This one took me a good couple of minutes to find, but after that, I stumbled upon it. Just be careful of sticks because they are sharp but a really good hide. I also really liked the mural walk TFTC
We Enjoyed the AdLab, seeing the murals and getting the information,Tongala is a neat little place with a good vibe.It didnt take long until we got the figures and were off to GZ.Unfortunately when we arrived at GZ we found the cache contents muggled and the cache trashed. Every page of the log ( blank or otherwise),had been ripped out and then strewn around.Thankfully the cache container was still all there. We gathered the pages and could supply a new and appropriately sized log book and bag..Then we gathered all the cache contents an replaced everything in the containerTFTC a favourite point from us, and given the green tick to log this cache which is ready to go
It was quite busy here today with the classic car meeting, but I still managed to get the Ad Lab finished and find the bonus. Great to see such a lovely town lively and busy today and thanks for a great Ad Lab.
Stayed in Echuca for the Great Victorian Cache Crawl events and now heading home via Tongala to see the murals. Thanks for hiding and maintaining this cache.
What a fabulous town and an impressive series of murals. Whilst in Tongala we also admired the small street art space and some of the cars at the Show & Shine. It seemed that it was really buzzing in this tiny town with a huge community spirit. As we found this bonus cache, we were joined by the CO who was doing maintenance. It was lovely to have a chat and receive an explanation of the murals on the cache container.
Cache had been muggled again, called in between Great Victorian Cache Crawl events at Echuca and Tatura to add a new logbook and restock with goodies.
We can here to find a couple of WPs in one AdLab and stayed to do this one! We loved all the murals and for an added bonus the town was heaving with classic cars here for a show and shine. And the extra added bonus was meeting up with the lovely CO at GZ just as she was replacing the logbook. A really enjoyable detour on our way to Tatura.
Doing a maintenance run o this cache with the CO and was given permission to log the find. Will do the Adventure Lab next time I am in the area.
love this adventure lab and it is awesome how local artists have decorated this town!
Found by The Empire + HExploring Echuca and Moama on a wet winter's day was a journey filled with historical charm and serene beauty. In Echuca, the cobblestone streets and well-preserved 19th-century buildings took on a new allure under the gentle drizzle. The rain heightened the nostalgic atmosphere of this historic port town nestled along the banks of the Murray River - it just made it a little hard to find a heap of tricky geocaches! Leaving behind Echuca's riverside charm, we embarked on the country roads that gently wound through expansive green pastures. Arriving in Tongala, known for its dairy industry and historical landmarks, felt like stepping back in time. The town's quiet streets and modest shops reflected its deep roots in Victoria's agricultural history. We explored its streets, stopping to admire old buildings and historic markers that spoke of a bygone era. Thanks for the cache, and the adventure Cybergran V.-M
We detoured into Tomgala this afternoon, saw some many awesome murals in town and completed the lab. So many more murals could be highlighted with caches. We found the container in the open so tried to hide it better. Cool container label. Signed and returned. TFTC
On a long weekend road trip and staying in the area so first thing in the morning we headed out for a walk around and we were nearly the only people around so that made it nice and easy. So much lovely art and a really nicely decorated cache at GZ. A favourite from me.Thanks Cybergran V for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.
LeeLee was away for a few days with Mum visiting beautiful Echuca and surrounds. A detour this way on the way home to check out these beautiful murals. My phone GPS for some reason decided not to work, but once in the area I just put my caching hat on and the cache was able to be found. A fantastic hide. A FP added. Cache in good condition. Thanks Cybergran V for creating for us all to enjoy. --------------------------------------------------------The nominees for the [**2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/2023-victorian-cache-of-the-year-awards/) have been announced. Find as many of these amazing caches as you can before voting opens later in the year. Fave here. Found the cache out in the open. Such careful decorations and care. Loved the adlab and bonus.tftc
The cache is its own mural, well done Cache and contents in good condition. Signed log, tnln.Thank you for both the ad lab, and this bonus cache.Geopooches enjoyed the walk around the mural locations.
Someone recently emptied out the cache taking the logbook and the goodies.Surefoot24 called in and put a new log book in, but I was in the vicinity today and dried out the container and restocked it, ready for the next lucky finder.
Seeing we were on our way back to Rutherglen from Bendigo I fulfilled a request to put a log book in this cache from the CO the other day. We made it our route. I put in log sheet we got from the Adelaide Great Leap Forward event. Its got its own container for extra protection from water, but not stone paper, unfortunately. Great container which is still in good condition despite its watery adventures.
On holidays with the geofamily and we headed here this morning for an explore to see the murals. What a beautiful little town. We enjoyed a walk and a pie for lunch then found the last stage and drove back in for the final. Great container. Unfortunately the log book is gone and there is just one page here. My cache bag is in the other car! Hopefully the next person has a logbook. Fav added for the fun and adventure.
It was lovely to see the murals on this journey, today at GZ sadly the cache was open and no insides were to be seen with the ammo can full of water too, I tipped it out but needs looking at sadly. On the way home from the Capital Geobash Mega in the ACT, today I made my way from Corowa/Rutherglen to Kerang via Shepparton, I had no real plan today other than find a few caches for a challenge caches plus visit some places on the back roads I was yet to visit. Thanks for the cache
Find #3030 for me. Found at 5:49 pm with my daughter, dog Bonnie and some muggle friends. The plan for us was to do the silo art trail in the Campaspe region today and the Tongala murals were on our list, so it was a nice bonus to see that not only was there an adventure lab cache here, but one specifically dedicated to the murals! So cool! Because of that, I had no trouble convincing my muggle friends to do this one and it was really nice to have the extra information from the adventure lab to enhance the tour. Believe it or not, this was only my fourth adventure lab, but I loved every minute of it! Thanks so much for the effort put into this one Cybergran and thanks for the perfectly themed bonus cache!
Suscoe was heading home today through the countryside to the east of the Northern highway.Another warm day was forecast and it was in the high teens before 9 am.A terrific wander through some small country towns and a few bigger ones as well.We enjoyed the caches we came across and found a few as we headed south. Thanks to Cybergran V for a brilliant Adventure Lab experience around this lovely little town. The mural project was a fabulous idea and we enjoyed wandering around the streets taking in the Ad Lab spots as well as the many other murals. The final hide was a stunner and we were so pleased to find it. A work of art in its own right.A favourite point goes to this cache for the wonderful way it brings people to Tongala to share in this delightful project and support the town as well as the art work. Well done Cybergran V.
The house is being painted, we have an excitable puppy, so we decided to go away for 5 days up to Wakiti near Echuca using our Travel Auctions win. Very good value with lovely owners. Virtually no internet though so catching up with logging now.
This morning we were heading off for a day of caching around Echuca and this cache was the last for the day .... Can you believe after doing all the Stages yesterday, amongst lots of other things, we actually forgot to find the bonus!!! So today on the way back to the holiday accommodation we stopped by and found it!! GMelb had a bit of a search before he put his hands on it.
TFTC Cybergran V, it was a great AdLab to do and a Fave Point from us!! GJMMelb

