Some clever thinking from jaamc_33335 helped locate this one! Fun cache and a clever hide! TFTC
I let my fingers do the looking, and straight away the Tie Fighter was in my sites.
Found with Grubbs1337 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mate. Thanks for the cache ??
Checked on cache, still in place, attracted to its surroundings. Up towards the fence
Found, Signed TFTC feel a bit silly I didn't find it the first few times. Thanks CO
Wow, finally found this one, been here a few times with Grubbs1337, think we completely over thought it.
Very fitting! Our last full day in Bendigo so before moving on we took the opportunity to make the most of the beautiful weather and got for a bike ride into town from our caravan park. We joined up with the O'Keefe Rail Trail and road past Lake Weeroona and onto the 'Bendigo' sign before returning via as many parks as possible, and a few caches, to be home in time for lunch. A great ride.In the afternoon we headed north out of town to pick up a few more caches. A good day!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GarthBane.**SKI Pair****
DNF spent along time looking with ITWimdy didnt want to stick my hands in a rusty wreck used sticks, phone camera and a torch no luck.
2nd time looking for this one. Still no luck. I might give up on this one. Can't make myself put my hands in. Too many ants and spider webs around
We were here about 2 years ago and logged a DNF, again a DNF today. We were a bit worried about sticking our hands where they dont belong after seeing a few brown snakes around lately
The very mention of a micro in the bush seems to make my brain shutdown. After 1 find & 1 DNF in this area, and my dodgy phone GPS, I wasn't remotely hopeful of finding this......... I'd already checked out when I decided to have a proper search.......... and woo hoo I found it!! Many thanks
An unusual situation for us instead of being in lovely warm Queensland we are hiding around cold old Victoria. Medical reasons and caravan repairs have us staying here and we will be looking forward to finding as many caches as possible while we are here. SL TFTC
Having a bad day. Arrived at gz and began a systematic search. Hadn’t got too far before jagging my hand a was leaking blood so abandoned my search Maybe another day
Found it pretty quickly, did cut myself on the wreckage but that’s part of the fun!! TFTC
After not finding it on a cold frosty morning enlarged the search before having a last look before giving up,
It turned up where I had looked before
Thanks for maintaining the cache

Suscoe was out and about in the Bendigo area today.
It was a delightful day, cool but sunny and it turned out to be mild by the afternoon.
We saw a terrific range of caches and countryside today.
Thanks to GarthBane for this hide, did a few laps and then spotted the hide.

Back in Bendigo with Rebel Acts for a few days of caching fun, It's great to see so many new caches around town.
The weather wasn't the kindest ,sun was absolutely baking but still had a great day of caching.
Cheers for the cache.

I had been thinking about a trip to Bendigo for over a month so that I could find My centroid cache and with an event in town this weekend plans were made to do a few days caching with My good mate Omegaman1971.There are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Loved the ones we did in the series, will target the rest on or next visit. FAV from Me.

In Bendigo for an appointment, after the cracking was done I was off to stretch n walk around.
Ive had my eyes on this little cluster of caches, out at Huntly, for a while now. So seeing as i was, kinda, close. I decided to tackle them this arvio. A couple of drive bys and a few walks and i had the collection sorted.
A cool little group for a pack of quick fire smileys.
Awww man you gotta be kidding me... the mozzies were loving the shadows at GZ. Thankfully the correct piece of tech could be deployed that made the cache easier to locate....
RIP to the 100+ mozzies that met the insect spray though... yep new TOTT this year. Good ol' can of Raid

After attending the nearby CITO, LeeLee teamed up with OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie, chooknchunk, Geoturtle37 and Papi4506 to pick up some nearby caches.
A short walk in and it wasn't long before RoamingHpwie had his hands on the neatly tucked away cache.

One of 4 trads that I located prior to the tree planting cito in the area.
A perfect winter morning for caching.
This neat little hide was found without need for a tetanus shot!
Thanks garthbane

After the tree planting CITO, Chook joined up with Geoturtle37, Papi4506, OzHockeyChick, Roaming Howie, NoWorries, nirgalagrin and Crack'n'LeeLee for a super fun afternoon of chasing caches in the backblocks and bush of the Huntly area. This was one of the caches we found. Certainly looks like a Tie Fighter down. TFTC GarthBane.
A great group of cachers set off to find a few caches before we went our separate ways. Some of us twisted and turned whilst others resorted to their cameras. The camera won. Thanks for the cache.
I haven’t spent much time caching in Bendigo, so with a couple of events on for the weekend I decided to team up with OzHockeyChick for some caching adventures. After swagging it overnight, it was a day of tree planting and caching before heading home.
With many hands and cameras this was a relatively quick find. Even if trying to guide my hand, to where the camera was showing it should go, took a few moments.
Thanks GarthBane for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

The search for the cache took a lot longer than it should have. A little care was required during the search but I finally managed to feel the container and retrieve the log. Thanks to GarthBane for the cache.

