I am spending some quality time with my son camping on the Yorke Peninsula for a couple of days during the school holidays. My son gets the opportunity to get some hours up on his L driving requirements and I get the opportunity to do a little bit of geocaching along the way. Based in Edinburgh but spending the day in and around Innes National Park. A short walk here from the takeaway shop while waiting for our lunch to be cooked. Nice easy find here. A favourite point from me. Thank you Fishy Tales, for placing Gotcha Fishing Tackle - Reels for the geocaching community.# # #14856 # #
Quick easy find with Beary Organised on our our day out touring. Plan to have lunch at the Tavern. All good here. TFTC TNLNSL
Nice quick find with CherryRose while spending a few days in Point Turton. Lovely drive to Marion Bay for lunch. Left some stash for the kids and took some spare logs. TFTC SL.
Snaffled a couple of caches for the nearby jellyfish as the one cache I found was so degraded to be absolutely useless. Container crumbled every time I touched it and the log was so water affected you could not unroll it to sign it.Might be time for a visit to the caches to check on their efficacy.
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Staying in Marion Bay for a few nights, and the weather has been crazy. 40 degrees on the day we arrived, 40kmh winds the next day, so fishing was no good. Today, 20 degrees, crazy windy and raining. There was a break in the weather, so decided to go for a walk after being cooped up in the van all morning, and get some fresh air and some caches. Wandered around on a loop collecting smileys, and this was No 2 on the hit list. Got to the area near GZ and followed the geotrail in, and GPS indicated 0m. Looked around but found nothing. Turned around, and there, large as life, was the cache. Extracted the log and signed it, reassembled, then replaced all as found. Now, onto the last one for the loop.Gratias pro cache Fishy Tales

They like em big in this part of the world. Have taken a few spares to make up for all the ones that I have replaced along the way. TFTC
Revisit to Innes National Park after quite a few years. Still enjoy the views. Quite a few changes since our last time in the area, some good and some not so. Great scenic drive on a blustery winter's day. Heading back to the caravan in Yorketown but had to stop for this drive by. Headed into the thick bush with dread, but found the container quickly! Took a few supplies as forgot to bring my own geo kit on this trip. Appreciated. Tftc
I think because we had done Nano! Nano! yesterday Peas yelled “all hands on deck!” until she realised it was supplies and not a search for a log book
A quick find of the log book and we were all able to signed it.
I’m sure I heard a huge sigh of relief from Peas

Day 3 of wandering around Wallaroo with sandelf and Jolly0. Lured to Marion Bay by the prospect of finding a couple first to finds that look like they've been sitting there waiting for us to make this trip.
Found the cache and got very excited, until I took the lid off. Oh no, don't tell me it's one of those caches. On closer inspection I was relieved to find it wasn't and the log book was signed and returned. TFTC FishyTales

Today was the day for a trip to Marion Bay and Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park to clear a small cluster of caches from the map. Thanks for the cache Fishy Tales!
Nice quick find. Very cool cache. Found with SquidKid96 on day five of our honeymoon. TFTC
We should have completed this cache earlier so we were prepared for the power trails...until the next one we will be ready. Cool cache. TFTC
Off on our annual birthday caching trip, Purrfect Di, Mattycat and Jack coming along for the ride...
For Di's birthday today I found her several caches, one of which was yours. She loved them. She's a keeper She'll get around to logging one day
All out of tackle here... but a few spare pencils!!! A quick find after dinner as we're staying nearby Bigger than expected lol
We thank Fishy Tales for planning and maintaining this cache on our ever growing SA cache map!

Travelling all over wherever we can - searching, spotting hidden items and signing cache logs using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just a guess or plain old dumb luck
Heaps of the luck stuff really !!!
*Most of the online logs are composed and published with GSAK of course*.**

Beware ! Caching is a very hazardous activity!
Look out for sand, mud, floodwaters, snakes, surprise cliffs, roos, wombats, things falling from trees, bulldust, and floods, and try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall off your ladder...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- and do watch out for bugs !!! . [xx(]
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Great of all those placing quality caches out and about around the country areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and we can put an end to these long logs !!!

Goldy and Geo4Jimmy are staying a couple of nights on the Yorke Peninsula for a "must do" visit to Innes National Pars, as well as caches of course!
What a nice part of the world to visit, a real blessing to have in South Australia. Thanks to all cache owners for the tour of the area during our stay here.

I heard something about a badge level thingy for writing longer logs... so feel to ignore from this point onwards.
Thanks for going to the effort to prepare, hide and submit this geocache for me to find, another smiley for my geomap.
Thanks to those who do regular maintenance checks to ensure other players have an enjoyable experience when out in the field.
Your cache has been retrieved and the log book has been signed with a joint stamp reading "Jimmy & Goldy".

