Day 2 on the hunt for Magic Mushrooms with StealthSeeker.What a cute little shroom.

While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..

TftcI set out to do more of this trail. After recent weather, some of the edges were a bit soft. And patches of mud towards the caches. Though today's weather was sunny. It was all going well until a flat tire finished the day. Love all the ones that were found today. Most logs were quick to find. Most were still safe and dry. Find #19

tftc, Despite the temp of 36 degrees, Made a start on this series today. As we only have a few days we will focus on those closest to our camp at Glenreagh rec reserve.

We throughly enjoyed doing this series. You have gone to so much trouble in creating such a wonderful variety of themed caches and thus making geocaching such an enjoyable activity. TFTC.

So I just jump out of the car and go to the fence with a glass jar sitting on top thinking that can’t be it? It wasn’t, I was wrong again.

Trying to pick up a few caches after work before it gets dark. Log damp but useable.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.

We're in town for a long weekend, and with Mother's Day festivities tomorrow, were given a free day to explore more widely today, so we decided on a drive along the Magic Mushrooms.
We managed 48 out of 49 searches in cool conditions, with some occasional spits of rain. We had no difficulty in our Forester, but some areas at present would prove difficult for a 2WD for sure.
Caches along our route we haven't logged had difficult parking, so we left for another trip.
We enjoyed the variety of hides, good coordinates and great hints - thanks to all involved fo your efforts!

Found today with my Dad while on a big cache drive around the area, We ended up getting 55 GC caches and 1 GA cache today. Had a nice time driving around the area, on the nice tracks and also the muddy 4WD tracks.

Having started at the letterbox we’re heading along the road. Thanks for this trail of caches. No logging trucks today but still a surprising few cars. Found this one nice and fast, signed the log and we were off to the next. Thanks for this scenic drive these caches have given us.

Today we embarked on a mission to find the remaining magic mushrooms, at least the ones that are published
We managed to find all 55 that we aimed for, again a wide range of unique designs with many different shapes and sizes. A very memorable and expertly designed series.

I have a spare afternoon off to go caching again, this time with the geodog as everyone else is working. well the housework is needing to be done but this is so much better for my mental health.....
The geotrail at the parking spot helped point the way, got slapped by a stick on the way out, lets hope thats not the way the afternoon is going to play out.

Day 2
The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.
