Great hide and cool location, cache had a bit of water but I tipped it out TFTC!
A nice find here today cache is all goodTravelling around Victoria with Freddo for a week finding caches as we go. With two challenges on our radar we were in full force. All logs signed with our names or F+g98 for the smaller caches. Thanks for the cache
Cache was found after a short search. Thanks for the fun. Interesting location.Cleaning up Victoria with gridge98. We are on a mission this week. Completing twenty finds in Mexican local government areas is the challenge. Another find with the correct criteria. It is in Victoria and we have not accumulated twenty finds in this local government area.Today was the day to find this cache. Today is Saturn's day the nineteenth day of the octavus month of the Roman calendar in the wonderful year of twenty twenty four. We found your cache container and added some inky stuff to the paper sheet or note pad you have supplied for a log book or scroll. The cache container and log book or scroll were in good condition. It was a bit windy today. It was so windy today. With the log signed and the cache replaced it was time to leave. Onwards to the next cache. Woot, that is not to far.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Well, what did i just say about reading the description in full? On two occasions (from above and below) end up on the wrong side of the fence. Instead of going for shot three, Ripley1602 decided to just jump the fence and retrieve the cache. There was a fair bit of water inside, we tried to drain it as best we could. TFTC
My buddies: b@wWe didn't read the cache page, until arriving 12m from the cache... On the wrong side of the fence!! LolHad to turn around & try again! This got the heart rate up!Thank you Mister Doctor, for creating, placing and maintaining this cache. I have enjoyed finding it and visiting this spot.Follow my story on Instagram @AlphaDeltaIndigo
This cache is a 1/3 and this find marks the milestone of my 100th 1/3 DTA quick find with ADI. Cache signed and replaced. TFTC
It's my last home day in Melbourne for this trip; I'll head back to Canberra for work tomorrow. I've had the tab for this cache open on my laptop all week, as it fills a gap on my D/T grid.I set out between lunch with my son and his fiancee, and dinner with my mum. It has been drizzly for a couple of days, so the ground was quite damp. I set off up the slope along the side closest to the drop-off; this was not very clever, as the rocks were slippery, even in my best climbing shoes. When I realised that GZ was further in, I had to do a steep climb for the last little bit. Still I found the cache, signed the log, and went back down the safer way Thanks for the cache, Mister Doctor!
Inadvertently made this into a T3.5 by being on the wrong side of the fence on the approach to GZ Also lost my pen (after signing the log) in the clamber back to flatter ground. Love your work, MD. TFTC
11:00We have been playing this game for quite a while and we would never have seen or explored, this fascinating area near Melbourne were it not for Geocaching!A very interesting and clever placement, but we had nothing to celebrate apart from finding this cache! Thanks to Mister Doctor for hiding caches in such interesting locations. 36545
Out on a nice warm afternoon walk, gps bounced us around a bit near gz, but got there in the end. Really loved the assortment of photo styling accoutrements! Not quite a specific milestone, but 1930 is reasonable! Tftc ^_^
Wow, amazing, cache slightly damp, but hopefully, the warmer weather will sort that out. Thanks for the cache
#1374 - A nice morning walk along the Mullum Mullum trail with some detours to pick up some caches along the way. A little bit slippery getting to GZ but love this little spot.

Once again I failed to read the description and parked in the wrong place and I soon realised I was on the wrong side of the fence so I followed the trail down and then the next trail upwards and soon sighted the cache. Going back down was very slippery due to recent rain. A few cameras around .. should make for interesting viewing. Thanks Mister Doctor for placing the cache.
It is a very interesting location for a cache. It has a strange vibe. Perhaps it’s all the cameras around following your every move. I’m still a way off my next milestone but I do recall my 1,000th find where we found GJMMelb’s Winding waters after our third attempt so that was very satisfying. Thank you Mister Doctor for placing and maintaining A Memorable Milestone for us to find today.

What an intriguing location for a cache. I am surprised I have never ventured here before. That's the great thing about geocaching - it takes you to some curious places.
After finding the cache we took in the beautiful sunset and pondered all the cars zooming beneath us.
Thanks for a memorable visit Mister Doctor, even if it wasn't for a milestone it certainly made our day.