Pleased we detoured through Tongala today. Loved the murals. Thanks for the bonus cache
Found with LittleBoss2 on our way to a week in Yarrawonga. Thanks for a great adventure Val, adding to the faves, what an amazing container, cheers Phil
Phone GPS playing a bit funky here, but on approach from the right angle and an easy spot by GeoHubby. Fav point for the bonus cache, and the AdLab series around town
Wow, what a great tour we had around town to view the murals. Then a wonderful cache to find as a bonus. Thanks Cybergran V for your part in adding a smile to our map.
Detoured on the weekend and finally completed the Murals of Tonny AdLab. Definitely worth the stop and checking at the impressive mural collection the town has. I love the old wartime posters on the RSL. Also loved the container at GZ. TFTC Cybergran V
I am glad we did the detour to Tongala on our way back to Rutherglen. This was fantastic.
barb2e and I had to laugh when we read the writing on the cache.

Enjoyed the Adventure Lab and the walk around the town.
Very clever hide!
Thanks Cybergran V.

Phone was very distracted here and took a while to settle. I was also distracted by a very pleasant muggle who wanted to chat about all things trains. TFTC CybergranV
Completing this bonus cache was a lot of fun. A nice little drive around Tongala learning a little about the area, I find very interesting.
My coords were a little off but once I extended my search I could see the cache. It was such a funny moment for me. I grabbed the cache with so much force, not realizing it was attached to the other end. I think I nearly pulled my arm out of its socket. TBS even had a laugh at my expense.
A favorite for me today.

