A nice quick find. It seems the previous finder put it up a little higher than my abilities could stand. A tool of the trade was used. Many thanks GarthBane for providing this game piece for our enjoyment.Greetings from Tatura
On our way to visit friends & thought wed get some caches on the way. Quick find. TFTC
*Found on the 21 Sep 2024 @ 2:26pm.**Cache find # 15826.* After attending an event at Sanatorium Lake, I then headed further North to see what else I could find.I detoured into town to find the caches around here. This was a very busy area here today as there were arborist tree climbing competitions going on, lucky for me this one was just far enough away from one particular tree climb for me to find the cache, sign the log and replace Without anyone knowing.**Thanks to GarthBane for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
Great little find. Paper needs replacing with a plastic zip lock bag cover.Thank you
The others in our group had already made a find here so it was only Geoturtle37 and myself that needed to sign the log. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
The cache crawl was on and this year apart from the Friday night dinner which I couldn't make it to I will be doing the whole crawl. Hopefully the weather gets better because it hasn't started that well. had to deploy the umbrella again here, but that doesnt matter. I made a quick find of this one while walking around doing the Adventure Lab. Thanks GarthBane for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
What a weekend... Aim for this weekend was to hit my 3000th Cache and have an awesome time on the cache crawl. Left early afternoon Friday iwh the muggle wife and headed up to Macedon stopping at a few caches along the way.Checked into our hotel in Macedon and then heading across to Riddell's Creek for the pre crawl dinner. A great crowd and some tasty food then it was back for an early night.Saturday morning I woke to a lot of rain that continued throughout the day, first stop was Sunbury for the 7am meet a few caches in the town and then up the road to Malmsbury for a pie and a coffee, next was onto Bendigo for lunch and a walk around the lake. After that it was on the road again to Colbinabbin for a cup of tea and to celebrate Roaming Howies 18,000 cache. The painted Silo's are amazing... next was a drive up to Echuca to check into the hotel. After a brief rest and a walk along the river we heading to the pub for dinner, followed by a few drinks in the Gin Distillery. In the morning I headed over to NSW to grab a few ad labs before the breakfast meet and then it was back on the road again to Cussen Park in Tatura for the CITO followed by lunch. After lunch it was onto the final stop in Seymour to celebrate the mazing cache crawl and my 3000th cache on my 6th Anniversary of Geocaching. A massive thanks to every who helped organise and support the event, everyone who hid the caches and gave me pointers when I was stuck. What an awesome community we have. 793Km covered and 116 Caches found... not a bad weekend. Thanks for the cache and the hideLog Book has been signed and Returned or answers sent to cache ownerFind #2945

After doing the ad lab at the botanic gardens, I realised I hadnt collected this traditional. I quickly went back and it was an easy find. The log is slightly damp due to the moisture in the air today
Found by Mary and David at 09:05. Despite the rain, we managed to find this with umbrellas at the ready. Have been in Malmsbury before while doing an Ad Lab Our thanks to GarthBane.
While walking around the Botanic Gardens, doing the Adventure Lab, in the rain, I sheltered under a tree and found this cache.Thank you GarthBane for this cache,
Found in the rain on my second loop of this park as I missed this trad the first time. Thank you GarthBane for placing and maintaining Anyone for tennis ? for us to find today.
While at Malmsbury for the second event of The Great Victorian Cache Crawl, I endeavoured to find the local Adventure Lab whilst dodging in and out from under the trees. I saw there was a traditional nearby under the trees. I thought I would get a little break from getting wet as I made toward the trees but SPLASH! .. I stepped in a rather big puddle covered completely with fallen leaves. Oh well.. as my feet couldnt get any wetter, so I would now be able in a direct line to each of the AL stages. The cache itself was a quick find, it looked well protected from the sight of passing muggles. Thanks GarthBane for the cache.
Found while heading to an event near by. So why not try find another cache on a drizzly wet day why every time we come from SA. To VIC it rains Doh! TFTC
Cache # 827 - Quick find after we completed the adventure cache, thanks for the hide
Found at 2.30pm as we wandered around this delightful park completing the nearby Lab cache adventure. Despite the cold weather the sun was shining and the views were lovely.GZ was neatly out of sight. On our way back to the car we watched a young man looking at his phone, heading straight to GZ. Enjoy the hobby young man.TNLNThanksK&M
Well its the long weekend and I was wondering what to do so a trip up to Bendigo was called for. This weekend will help me continue along with my streak which I want to get to 183 as any more is just to hard to achieve.Im having to resort to detours on the way home from work but a weekend trip away will help me along and also any excuse to get out of Melbourne is a great idea. After a great day yesterday of caching and sight seeing and a good nights rest (after finding somewhere to stay as Bendigo appears to be booked out) its time for some more caching and to slowly make my way home.It has been a while since I have called into Malmsbury and I have a feeling that I will be back in a couple of months.Well I definitely wont be playing any tennis today as these courts have seen better days. After locating the cache I went for a wander around the gardens. Thanks GarthBane TFTC.
In Malmsbuey for the fayre and managed to neak this one without any eyes on us, tftc
Out caching in this beautiful area today located this great hide after a bit of a search luckily Im tall and could reach it. TFTC
LumpyR was feeling a bit under the weather so he left this find to LumpyJ. She quickly located GZ but was wishing the taller partner was with her. After a bit of a struggle the cache was in hand and logged. That's when the taller LumpyR decided he'd join the hunt! Cache was returned. Tftc.
Been meaning to get this cache for ages. Today was the day but we forgot a pen. TFTC.
Returning from a road trip to Bendigo to visit family we diverted off the Calder Highway via Castlemaine, Elphinstone, Taradale and Malmsbury before returning to the freeway. Whilst passing through Malmsbury we picked up this random cache. We did meet another cache in the vicinity of GZ but it was Mr Pooky who made a relatively quick easy find after checking the hint. TF placing this cache for us to find on our travels.
A quick stop in Malmsbury and it would be rude not to look for a cache while here. After a quick search we spotted the hide, thanks for the cache.
We found it who found it was ROSE and Holly Berry baba and mum and dad and grandad and nanny

Suscoe was heading southbound today.
A cold start to the day but the sunshine followed us as we travelled along.
Lots of interesting stops along the way to find caches.
Thanks to GarthBane for placing this hide, between the courts was pretty wet and so was the ground in and around the old clubhouse.
A couple to trains went by too.

Out and about with Echidna44 and our Muggle Husbands, we did the Adventure Lab and then headed off to this cache. Our GPSs rook a while to settle, and the cache was found after a short search in a clever location.
A devious hide, in beautiful gardens.