Out filling in spots in the D/T grid at night with KDosVerH123.
This one was a weird walk to it at night, such a strange location. I was just about to hop down off the fence thinking I was on the wrong side when kdos made the find.
No milestones today for me but a cool cache regardless. Log signed and replaced as found.
Happy to report that the cache is in good condition and the logbook nice and dry.

PLEASE DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY MY LOG. IM A BIT OF AN IDIOT AND STUFFED UP. This is not a dangerous cache
Ouch, this one hurt a bit. Started the jouney around 2 am and it was a very strange area. I decided the best way to get to gz was up a slippery and steep hill ( I was wrong). After getting almost to the top I ended up slipping down the entire cliff (not really a cliff). Luckily ending up with only a bruised butt and a collection of cuts on my hands. Then went and found the real way up and what a nice cache. I’d suggest saving it as a milestone as heybuddha and I didn’t read the premise of this cache. TFTC

Find number 4 for the day, while on my way to 100, hopefully!
I was a bit wary of this one given the terrain, that I was on my own and that it has been pouring with rain all morning. But I decided to give it a go and gave myself permission to turn around if needed. I was making my way up fine and almost to GZ when my heart got a jump start as I slipped on the mud. Thankfully I was able to grab a tree and was still far from the edge but it certainly woke me up!
At GZ I easily found the container and took an obligatory selfie with the supplied tools. Not sure that 661 is the most memorable of milestones but it's getting there!
Thanks for the cache!

This cache is part of why I was walking around the reserve today. A few weeks back, I was driving along the Eastlink and wondered if there were walking trails to the spot behind the sign. As a cacher, I also thought if there was a cache up there.
Caches like these are why I enjoy the hobby. Take me to an interesting space and let me enjoy the world. Sure, gadget caches are exciting, but these types interest me the most. I love getting out and about to see some amazing locations. Thanks for placing this one here.

Not a quick pick pick up, once I pointed out to geo-wife where it would be, she was very
reluctant to attempt it, so i found an easier way up, then found I was on the wrong side of the
fence, But there was noway I was going down with out getting the cache, so i hoped the fence
and soon had the cache and log signed, and back over the fence.

Running around the area collecting caches along the way. We got a bit confused by the hint but then kicked ourselves when we found it. Blends in well but so obvious when you see it.
After sweating it out climbing up the huge hill we took a moment to take in the views. After a while we finally spotted what had to be the cache. This one is simple but very effective at blending in with it's surroundings. Thanks Mister Doctor!
A very interesting spot for a cache! Took me a bit to figure out exactly where I had to be, but at gz I quickly spotted what must be the cache! Tftc!
Having been impressed by many of the CO's caches in the past, we decided to treat ourselves with a 'Mister Doctor' day.
We try to celebrate our milestones by doing something difficult. Geocaching must do strange things to the mind. I can only assume that with each milestone, the problem becomes worse.
We followed the instructions carefully and made our way up to the container.
Thanks Mister Doctor for showing us this place which we never would have known existed without this cache. A favourite point from us.
Chiefton!!!

GT37 needed a cache to keep her streak going so as we were nearby, we took the opportunity to look for and find this cache. Not sure that we approached from the best direction but we made it without any troubles. Neither of us have ever seen the view from this angle so it was an interesting outlook. Thanks for the cache.
I needed a cache for the day and we weren't far away from this one. I think that Papi4506 might have led me astray as the track out was easier than that we took to get here. It was a very interesting perspective on this view. Thank you for bringing us up here.
Found with icw. The cache was cunningly hidden in plain sight in a hidden corner of remnant bushland. Tftc.
You really do feel exposed from all direction here being perched up so high. Luckily for the me muggles were too busy waling there dogs to be notice me trying not to fall down the cutting.
It was a bit wet today so I didn't pull any of the costumes out.

Not a milestone, at 1539 finds, thought about coming back in another 400 or so, but hec, we're here now. We decided to walk from Vital Signs, it's a nice peaceful walk. Strange to think I used to travel 5 days a week past here to work, just under our feet. After 5 Mister Doctor caches in a row, we are blown away by his ingenuity.

