We cheated on the AdLab by driving parts of this and of course we didnt make note of the important locations, so relying on memory and rusty maths we calculated a spot. We got to our GZ, things looked promising from a Geo viewpoint and voila cache in hand.Great container, very on theme. All the creatures an unexpected & unwanted bonus!Favourite given for the whole adventure
Tftc what a wonderful couple of hours in the rain and classic caching, i used to work near here and park right here. gotta love caching.
Visiting Melbourne from Port Macquarie.Today we ventured to the Mornington Peninsula, primarily targeting mystery and multi caches. The mostly clear and warm weather was a pleasant change from the wet and cold conditions of the last couple days.Fun little adventure and a great little hide to top it off. Thanks for the cache
Nice day for an adventure lab with a bonus cache. Nice camo. Thanks for the history.
Something special or unusual goes here:We arrived way too early for the ferry! [^] So we did the Adventure lab and then went in search of the final. It started spitting as we walked there. Cache soon located thanks to hint. Great camo that gets a favourite point from me. [:X] Then the rain got heavier so we went and found some cover. Just in time as it started to hail. [:(!] A few minutes later the sun came out and we still had time to stop at a cafe for coffee! The Generic Bit:Both Bri and Sal are on the road for a holiday. [^] Holiday - Not a caching trip. This means if we are stopping for a rest, lunch, dinner or to see something whilst on holiday and there just happens to be a cache nearby then maybe Bri can go and try to find it. Maybe. Day 13 : Today was shortest drive for the trip. From Rye down to Sorrento and onto the ferry, cross to Queenscliffe and onto Geelong. Today we did some Adventure Labs and a few other caches along the way. **SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks jaamc_3335 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
After visiting a nearby street library and cache, we headed over here for a look at this AdLab.After the visit to the pier we found our way to the station. I have explored much of this area and never knew of this feature before. Thank you for placing this AdLab and excellently themed cache for our enjoyment. Added to our list of Favorites.
A lovely afternoon geocaching and AdLabbing around the Peninsula. An area that I know well, but surprisingly, I visited sites not seen before.A great Adventure and an excellent hide at GZ. Thank you jaamc_3335 + KPatt17 for the fun addition to our day.
With an early morning trip across the bay from Queenscliff we worked our way through the labcache, counting at each stage until we had the necessary numbers to work the maths out for the bonus. Still quite early we were able to make a muggle free search at gz to find the fun cache. Thanks jaamc_3335 for the tour of Sorrento.A favourite point added.
We are staying at Rosebud for a few days and headed down to explore Point Nepean today. I decided to ride back while the rest of the family drove.
This gave me the opportunity to complete the Sorrento AdLab that we'd started the previous day before catching the ferry to Queenscliff. After a little maths, (which was a stretch, as I hadn't recorded the answers I needed, and had to recall them from memory), I made the cleverly concealed find. Fortunately no muggles about, so I was able to retrieve, sign and reset without incident. The outer container is a tiny bit damp, but the inner has kept the log quite dry.

Got it! Now we have to rush! Aargh. Word of warning: don’t do this on the way to the ferry!
A great interesting lab. Good to see an appropriately themed final bonus.
Found out and about on the 2023 trip for the Rutherglen Mega. Thanks to jaamc_3335 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
A perfect day to head down for the arvo and complete the adlab to then solve the location of this cache. We caught on early with the adlab on what to take notes for, so not a problem. Normally we'd avoid Sorrento but coming during the week was most pleasant and not too busy! We enjoyed the creativity of this one! A wall back to the car got is an icecream and coffee.

I was needing a puzzle cache find for today so I decided that I would head down South to this one.
I actually enjoyed the AdLab part of this one for a change, as I learnt something new, I didn't know that there was once upon a time, a stream tram service that ran through these parts.
I nearly came unstuck though as I didn't read the cache page for this one beforehand as got to the end and then realised that I should have been recording some numbers, lucky for me my brain cells were working today and I was able to remember what was needed.
**Thanks to jaamc_3335 for placing this cache.**

Today we found Port Phillip Bay to Bass Strait Bonus Cache on our travels. We are on weekend away before the Christmas madness takes hold and thought a few caches were in order before making our way back to the city. The Chief wanted to do this lab series and cache as he has very fond memories of staying in the old tram depot that had been transformed into a holiday home by a family member after the demise of the tram itself. Sadly demolished now but it brought back many happy summer memories of his mum and dad, swimming near the pier and of the aquarium that was nearby.
Thanks jaamc_3335 for being part of our geocaching fun.

