This is our usual annual caching trip where we usually travel to a Mega (in NZ thus far) and/or cache the area, or select an area most of us haven't been caching before, to gain maximum numbers for all. Thanks to all the CO's for placing and maintaining caches in some stunning locations that we may not have visited had it not been foe geocaching.Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space unless stated for individual sign in's.TFTC.

Here for the 2024 Mega with a group from Auckland. Sorry for the generic logs. Thank you to all the cache owners who placed the caches to support my addiction. Most logs signed as SEAC.
We are in Dunedin for the Mega and this is day 3 of our trip. We planned to get numbers today so headed to the series down this way. All logs signed with SEAC (South East Auckland Crew) {unless otherwise required int he cache} as there are 5 caching names in the group; stik-a-crane, unclesam, NZTravellers, Keylev and us. A lot of fun was had, lots of laugh and memories made with friends.

Great view. Ive never been here before so thank you for putting a cache here. All good with the logbook. Bit windy though but then it is May.
A cool crisp day today. I enjoyed being out in the countryside. I hardly saw another soul all day. Once I got into the swing of things, most were pretty quickly found. Cheers and TFTC
A few days away caching with Nosynel. On our way to the birds. Tftc. Passing dust bowl from a logging truck as well!#9830
??This was the first ?? find of the day. Thanks for hiding it?? Two logging trucks ?????????? passed me as I made this find.
Been a Saturday and doing an airport pickup I decided to arrange for a permit so that I could collect the nearby "Lots of Zeros" cache. I gave myself heaps of time and had plenty of time to collect some of the newer park and grabs. I've been past this a couple of times in the past. All good here. Checking on where the plane is that I'm to meet I see that it's in the Merton area (near Karitane) and its altitude indicates that its going to approach from the south giving me a relaxed trip to the airport. Thanks for placing this.
*Caching today for the Celebrating The Solstice June 2023 souvenir.* ️
Took me a bit to find this one until I realised I was looking at the far too obvious here. First cache on a mission to one of the nearby power trails to collect just enough to fulfill the souvenir quota and get back home in time for visitors. Tftc.

working of completing my “finding smileys” x100 challenge for the month, I’m heading to the back of Waihola for the power trail, another one done T4TC
This road had been a regular road from Southland a few times caching Strath Taieri north of the line for it's boxes, bucket & cookie jars. Premium only Micro Monsters 25/27 found as a basic member monopolized every P&G the width and breadth of Lake Waihola/Waipori wetlands encouraging travelers to drive the gravel roads again for soggy logslips. Accidents on the main highway re-route peeps around here and it's a doosey of a detour to the airport. Used by farmers, hunters and logtrucks daily there aren't too many places to pull safely off the road. Not far from 5Lt bucket tucked away in branches, this P&G was easy to find and unbagged micro logbook was in hand to sign log. Familiar double stuffed pillcans have done their job here as peeps just rip the bags. We have only walked some way around the wetland for either the Kiwi guardian medal or the few archived caches at Titri creek so have taken in just a small part of the wetlands on our travels. ***Wheel** challenge **3rd** cache Trad 11pt* TFTC
Driving the back roads, on my way back to Dunedin from further south; this cache was on the way and it is indeed a fine view.
Thanks for this cache. BDC417.

On the road early this morning with 4Clubs with a mission to find all the new and newish caches in the area. This was our first find of the day. TFTC
Found on the way out from collecting the Te Reo series. Like with the others on this track it wasn't especially difficult, but the real point of the cache was the lovely view afforded to us at GZ. Thank you so much for this cache - it's nice to get out and catch those views once in a while, all while building up our statistics. Cheers!
I hadn't realised that you could see both at the same time. Interesting. Found with Debsnz. Thanks for placing this cache.
Another cache where the farmer was parked nearby. Did the 'look at the view and take a photo'. Found with Spoonz2
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
Time for another road trip for Ms_KR and KR, so we headed south toward Otago. We cruised around the Taieri area and over to the coast today. It poured overnight but the rain held off today which was cool. Another great day.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