Up early today but had a more leisurely morning than yesterday. A bit of a coastal walk and the. Down to Marion Bay. Needed to find a cache on its 9th birthday for a challenge I am working towards. Picked up a few others there to make the drive worth while.
Then finished the geoart did a little happy dance. Huge thank you to the team behind fishy tails really appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining such a mega series for all to enjoy. It’s taken me over 5 years to complete.
After the geoart was done picked up a few AL and meandered my way home. Still so many places to visit always love a trip to the YP.
Added about 20 spares from the car to top up. If I’d planned my trip better could have made a visit to the superstore in advance TFTC

After an early start to the day in Edithburgh, we headed out on a coolish day with iluvtrekking to grab some finds in Innes NP and others a bit further afield. Empty container except for pencils! Thanks Fishy Tales
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We set off early on a cold and cloudy morning with the threat of rain, which fortunately didn't eventuate. We are enjoying the small towns, beaches, cliffs, history and ruins we encounter along the way. The supplies need topping up here, just pencils left. Thanks Fishy Tales.

Day 6 holiday adventures in SA. Nice big cache here which was unexpected! Many thanks!
We are camped at Yorketown to enable us to find a few more of the Gone Fishn' caches and while here we are picking up other caches that we have missed on our other trips to the Peninsular. This cache is in good condition and there was not a muggle in sight when we collected the cache. Our friends in Cooktown own a 'tackle shop' store and we love visiting there. SL TFTC
Spare logbooks for GC9TEZB added today, along with a heap of Election pencils ready to add to caches which need them in the area

Big! Love big! Day 7 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its the first day it has not been more than a chilly brisk! The Innes National Park and it’s caches was high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’m out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s today and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game
Had two nights in Pondalowie Bay camping. Now we are off exploring Marion Bay.
Last one for the day… didn’t realise this was the resupply for cache fixes as there were two probably gone and one broken one that I saw today.
Decided to give the jelly fish a crack this arvo, not all but a start. Please be careful of 46, a snake sprung out of the GZ tussock while I’ll was retrieving the cache.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
Fishy Tales, I found Gotcha Fishing Tackle - Reels today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

Wish we had done this yesterday as we certainly could have used those spare containers on the 'Anchor' today. TFTC Fishy Tales
Another day out and about in SA, Mrs Parkacruz had a slight headache this morning.... she doesn't blame the bourbon never the less we are happy too say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
Found with Geodaughter whilst both not wearing appropriate footwear.

The three of us were spending some time on Yorke Peninsula, and today we went for a drive around southern Yorke Peninsula.
We found the cache after a short search as we followed the geotrail in. Mr Tardis loves a big cache.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Fishy Tales.

Day 4 of caching Gone Fishn’ trail on Yorke Peninsula and a few off trail trads today for a bit of variety with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Wearing gloves and gators today even though it’s cloudy today it’s getting warmer and the less tourist friendly wildlife are on the move. Adding to the thrill of finding each cache was the view of perfectly grown cereal crops almost harvest ready forming a tapestry across the hills, some starting to crop with mega harvesters. Along the way are the odd blue tongue lizards, huge centipedes, flighty spiders, horses and alpacas, birds nesting and singing away, the obligatory late afternoon flies, and the biggest beetles, and of course what would a cache day be without upsetting a few ants!
So much effort has gone into setting up these trails, a few caches were tricky to find, some were under bushes that are now trees, some were found in undergrowth that has overwhelmed the hide, some were under rocks when they were hinting a bush post or tree. For the rest, most were easy, some were duplicated and some were missing. We may have added to rock piles making a couple of cairns.
Maintenance was done by replacing full or wet logs and missing or broken containers all completed with CO permission.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

Thanks for hiding. Took some supplies. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird and enjoying exploring the area.
Only 1/2 dozen containers left in stock. Restocked our supply by a dozen containers as we continue maintaining the fishing line trail. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. It’s a great day for caching. TFTC Fishy Tales

This is the 3rd of these that is the biggest micro I’ve found. Cache is all good
A big trip away to the yorke peninsula planned for the weekend travelling around touristing and have a look at sights I’ve seen before, plus camping over the 4 days wherever we needed up at the end of the day. Plus why not find 116 caches along the way for the trip. Despite the wind on the first evening the rest of the trip we were delighted by the beautiful weather.

Noth'n like having the right tackle. You have to reel them in with something.
Thanks to Fishy Tales and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
Found as we headed through town heading to Innes National Park. Cache all ok. Took several containers for when doing series. TFTC
Now Owl has supplies to do replacements. Just a tad too late for the only DNFs of the day!
We interrupted the jellyfish meal to go out and find a few traditional caches. We didn't need any fishing tackle from here, so we just stamped the log along with ilook4geo and went on our way. Thank you to Fishy Tales for placing a well stocked cache in case of emergency.
Had a good day's caching today with goingplaced2 and cleaned up the jellyfish and the starfish as well as a couple of others. All found logs were noted with two more names before being replaced as found. Thanks go to the CO's for each of these caches.
What a great idea for re-purposing! Found easily by Mrs matmob while Mr threw a squid jig off the jetty (unsuccessfully I might add). Thanks
I was there when the cache was plcaed.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Nice easy find while picking up some non powertrail caches. Took half a dozen with us today as we plan on continuing the trails for the next two days. TFTC Fishy Tales!
Walked here from flattening fauna 2.1km as it was the closest unfound and it was better to walk here rather than walk back to the accommodation to get the vehicle.
I like finding large caches they seem to be few and far between these days.
Didn't take any spares because not planning to find any fishy tails this trip. Will leave that to a geocaching weekend sometime with other mad people.