A trip to check out all the awesome places in eastern Victoria. TFTC.
Great AL and a bonus to boot. Excellent.
Great AL and a bonus to boot. Excellent.
With one exception we enjoyed visiting each of the locations for the Adventure Lab. The exception was the last location where there were two good sized snakes across the gravel path. With all the data, we calculated the coordinates for Gz and were soon there. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find of a very well planned and constructed cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks jaamc_3335 for the Adventure Lab and the Bonus. It earns a favourite from us.
Spiffy- and I along with my geopartner and geokid took advantage of the only sunny day this long weekend to go costal.
Lots of traffic today bit we managed to get the first 3 clues with some team work. The ñast 2 had more options to park and we enjoyed the views.
Nice craft work at GZ.
Thanks to jaamc_3335 + KPatt17 for the fun and the adventure.

The best weather day of the long weekend (for some) so we headed to the peninsula like of others as well. Geez it was busy in Sorrento. We had a nice day with fish n chips on the beach for lunch and ice creams for an afternoon snack.
We arrived and thankfully with multiple of us one could stay with the car (because there was no parking anywhere) and the other could get the clues.
Nicely done on hiding a regular size in the middle of town as well.
Thanks jaamc_3335 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

I'd completed the preliminaries for this one while on our bushwalk down this way in February this year but wasn't able to nab the find for the smiley that day and it's been sitting in the 'to be found' pile ever since.
With a couple of days down here for some R&R, I figured that it might be time to put it to bed so after a spot of lunch just up the street, I mosied on down for a quick find of the cleverly disguised stash at 12:15.
Well worth a fave point.
TNLNSL. Thanks jaamc_3335 + KPatt17.

Found with CJDenno. We just came off the ferry and noticed an adventure lab on the pier. Without hesitation, we walked to the pier and got the answer correct. We then went to the old train tracks, went towards town, and continued the adventure lab until we were able to see the Bass Strait. We then did the puzzle and went to GZ.

PrezDough and I had a mini adventure today to the western side of the bay to attend an event and a CITO.
We left the CITO and wondered if we would get to the ferry in time for a 3pm departure.
Sue enough 1 minute to spare and the ferry-loading gods waved us in. We initially weren’t bothered if we didn’t make it as there is a plethora of caches in Queenscliff to be found. At least that was our plan if we didn’t make the trip.
Soon enough a ferry ride to Sorrento for the first time and then off with the car.
PrezDough informed me that we “just went past an AdLab…. Ahhhh, ok…!
Park up, make the walk back to the first WP of the AdLab and input the answers. We made sure to note these down as we went.
After clearing them WPs up, we made our calculations and did a confirmatory check and sure enough, the GZ is on the way home.
Quickly find a park near GZ and PrezDough makes the find.
We now decide that it’s time to hit the road and get home ready for a another exciting work week.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.

A fitting bonus location and nice camo after the tram ride to the back beach of Sorrento. We enjoyed our visit here and left a TB to continue its travels.
Out in Sorrento today and wanted to do my first adventure lab. Worked my way along the trail and collected the information I needed. Worked out where to go and headed to gz. After a short search I found the well camouflaged cache.

Early morning cycle to Sorrento where I completed the AL and collect this bonus. Hit the pier just before sunrise to a stunning sky. Waypoints were very interesting and enjoyed the seat at the final where I work on this bonus. Quality hide at the bonus GZ. All in great condition. Thanks for placing the adventure lab and bonus J&K #1409
Such a lovely day for a bit of geocaching .. I was back in the area to collect the bonus cache for a nearby Adventure Lab.. I had forgotten to write down the answers to each of the lab caches in the series but managed to work with what I remembered and came up with useable coords .. loved this location and loved it even more when I found the cache. .. thanks jaamc_3335 for placing the cache and for sharing this piece of history with us.

After attending the "Fancy Some Pie on Pi Day?" at Black Rock, we spent the rest of the annual Labour Day Holiday close to the bay. Our last stop for the day - it was a real bonus after completing the intriguing adventure around Sorrento. Ferry trip home now!
Thanks jaamc_3335 for placing such interesting caches on the gameboard.

Finally completed the last couple of the AdLabs so some quick calculations soon had me at the final for a quick find. Not being from this side i learned much about the history here TFTC
I started this adventure a month ago when I had to pick my brother-in-law up from the ferry. Yesterday my husband and I completed the next three locations before the rain became too heavy and uncomfortable. Today we came back to complete the last location and find this bonus cache.
We had visited and holidayed on the Mornington Peninsula for the majority of our lives but we enjoyed the additional information that you provide at each location.
Thank you jaamc_3335 + KPatt17 for this cache and the Adventure Lab.

Nicely made final, and a great container.
Thanks for the history lesson, Robmc.