A quick easy find at another good viewpoint, although one of the hint objects was pretty small. TFTC
A quick detour along this very scenic road today allowed us to grab a couple of caches while travelling home. TFTC [^]
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are now parked up in Mosgiel for a couple of days, exploring in & around the Dunedin area … we had been to the Sinclair Wetlands … thought we needed another cache … found with no issues, log completed & Cache returned … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #2,111 for us.
With daywalk and p&vee at top of hill a great view from here.#1 for the day's activities.
On our way to the Sinclair Wetlands and, since we're passing, it would be rude not to...
The Wednesday walker were meeting for a walk around the Sinclair Wetlands, but one car of geocachers couldn't drive past a cache this far from home. I blame the geocachingcar.........
Nice quick find, as I was driving by on the way from Berwick Camp back to Dunedin. It's a lovely area through here, especially with these views. Be careful of the thistles that are growing near the cache. TFTC.
Tripping back to Invercargill today with time for a little detour and the opportunity to turn some green dots to yellow smiles .
Quick find , thanks BDC417 for placing and maintaining this cache.

On my way to the Airport and got a call to say there was a half hour delay so thought yesssss time for a wee detour and a couple of newish caches in the area. Looked a bit dubious in the sky as I headed South but was a bit clearer when I got to GZ. Chilly out but had not too bad a view in the late afternoon sun which briefly made an appearance. No passing traffic today and an easy find TFTC
Quickly found here. Was surprised there was a bit of traffic on the road here today. Tftc
Bit of a damp morning but always good to explore new areas and grab a couple of caches
All good at GZ, TFTC

Very frustrating to see this cache and four others in the vicinity pop up over Easter. I was nursing a badly injured ankle suffered in a fall at a cache in Waipiata on the Saturday of Easter weekend and was immobile. Usually caches on gravel back roads would have had me jumping straight on a bike and heading off for a FTF attempt. So I had to sit and watch the FTFs pop up over the next few days. Fortunately the ankle was up to a ride today so out to this one via Akatore Road, then over to Table Hill and finally up to Berwick Road to clean out the five. This was the last of the five and I was almost back on tarmac after battling fresh thick gravel all along Berwick Road from Clarendon. So fresh that the Southroads bottom-dump was still working on the road. Cache was soon in hand and off along Berwick Road/Maungatua Road/Huntley Road to Outram, checking out all the new HV pylons and lines that have just been installed along the length of the road. A thoroughly enjoyable morning outing and I am looking forward to more BDC417 caches in the greater Milton area. TFTC.
On a mission on the way to see my sister - thought I’d come the back roads and do some caching along the way. Great View! Cheers TFTC
We were on a whirlwind trip around the South Island in pursuit of the PWGT caches. We had an unplanned and unexpected two days on Stewart Island so we were a bit behind schedule but not so much that we didn't have time to complete our mission.
While we were at the bottom of the South Island we got notification of some new caches. As we are not from this area we were not overly sure where some of these caches were. So once we were back at the campervan I loaded them up onto a screen big enough for me to get our bearings. Turned out we were due to pass fairly close to them on our way North.
The PWGT caches took precedence but once we had finished them, these two caches were the next priority.
We have never been on this side of the lake before, but after reading the description of a nearby cache it may not be the last time we are here. We just did not have time to follow through with everything we need to do to be eligible to find the other one.
So our focus was on this one. The wind was absolutely howling, the lake was brown which is the same colour it was when we were last in the area. Not sure if that is the usual colour or if we have just struck two windy days.
Stunning views from up here, on a calm day it would no doubt be even more stunning.
We pulled up alongside gz and gk leapt out to have a look, the cache was soon found and to our delight the log was blank. Our monthly ftf streak continues.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the {FTF} smiley