On our way to this cache geoson found a stick. He then found a wonderful hill to roll down which he and geodaughter did several times. So much fun they had, that they didn't realise that the stick was left at the top of the hill. That is until we started to cross the creek and then the wailing started - "my stick, my stick! I need my stick". "We'll get it when we go back" "NOOOOOOO, I NEEEEEEED it NOOOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!". This noise continued up the steps, up the hill, up the other steps, as we waved from the neat platform, when we crossed the top of the tunnel, as we climbed the steep hill, as we nearly fell off the steep hill and at the top when we found GZ. Very pouty for the milestone photos. Then back to the noise for the trip back. The stick was retrieved, he waved it in the air a few times, then it snapped in two and he threw it behind him. So yes, a memorable cache for off the wrong reasons. We thoroughly enjoyed the props and the photos at the top. Thanks MisterDoctor
Congratulations!

Headed out today with Manfred Wolfgang , Earthbound Chief and BeckNmonts, targeting the caches that had been nominated for an award in the cache of the year. Mostly just doing the caches that were friendly
Didn't quite get to this as intended, but made it in the end.
Massive thanks go to Mister Doctor for placing this one.

Sir Manfred Wolfgang S Crocodile , ahomburg, Earthbound Chief and myself decided to dedicate today to finding some nominated Cache of the Year geocaches. Okay, I won’t lie. Sir Crocodile was not allowed to get to GZ of this one. Thanks for placing a high quality cache for us to find Mister Doctor.
Today we found A Memorable Milestone on our travels. We are out and about touring some of the COTY nominees. This made us pause and think about some of our milestones. We have just recently signed our 13000th log but I think our most memorable would have to be visiting HQ in Seattle for our 3000th milestone. That was pretty cool even if our then preteen was highly underwhelmed and unimpressed… there were donuts afterwards. More importantly though we are reminded the added layer of richness, fun and friendship geocaching has brought to our lives as well as the stupid things we do in the name of adding our name to a really old log inside a hidden box….like getting lost in a Finnish forest or getting a Georgian boat licence so you can hire a boat to get a cache in the middle of a massive lake system just outside of Atlanta…with people you have only just met No banjos were heard or devils seen on that day but there were people who’d travelled from Canada to the US to join in with the crazy Australian! Not something we’d have ever done in life prior to geocaching!
Thanks Mister Doctor for being part of our geocaching fun.
Thanks Mister Doctor for being part of our geocaching fun.
With a little time after dropping the eldest to the nearby mega mall, I headed off to find a few caches.
A nice little walk from the historical cottage brought me to this odd area above the tunnels.
The cache camo was well matched to its placement, and although this cache find isn't a particular milestone, I guess every cache is a step along the way.
My favorite milestone would be, like the CO, Victoria's Oldest GC7A, which was our find #700.

What an amazing place to hide a cache. I have driven beneath this point hundreds of times over the years. Just last week geo son asked me what was above the tunnels. It was great to be able to show him today.
What a cool concept for the cache. I now wished I would have saved it for a more special milestone, 753 doesn’t have the best ring to it, but a fun one I guess.
I came because this one filled a gap in my D/T grid, but I had so much fun with it. It earns a favourite point from me!
Cache is in great shape, little bit of ants but not bad. Logbook was in great shape. TFTC

With my son starting work at 5 am, I offered to give him a lift. With it going to be a hot day, I thought I would go for an early morning geocaching run. It had been too long since the last one and I had until noon before needing to be home. Didn't get everything I had planned, but got home at 11.45 am after an enjoyable morning.
Today I thought I would tackle some oldies and some DTs that I needed and any nearby that caught my attention.
I had got to 10 meters away from GZ, when Woops, I discovered I was on the wrong side of fence. Found at 8.20 am and enjoyed the view of East Link bending into the tunnel.
Thanks for the cache Mister Doctor

Could not figure out how to match the coordinates, the description, the hint, and the actual GZ layout.
Found at 5:30 pm.
I was heading out for dinner and had some spare time so took a small diversion to find a few caches and this was one of them.
I parked at the suggested waypoint and walked past a guy walking some really small cute puppies which I had to stop and pat.
I headed on my way to a deserted courtyard that I remember coming to a Pi Day event at some years ago.
No one around so I headed up the dangerous path and spent a minute or so until I read the hint and then made the find.
Thanks Mister Doctor for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Note to new players: think about whether what you leave is really suitable as a swap - I removed a pair of drawing compasses, too pointy!!