#5085 Our last find for the day as we head towards Echuca for some Spring plant shopping and what a beauty of a cache! Cannot recall our last visit to Tongala but safe to say it could be decades. The murals highlighted in the associated AL were really well done and have great detail but the cache itself, well it is the winner in our opinion as it brought us the biggest smile. Brilliant. Thanks for the fun Cybergran V, took the TB and dropped off a well deserved FP for your efforts here.
A wonderful cache container after enjoying the adventure lab around the town of Tongala.
Thank you very much
Thank you very much
Found whilst in the area after completing the Adventure Lab.
What a WONDERFUL cache. A definite favourite point from me to you.
A gorgeous town to visit, one I'd not been to previously. Loved it.
Thanks so much Val xx

Had a lovely long walk around town, admiring all the murals and finding info. Arrived at GZ. I agree with the hint- the container is certainly a work of art as well. A favourite from me.Many thanks for all the time and effort in making these caches and placing them in interesting places for us to have such fun. Thanks for the cache
WoW - it’s great to see a decent sized geocache container, after travelling over 7,000km in the last 4 months, one really appreciates a cache that is not a ridiculous mint tin or a nano, nor a micro in the bush
Totally agree to let the creativity come back to life, just like a lot of the the older geocaches
Travelling homeward bound to Busselton from the Townsville Mega, how lost can we get?
It’s been 4 months since the CacheQld mega and we have only just crossed the second State Border today as we head home, that’s still a long way to go to get home to WA
But the fun bit is, finding all these geocaches along the way.
No matter where we park our caravan for the night, it’s always an exciting day to see this great country through the eyes of the local geocachers.
Thanks to all the COs for showing us your favourite spots along the way.
A favourite point for this one, totally enjoyed the walk around town to see the history through the artwork and the final bonus

Looking for somewhere to go for a drive and escape the morning chill, we noticed the AL icon on the map here and thought why not check it out and see what this one was all about. I must say we were blown away by how much work had gone into decorating this small country town and we thoroughly enjoyed the walk around here. Particularly liked the little pop-up park with the kids puzzles and iron sculptures. Loved the decorated cache at GZ and a definite FP from us. Congratulations too on your nomination for COTY, well deserved.

We enjoyed the tour of the Tongala Murals - some we had seen before but others have been painted and displayed since our previous visit. On completion of the Adventure Lab, we had the coordinates for GZ. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of a wonderful cache - the container was a work of art in its own right. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Cybergran V for the Adventure Lab and the great Bonus Cache - it earns a favourite from us.
Congratulations!

The Adventure Lab was a nice tour of street art in Tongala. And now off to find the final. This proved be an interesting find and well worth a favourite point. Thanks to Cybergran V for the Adventure Lab and bonus cache.
Well the tour was very enjoyable and this terrific cache at the end really topped it off. I have loved my trip to Tongala. Thanks
Traveling over to Echuca by a somewhat convoluted path, and collecting a few odd caches.
A lovely sunny day for caching.
Some fantastic murals in the town, and we would have missed several without the AdLab.
Particularly liked the final mural. Nicely done.
Thanks, Robmc.

#18234. The first day of caching in quite a while, travelling between Beechworth and Echuca, via a long and winding road. Managed to find 13 and 1 DNF and also completed an AdLab in Tongala. Was surprised at such dry countryside and the gale force winds.
So many interesting and colourful murals around town and I am sure we missed quite a few also. A great spot for GZ and an amazing cache container. Favourite point for drawing us to this town and for the cache itself.
Thanks Cybergran V

Staying out at Morning Glory Resort for a week with some family and needed an Unknown and a Multi for the day, going to visit my brother in Kyabram for the day and managed to grab a few along the way.
Did the round of lab caches plus two extras from the Colbinabinn Labs and this one as well for a nice tidy little hall . Back to camp now…

Day #10 of the MEGA road trip. It’s time to leave Albury and head back to Wangaratta to collect OZHockeyChicks car. Then it’s a cross state trip go Shepparton and Echuca to our new home for the rest of the week on the VIC/NSW border.
What a cool little town that I wouldn’t have visited if not for this lab. Love the cache container. A favourite for sure!
Thanks Cybergran V for placing this gamepiece in the wild for us to find.

It’s MEGA Road Trip time!! A plan is hatched and we are good to go.
DAY TEN: The beginning of the second half of this road trip. Back to Wang, then through to Koondrook via Shepparton, Tongala and Echuca.
Passing through to check out the AdLab. Some very talented artists around! Loved the final cache. Purdy!