Mr little blue wren came up with the goods a clever hide
Signed log and replaced where found TFTC

We almost gave up. Great hide, hardest one in the set. Kids loved the theme.
Since it had stop raining decided to go for a walk ended up being 5km
I'm pretty sure I was in the right spot but had no luck
I didn't want to stick my hands into to many places a lot of spider webs around and nasty looking ants didn't feel like being bitten.
Hopefully I'll find it next time

We conducted a sweep of the area. Unfortunately, we couldn't sight the wreckage... Returning to base

Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
Made our way into here and parked the Geocruiser close by.
We made our way to the wreckage and now to find the flight brown box that held the log.
Lots of putting hands in places where I would rather not but Gemma soon spotted something and we added our names to the log.
Thanks GarthBane TFTC.

A fabulous day of caching with Posums around Bendigo saw us at this cache. Lots of searching here but finally got it. Thanks
With the temperature rising I was hesitant to stick my hands in places I could not see. After many investigative photos taken and some fancy tap dancing around the bull ants, the hide revealed itself!! TFTC
Eluded us today, good hide Thank you. Hopefully next time we will have a smiley. We must mention the great theme and the scene of the hide for the cache was just excellent, they matched wonderfully. well done!
Found it very good hiding place clever camouflage! Found it after about 10 minutes!
No luck finding the cache today, have to come back another day for another attempt
Yep, theres no doubt about it this one takes some searching, and i love the story which goes with it, very inventive, thats a fav point from me.
After giving up and then deciding to have another look I finally found it (my phone camera did)
The force was not with me today and the darkside won this round, but the battle is not over, the force will awaken
wow that was a hard one! geoprincess didn't give up and used the power move "bendy neck" to find it finally TFTC
Another lockdown lifted and it was great to be back exploring again. As we came to the area I had said where I thought the cache was but we search the obvious spots first. Them went with my gut feeling and we soon had the cache in hand. Was a nice place
Another day and another trip south to fill our calendar.
Thanks for you addition to the game board.
We are enjoying your creative containers.

Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks GarthBane (F=419 H=36) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

FOUND IT!!!! tytaylor19 and i came back here for the 2nd time (this time during the day) but oh my gosh this cache was soooo hard! we searched for like half an hour until we finally found it together! i was reaching from one side, and ty was directing my hand from another angle haha! so happy! tftc
WOW. What a camo. So many places this little thing could have been. 1 previous failed attempt and an extra 30 mins this time hunting in the DAYLIGHT with catherinec19 we finally hit gold when my cheeky device caught a mere glimpse of its presence. A quick coordination effort from the both of us yielded another find. TFTC you absolutely eluded us for the longest of times. Fave point from me )
Partner and I looked for about 30 mins with no luck. We will try again next time
Out and about before lockdown kicked in with LittleBoss2.
This was a tough one. We knew where it would be, but so many places to tuck your hand under and through. Got there in the end.
Thanks again GarthBane

Picking up a few more Star Wars caches before we leave Bendigo this morning. Happy to see a few more new traditional caches in the Bendigo region. This one took a while to put our hands on, and the kangaroos in the next paddock were NO HELP! SL at10.35am #7942 TFTC GarthBane

What better way to learn about local history and happenings than spending a day around the Whipstick and Box Iron Bark forest areas north of Bendigo finding geocaches such as this.
What a cleverly themed cache - we were using GPS, rather than Galactic communication today!
Thanks GarthBane for placing very interesting caches on the gameboard.

Another fantastic geocache brought you by GarthBane.
Will admit that this one took me a little longer to find that I would have liked, but that is a testament to the creativity of the hiding spot.
Not overly difficult if you know exactly what you're looking for, but this one definitely will stump a few newbies.

Out with Claybol and glad to put my mitt on this after a short search. We could have spent quite a while here. Great way to use existing infrastructure here. Thanks again. Last one today for us as we have a passenger making sounds to wind up our adventure today.
This one kept me searching a bit longer than intended! Was about to give up when finally I spotted the hide and could sign the log!!! TFTC
Find #2485 for me. Found the wreckage and salvaged the micro with jtnsilo at 1:04 pm. As we got out of the car, my daughter asked if this was the last one, so I abandoned all hope of finding any more around Eaglehawk (which was to be my next target area) but at least I got to find the remaining ones in Huntly which was my main goal for the day. Luckily I had jtnsilo with me since an extra pair of eyes was definitely an advantage here, and it was jtnsilo who spotted the well-hidden container after a short search. Again, all was in excellent condition. Thanks for another fun Star Wars-themed cache GarthBane!