if i had the power to make one minor edit to our game of geocaching, it would be:
customisation of what new geocaches you get notified about
at the minute, i’ve just got a bunch of sizeable radii so i’ll get pinged whenever some brand-new treasure materialises in those large catchment areas
but i don’t really want to go hurtling after every new cache
i’m here for that dash of adventure
i’d love to know:
when a new tree-climbing cache appears
when a new terrain 3+ cache appears
when a new treasure hidden up some overgrown trail beside a sprawling waterfall appears (yes that is quite a specific type of cache so i’d probably have to add in a new attribute for that)
so when the pings of fresh treasures sound, there’s a delicate checklist determining whether the cache is worth chasing straight away:
how far away is it
who placed it
what’s the terrain
i remember when this cache was published: it quickly ticked all three boxes: let’s go go go go goooo
but
but
i was due to start work-from-home in fifteen minutes
drats
so had to leave it
until tonight
under the cover of darkness, we made the plunge
remember: coordinates and hints and recommended routes are merely suggestions
sometimes you just have to follow your truth and jump a lil fence or two
good stuff
love your work

What a great location for such a cache. I did miss the short way up to GZ but took it on the way down and those small tree/bushes were well placed to hold onto on the way down. The wet conditions made it more of a challenge. Been to the Lookout before but not for sometime great views here. [^]

Found it! Nearing the end of our walk today we headed up the narrow trail to GZ. Spotted something out of place but doing a really good job of blending in! Should have saved this one for a proper milestone! Never mind. TFTC SL
A little tricky when you don't read the description first, but after reading not too hard to find. TFTC
Just love this cache so decided to take the grandkids for a walk. Lots and lots of people were passed on the way but no one else to take the high road. Left lots of goodies to pass on. Love your work MD
Well, that was a terrifying climb up to this! Love the idea of the cache, TFTC!
I found this cache today on my Ringwood Round Trip Caching Day. I had parked to the park in the north and walked back around to the entrance. It is quite a drop from nearby the cache to the bottom, but a nice perspective that I had not seen before. Thanks from D B-A
Out for my 5km walk and a few local caches.
Another clever hide and an area I never knew about.
Thanks to Mister Doctor for the placement and fun.

We missed your 1000th by a few hours at Victoria’s first. Now here we are for our 600.
Every one of the 50 Mister Doctor caches has been memorable and we look forward to finding and logging the rest of your caches.
Thanks for placing and maintaining another great cache.

*Cache find # 11826.*
While in the area I noticed this one with a bit higher T rating so I decided to have a look.
I not close to any milestone so its just another find for me.
I made my way up to GZ and was able to spot the cache fairly easily, log was signed and I made my way back to the car.
**Thanks to Mister Doctor for placing this cache.**

60 days since my last find
Not the kind of milestone i was expecting for this cache but a milestone all the same.
Sore back finally not so sore and as it turns out any fitness i did have has left me. I sounded like Puffing Billy there and back.
Don't think I'll be climbing trees any time soon. Slow and steady...
Great execution of the whole concept from start to finish.
Well worth the visit here today. A new spot for me.
Fav added.

Our first chance to get out after the recent lockdown! Different views of the tunnel tower on a sunny morning. A little bit of a sramble to GZ and quick find. Thanks to Mister Doctor for a memorable find.
It was a bit too slippery to take the path inside the fence, so went the safer route and climbed through the fence closer to the cache.
Thanks Mister Doctor for A Memorable Milestone

Another highlight here, from Mister Doctor. this is out #1320 cache, and on our way to #2000 hopefully by the end of the year. Really loved the theme of this cache. It was our first time here to the lookout, and didnt even know it was here!. Lots of people around, but no one noticed our walk and the view from the GZ is really lovely too!.
A caching day out today, and lovely winter weather today considering the last week! We started out quiet late today arriving at Heatherdale Station in the late morning. We completed Mr Doctor's secret entrance, before walking onto Antonia park to pick up the remaining caching, onto a few local parks before arriving at Schwerkolt Cottage. It's a really enjoyable park, and our first time here. Last time we were in the area, we made it to Antonia Park, but the day was too late to get out here. We picked up an adventure lab & it's bonus, plus the multi.
We continued out day out walking the Mullum Mullum Trail picking up all of the caches along the way, the Yarra Dheran multi and into Hillcrest Reserve, before heading home after 18km of walking! Thanks for the day out.
