Our final day in Tamworth before we need to move on, so we decided to clean up some remaining caches close to town as there was rain predicted for the early afternoon. As predicted, it arrived but not before we had found a variety of trads, multis and puzzles as well as tree fishing caches relatively newly published. It was a day with some good variety but also a few DNFs.Thank you to the cachers of Tamworth for an enjoyable and productive time here.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Whitey Wiskas.**SKI Pair****

Reperio 19:31Day 1 of our tour of Tamworth caching trip, and Master Vitruvius and I left Orange and headed towards Tamworth for a few days to visit friends and tackle the large number of caches that have been placed since we were last here some five years ago. Our goal for today was to work through the Somerton Safari series and then on to the Sticks and Stones series, followed by a few others in the area to finish.Gratias Whitey WiskasAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

When my wife and I are driving by picking up some roadside caches we have a single rule*. If the cache is on your side of the car then you are the one to jump out and grab it.

Nor for the asterisk. There is a rule that trumps the car side rule. Of the driver can park the car within 3.0 metres of the cache than regardless of the side the passenger must get out and grab it. tftc

Sorted thru and solved the puzzles yesterday when it was raining. Took a drive this morning to do some searching.

A muddy ditch to traverse to get to GZ. Barky dogs across the road can get out but don’t seem to want to. Cache all good.

Our last day in Tamworth, we decided to head to the new housing area of Windmill.
That was quite a ditch to jump to get to GZ.
Thankyou Whitey Wiskas for placing this cache.

Rather than drive straight home we took a roundabout route to find a few caches in the Hallsville/Attunga area. No chance of finding them all... there's so many we'd be still there this time tomorrow. TFTC Whitey... you're not wrong about that gutter, fortunately it was in my bounding range. Big Grin

TFTC. We are camped at Tamworth on our way to the Mega in Dayboro. We decided to spend a few hours searching for caches around Hallsville before visiting friends in town. All caches were found in good order and co-ords were good. A good day 31 finds and two we did not find due to other reasons , so not logging as a DNF.
The Neighbs drove passed and asked whether we had found it. Funnily they are camped next door to us at the Paceway.

As it was the first fine day today for quite a while, we set off to head north with ilook4geo, on a trip that had been delayed from last week.
While in the area we added a couple more to the list. We negotiated the gutter here OK, grabbed the cache and signed the log with two more names. Thank you to Whitey Wiskas for this cache placement.
