Greetings from Geocaching.com

I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your My Cache Page and clicking the link of your cache.

I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Thanks,
swampgecko

We searched high and low for this cache, and couldn' find it. We didn't spend too long as the previous cacher had loged that the cache was indeed missing. (Only read that after 15mins of searching)...

A few days ago, my mates saw people looking around that area at night with mini-mags for something...definitely the cache.

Next stop was Football Forest.

Very clever hiding spot. This was my first cache, and it took my mate and I a while to find it. Unfortunately the cache was missing, all that was there was the magnet used to hold it in place. We had a look around to see if the cache was anywhere to be seen, but we couldn't find it.

Sunday is not the best day to look for this one as too many people around. We looked at the art galleries had a coffee while waiting for them to move on. Still did not find it. We think we found a clue when a lady came and asked what we were looking for. So with a fib we decided to move on and try another day. Good spot with a great view of the city

8am Sunday Morning - 1 June 2003

First cache for winter!

2nd time lucky for me on this one - found in less than 60 seconds on this occasion! Took a bit longer to retrieve however. Small hands would be an advantage.
I did actually go for a lunchtime walk during the week to this one, but abandoned the idea of searching for the cache due to people eating there lunch here.

traded nothing

thanks for the hunt

Paul

Loved it! We where in the area for other caches and we thought we'd squeez this one in befor my flight down to Canberra. Found it, speeded to the airport, some 'miss navigation' and off course I missed the plane... But, we got some caching done! Wink

Found today at 5:30. Walked around a bit without success, then sat down to have a think.... that helped... What a great location! Took Zippo the Travel Bug and placed a small gnome. Andrew broke the rubber band that was around the cache (it was a bit perished) but we replaced it with some elastic. Thanks for a great little cache hunt. Andrew and Maryan.

Performed a cache check today and dropped off the Zippo travel bug. It's not often that you will find a travel bug in a micro cache. This cache is really full now so I hope the next visitor can continue Zippo's journey to make some room. Cache is in reasonable condition. I will visit again soon to patch up a couple of little problems.

Even with six pairs of eyes, this one took us a while to find. The GPS seemed to be wandering all over the place. The kids chose some Ausralian stickers and we left an Indonesian 1000 Rupee note.

Thanks Tony and Jade for this challenging little cache.

[8)] met girl waiting to score drugs, she asked me if I had what she was looking for. Is that a GPS in your hand, or are you just glad to find my geocache?
[B)] Don't look at photo at the bottom of these logs, it almost gives it away!

Found this one after a little searching. Couldn't get a good fix at this location either, so I won't bother giving you my coordinates... Great views of the city and a creative cache...
Thanks Tony & Jade

Cache check performed today. Cache is in good condition. Congratulations to all who have found the cache so far.

Today we replaced the rubber bands holding the cache together. They had started to perish in the queensland sun.

We also replaced the sharpener that has been swapped out of the cache. Sometimes you just need to state the obvious. The sharpener is in the cache to sharpen the pencil. Please do not remove the sharpener, the pencil or the logbook.

Added a photo of the cache to the cache description.

Great spot in the middle of suburbia. The last visitor didn't see the magnet that the cache hangs on. It is still well hiddend and in good condition. Took/left nothing!

Found by HOT AND SWEATY consisting of Dale and Melanie this time with a special guest appearance by Paul.

Cache located after about 3 mins searching and reasoning.

Paul (who is unemployed and perpetually broke) took the $3. We took the pencil sharpener.

We left stickers and a figurine.

Replaced cache into its original location.

We found this cache today at 2:15 pm. This is the first time I have taken my whole family seeking a cache. What a GREAT spot. Really have to look hard for it. We did not leave anything and did not take anything. The view from the spot is magnificant, especially when it was starting to rain down in the lower areas. Congratulations to Tony & Jade for a top spot. Looking forward to many more finds. The family have the tast for it now and we are off to discover anothern one.

Great STUFF Smile

What a quaint idea for a cache. Took a long while to find it, but I would strongly suggestthat a smaller person be present.I have a hell of a time getting access to the cache coz I have big hands...

Averaged the position for 800 measurments and came up with the fix. I estimate accuracy to approximately 3-4 meters, as the geometry of the sattelites was a bit crappy.

1:30pm. Found it after searching for about 3 mins. Excellent stashing guys!! Didn't have anything small enough to put in so I left $3 in cache cash. Took a sachet of smints so now I'm minty fresh!

Thanks for the fun cache. The Ginger Loon

Knew we were looking for something small so made good use of the smallest person in our team. She was able to see under things that we adults couldn't and was quick to spot the cache. Very challenging keeping a cache like this secret in such a populated zone but it seems to be holding up fine. We found it at about 1215pm - not sure what time Bmac was here.
Happy hunting all.

Looked for an hour or so tonight, but to no avail. Even decrypting the hint didn't help. Will have to go back during the day, or at least with a torch. Not wanting to end the night in disappointment, I went and found Milo-ie Goodness, which was found very easily. [|)]

First ones to find this cache and first for the day. Nice and tricky hiding spot but as the explanation says, it can be seen without moving anything. Took nothing but left a US 5 cent coin. Averaged for 15 minutes to try and get a better fix. Thanks for a good fun hunt.