Down Sorrento for the arvo working at the community house, but had time for a few finds.
I'm sure I parked out the wrong location but we soon spotted the cache.
Cheers for the jaamc_3335 + KPatt17

We didn’t notice this one the other day after doing the ad lab, we headed off in a different direction. We got back to camp and sat down to have a look and see if we could work it out…. Or not. Hmmm our first attempt was wrong. Kenbryl then mentioned we had a number wrong. Hmmm that put us out in the water. In the end we pafd a coord check. Maybe I’m just really bad at using a calculator!! Lol!! Anyhoo, we got there in the end and found the well hidden cache. Tftc
After doing the adventure lab 3 days earlier we must of overlooked this bonus. But kenare was onto it and heading back this way today to catch the ferry we grabbed the bonus for a bonus to our trip….tftc
We missed this one the other day but swung in here before getting on the ferry and heading home. Tftc
Did our first lab cache today, nice walk over to the beach then an easy find. Cache container is covered in slimy slugs again.
Popped in the check on this cache today!
Now spider and slug free - mind you there was only 1 spider and a couple of fat slugs! Unfortunately the old tram part of the log container seems to have gone missing off to eBay to get a new tram
Happy hunting

Insects galore when you get to it. Watch out for the spiders too. I think it is more their home than it is the caches. Thanks for the series. TFTC
Found it , I loved doing the adventure lab, luckily I could remember the numbers because I didn't write them down. Anyways cache found all in good order. Log signed. Tftc
Didnt realise there was a bonus cache until after. That's ok I thought, I'm sure the answers will all be recorded in the app... no. No they are not. I put the brain muscles to use and was pretty sure I got all the numbers right but the coords looked out. Double checked and thought they were still right. What was wrong... my math. My math was the issue. Loved the actual hide. Thanks for the adventure
Thank you very much. Wind had the gps bouncing around but we got there! Very cool
Down in Sorrento doing some maintenance so I decided to do this Adventure lab cache. I was particularly impressed with the station which I had never seen before despite being here many times before. The lab cache was straight forward however I forgot to write the answers down. Having completed the calculation I needed to revisit one of the locations to get the correct answer (again). With the correct answers I drove to the nearby Gz. I had been here before too, and in-fact I remember a cache being here once long ago. Thanks to the clue the cache was soon found. Thanks jaamc_3335

Excuse the belated log. My efforts back in April were futile due to circumstances beyond my control that left me frustrated. I hadn't even completed the AL back then anyway and had only done one other in Frankston. This AL was great but I ran out of time to get this right after needing to get to an inspection. My only downfall was not making note of the answers required for the puzzle as I assumed the app would store them but perhaps not. A couple of the answers I had remembered and I returned to a couple of Wp's to double check and was rewarded with dog crap on my new shoes. I got back in the car and my buddy and I were like, did you fart? What's that smell? Oh no!
Worked out the co-ordinates for this near the final location. An electricians van was parked right at GZ with all doors open so I thought I may have an audience when retrieving but that wasn't the case and a really well done cache was found and signed away from prying eyes.
Thanks to the CO's for placing this.

With a beautiful day weather wise predicated we thought that we would make the most of it and head off down to the Peninsula basically targeting two Adventure Labs and also anything else that came along.
We really enjoyed this adventure lab and learnt quite a bit while we were doing the different stages. We also learnt that we had problems counting as we messed up the first and third locations and had to have a few tries but all in all we had a great time and eventually got what we need to work out gz and sat in a very picturesque spot while we sorted it out. Once we had the co-ords we were off to gz where we were very happy that there weren't many muggles today and a much larger than expected cache was discovered.
We happily added our name tot he log and a favourite point to the cache page for the adventure and the hide.
Thanks very much for the lab and the bonus.

I am not gonna lie, I saw this one pop up when I was in QLD thinking to myself there is no way in hell I will be able to get this. Yet with each passing day I saw that no one had got it... continuously bugging me. Arriving back home and quarantining myself after getting test I just sat and waited, and waited and waited........ seriously why has no one done this.
"Bing" Mr. Buhfuhguh, you tested negative...... ah yes the words I wanted to hear...... wait has anyone actually got the final yet..... huh they haven't.
And with that I was off racing down to the bottom of the peninsula.
Quickly powering through the Adventure lab in a very familiar area, soon enough the cache was found in its sneaky spot. Thanks for the cache and the little adventure.

Not happy at all. Couldn't sleep last night so headed out at 1am from Rosebud to do the adventure lab, realised how tired I was and turned back home once I got to Rye. Today, I hoped some of the holiday crowd would have dispersed. Arrived in Sorrento, population tripled and could do nothing but turn back home again. Thanks tourists, make sure there's a spot for me in your street when I need to park.
