Back to Port Sorell today to hopefully find the last of the caches here as we try to get to 25k by the end of November. Its a futile quest but if you dont try it has zero chance. We had a lovely day walking the reserves with splendid weather and a tasty picnic lunch.Didnt have much hope for this one but it was found exactly where the hint said. TFTC
This one took a little while as there were a few possibilities! Tftc and the lovely walk
Back in Devonport for a few weeks, looking after grandchildren. A great opportunity to go on adventure each day.Having a few days break in Port Sorrell, so picking up a few in the area. A nice walk around this reserve area and found after a short search at GZ.Thanks Spreyton22 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache. It was a great series.

Making the weekend a 5-day weekend it's nice to get outside and find some caches on such a nice day. All caches in this area were easy to find a good area for people that are starting off with caching as most of them are on the larger size,
Thanks, Spreyton 22 for placing their caches for our enjoyment,
This cache was an Easy find

Camped in Deloraine today , off to Port Sorell for a few caches I missed on the last trip and any new ones which have gone down. TFTC
Thanks for the cache Spreyton22.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were visiting Port Sorell for a few days r&r. The last time we visited this reserve there were maybe seven or eight, and within a month of returning home a whole bunch of new ones popped up. So off we trotted around the reserve today. It was a lovely sunny afternoon, and we did speak to a horse rider who spotted two snakes, but we kept our eyes out and saw none.
These were all nice straightforward finds - thank you.

Found the cache easy enough but did wonder about the validity of the clue.
Also found a pair of red glasses at cache. They are only magnifying ones and not prescription ones so if anyone knows of a cacher who has lost them send us a message.
Thanks Spreyton22 for bringing us back to this reserve for some more smileys.

We thoroughly enjoyed the walk around this reserve. The coordinates were all accurate and the caches quite easy to find. However at least six of the caches had fallen from their hiding place or their camouflage had fallen away. One even had a few chew marks in it from some wild beast. We covered the caches with fresh camouflage where necessary.
Thanks for this series.
Thanks for this series.
After the heavy rain last night, we didn't know what to expect but apart from a couple of area the ground was solid underfoot. Reasonably accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Spreyton22 for the cache and the series.
Hi Spreyton22....needed a cache or two for my calendar fill in so thought I best round up the remaining caches in the reserve before the wet weather sets in.
Arrived early to find all the 5 remaining caches which were all in top condition.
Many thanks for placing these caches for us all to enjoy....much appreciated...cheers ST.

Spending the day geocaching in the North and North West collecting as many yet to be found caches along the ways practical.
We consciously saved the Hawley Reserve until after lunch and given it was a late lunch it was late afternoon by the time we got started. What a great reserve it is and we really enjoyed the walk. We ended up with 12/15 caches and we believe the three caches we didn’t get have succumbed to back burning . It certainly appears that very very recently there has been spot back burning throughout the reserve. The three gzs were we didn’t find the caches were very burnt and we found remnants of the caches at a couple of sites. Overall we really enjoyed this series and appreciate you creating and maintaining it. We have given one favourite point for the whole series.

Lovely morning for a spot of caching eh ! On our way to the current geo-hotspots around Port Sorell/Hawley. There is always the excuse to have really good coffees at the Trend Shed. We've travelled this route previously, so now we're back to fill in a few more gaps. Leaving some for another day though. TFTC Spreyton22
Second find on a clear crisp morning. Found with GeoMaggie2, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.
Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie. And Angus.Lovely walk in the early morning nice and crisp and the sun is shining
Out with Asset60 who is training for a big walk soon and leaning geocaching too. TFTC

I would appreciate any updates on the co-ordinates. I had trouble getting my hand held GPS and phone agreeing on the co-ordinates.
A generous hint and obvious location should also help the cache hunter.
