being INS. TFTC OZGrumpy and kia ora from Aotearoa/New Zealand # 22,024Otepoti/Dunedin is the place to be 26-27 October, 2024 for GCA7ZHD - Geo Toroa Mega! Please come and join in the fun, find heaps of caches and experience some wonderful Southern hospitality.
Found with IsisNZ and Sidewaze on our way to catch our plane from Adelaide to Melbourne thanks OZGrumpy

We are in town for the Adelaide Mega and are currently staying with a geocaching friend who we needed to take to town for an appointment. While this is happening we headed out and found some of the local geocaches finding 11 in total. All the caches we haunted for were found and are in good condition, Log books are all OK. SL TFTC
Day2 with Tankengine and Youban on our Adelaide Leap Year Mega trip. We did a good handful of caches, caught up with friends and family and all without a dnf. This cache: Found all good. Tftc!!!

GC950H5 Game Set and Match #41 - Gawler 1Down in Adelaide from Brisbane for the leap year mega. After arriving today we headed north east to our accommodation in Waikerie grabbing caches along the way.To save space in the logs we have signed as BOLD7 This was our first game set match not realising at the time how many there is around. Quick find here. TFTC OZGrumpy
Grabbing a few around Gawler after my first trip some 6 months ago on a winery jaunt with a few muggles. With time on our hands the BOLD07 picked up some interesting caches. Its great to hear Sth Aust and their policy re public tennis courts. Shame our state couldn't be as progressive. Cheers OZGrumpy for keeping this cache inside the base line.
Continuing with the South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. There is so much to do and in such close proximity. Today it was leaving Adelaide and venturing north through Gamber and then a little east to grab caches in Waikerie to start the onslaught on the bike series of caches and locals. There is always time for one more cache and that seemed to be the theme for the road trip today. We left the airport and started our trip. Some great variety of caches today and some fun along the way. We got to see a huge moon a rising with some awesome pics. Thanks to all the COs for the hides and caches we found today, awesome caches. Caches were signed BOLD 7
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to explore the country. Fab day collecting all sorts including some well preserved oldies. Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches.

Tftc, Collecting caches on the way up north for some geoart in our leap mega caching week. Signed with BOLD7. Thanks for hiding and maintaining.
TFTC OZGrumpy your cache Game Set and Match #41 - Gawler 1 that we found today. Day 5 in Mallala as we wait for the Leap Day Mega. The day started with a Meet and Greet event in Gawler. After the event we continued where we left off in town chasing the rest of the multi caches in town as well as an AL, whereigo and a couple of puzzle caches. We also found a few traditionals. We could have kept going but we had had enough of travelling on dusty roads over the past couple of weeks. Back to camp to prepare for our move too Adelaide on Sunday.Find Count: 18429
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
I am from Switzerland...and we travel all states and terretorries of Australia .We do housesitting all over the world and this time we started off in Tasmania .I have been in Adelaide many times before .and have arrived a few days ago . Its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching Nggi2 and I were on our way to Gawler for the Australian Day celebration..but arrived to late . So we went geocaching instead with my best friend and her son Jason . But we had to leave those two guys behind in the park ..because Jason is in a wheelchair and some tracks were not suitable for him . We found all caches in good time and had only one DNF ! Happy Australia day !Thank you for placing this Dsli (Dsli means little box in Swiss) oinkoinkWe got it on Aussie day

In the area with sir_spectre for an event so of course we grabbed a few caches that were nearby. Found by torchlight fairly quickly.
Thanks
Thanks
Found in the dark under torch light. Found after the Pirates of the PA ribbean Project MAKING #4 event. found with Mogni. Found the first cable tie in the tree but no cache. Then looked higher and found the cache. Another one of this series down.
Turns out that the only event that was on a day that is convenient for me was the Pirates of the PA ribbean Project MAKING #4,only a 100 kms one way. This meant i was going to get at least one puzzle, traditional, lab stage (s ), letterbox, multi, virtual, earth cache and a event. Things we do for a souvenir challenge. Only one DNF and i think that cache was missing.

With an early start to the day I took the opportunity to find a few caches on my way to attending this morning's event at Gawler. Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy!
I enjoyed this one, well hidden. This is the second time I have seen Bison written as a hint and I still don't get what it is. Is it perhaps the name of the cannister? TFTC
Thought ths one was gone when we found the empty zip tie at the hint height. Luckily spotted the cache much higher
TFTC and greetings from Tassie
TFTC and greetings from Tassie
Found after a short search with tassie expat while walking around the track. Thanks for putting nice easy caches here. Coords are accurate and it's in good condition.
Of course, frmen1 and I go caching in a popular park on a Saturday morning! Grabbing it was easy...it took 10-15mins to return! TFTC
Southern Autumn adventure Day 43. Mid North section of SA trip Day 14. Gawler Day 2. With only a small target in front of me for caching numbers today, I decided to have a go at some of the caches spread around town here in Gawler today. There was a transcription problem that took me to Lyndoch as well, but I will say no more of that. There were a couple of really impressive caches I came across today.
I have done a few caches in this park before, and it is great to come and visit again. I managed a few in the car and I walked for a couple. A very peaceful mooring with a few dogs about for company.
Thanks for the cache OZGrumpy
