While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..

TftcI set out to do more of this trail. After recent weather, some of the edges were a bit soft. And patches of mud towards the caches. Though today's weather was sunny. It was all going well until a flat tire finished the day. Love all the ones that were found today. Most logs were quick to find. Most were still safe and dry. Find #7I was standing right next to this one, wander of searching, and came back to the right spot. This time, i was facing it instead of standing with my back, to it

I was freaking out at this one as the breeze was creaking the branches above. I did a few u turns and twists as I was overloaded worrying about snakes, rough terrain, wind, creaking, find the cache! I didn’t give up and found the tap I needed to turn all the distractions off! A tap cache, clever creation.. TFTC

Decided to take a trip down a track I haven't travelled before. TFTC.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.

We're in town for a long weekend, and with Mother's Day festivities tomorrow, were given a free day to explore more widely today, so we decided on a drive along the Magic Mushrooms.
We managed 48 out of 49 searches in cool conditions, with some occasional spits of rain. We had no difficulty in our Forester, but some areas at present would prove difficult for a 2WD for sure.
Caches along our route we haven't logged had difficult parking, so we left for another trip.
We enjoyed the variety of hides, good coordinates and great hints - thanks to all involved fo your efforts!

Found today with my Dad while on a big cache drive around the area, We ended up getting 55 GC caches and 1 GA cache today. Had a nice time driving around the area, on the nice tracks and also the muddy 4WD tracks.

Was caching with Wandering Me and Baby Birt on 29 Sept, on a 'shroom hunt but delayed logging until today for October mountain climbing souvenirs.

No way in the world I was going to remember all those hint instructions in the right order as they were relayed from the car. Just followed the compass and found the 'shroom. A wee bit black in there.... TFTC earthly65.

Great Huge parking place just past GZ these days. I came away covered in black here but thats normal for me caching in past burnt bushland. I wonder if it happened in the 2019 fires. tftc

The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.

Found at 9:41 AM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
Overshot GZ by about 50 metres and had to make our way through more scrub than we intended. Found the typical hiding spot and managed to avoid most of the char [B)]

Today we set out on a mission to find as many magic mushrooms as possible, the weather was perfect and we managed to find 55 with no DNF's.
Great to see such a large variety of creative and unique designs.