Numurkah to Echuca camping at the Rotary grounds alongside of the Campaspe River. A great spot only a couple of caravans here.
Today we too a day trip along some back roads to Tongala completed the AL & found a variety of caches.
Such a peaceful location we decided tostay another day & just cache around the local area.
This was a great AL, a number of people wandering the street looking at them
The final was also a work of art & well worth a FP
Thankyou Cybergran V for placing this cache.
Tftc cybergran V, we enjoyed our tour of Tongala, and this is probably just as artistic
What a lovely little town, some lovely murals, thanks for bringing me here and highlighting this town
WOW! The artwork was brilliant thru town. And love the work put into this cache too. A favourite point from me. Thanks for the fun
Find #177 on our Mega trip. We had the best time driving around looking at the murals and answering the question. Short search for this at GZ and we found the cool container. Miss 5 made some swaps and I dropped off a travel bug from the mega. A fav point for the whole AL & bonus!
Thanks for the fun.
Thanks for the fun.
A lovely set of art works. Someone has some skills around here.
A mega jaunt with endeavour3 saw us caching this cache and writing in the log, then we moved on. A lovely place to explore.
Thanks to Cybergran V and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

I have teamed up with TeamAstro to attend the Wangaratta mega. We are doing some caching on a road trip returning to Adelaide from Wangaratta.
The artwork on Tongala is amazing. I really enjoyed exploring the town and seeing all the artwork.

Day 2 of the Mega for LuckyL10n and myself and after grabbing one or two more caches in Wang, we headed down to the NKH series to finish these off before heading off to Echuca on our round trip to Mildura before heading home.
On the way to Echuca we grabbed another 20 odd caches, including this great one on Tongala. We enjoyed the murals...again...and then finding this bonus. Took a little effort to get the log book, but once that was done it was quickly signed and everythign was repacked.
Thanks Cybergran....nicley done. Fav point for the effort and the fun.

#12929 - 6:45:00 PM; Day 2 of the Wang Mega tour with Sol de lune. A quick visit to the Mega venue was followed by a couple more caches in town before heading out to finish off the Ned Kelly Helmet series (almost!). We enjoyed lunch at the Glenrowan Bakehouse, then hit the trails to the south before pointing ourselves north then west towards Echuca via Shepparton. Arrived in Tongala a bit later than expected, but still had time for some caching upon arrival. Grabbed a nano first up then the adventure labs needed for this bonus. A sense of deja vu overcame us as we worked our way around some familiar murals! Once we had GZ, we headed off. Worked out where the cache was and then the way to get to it. A nice sized and well constructed cache. A favourite for the effort and a nice way to wrap up the mission for the day. TFTC Cybergran V
Found as I made my way from Adelaide to the Mega event at Wangaratta with Freddo.
We meandered our way across northern Victoria, camping along the river and generally avoiding contact with other people as far as possible to minimise covid risks. We targeted some specific caches of interest, but also took the opportunity to find other caches opportunistically as we were passing.
After wandering around town early this morning checking out the various murals to complete the Adventure Lab caches, we headed to GZ to find a nicely-hidden, good-sized and well-decorated cache.
Thanks Cybergran V for the Adventure Lab and the bonus cache. Worth a favourite point I think.

First cache of Day 3 of this trip. After some interesting art for breakfast it was time for the main attraction.
e.Gregory1 and Freddo decided to travel to Wangaratta for Geocaching Victoria’s first 2022 Mega event. The attraction of GeoMaze icon was just too tempting. We packed the Land Cruiser for a bubble environment. There would be some public exposure but we would be keeping it minimal. Fortunately we did not bother with any warm clothes. Fortunately we packed some Bushmans with +20% DEET. There were caches to find and we found caches. We saw a lot of interesting places and met the occasional geocacher or two in the field.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.
Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

As we were in our way to Shepparton today, we decided to take a detour and complete an Adventure Lab or two, and of course, grab this bonus cache as well. We thoroughly loved the AL, but once we located this one, the container brought a real smile to everyone’s faces, especially the kids. A fantastic effort all around with this one.

My mate Keith and I enjoyed our time in Tongala, and the tour provided by Cybergran V. Having completed our apprenticeship, we headed off to find this piece of treasure. With my usual technique of making things harder than they should be, we drove around to find athe most suitable place to start our excursion. We were soon to find the container very close to an area that we had walked through earlier.
What can I say? This container would have to be a collectors item on it's own, let alone the fun we have had getting here.
A favourite point from us, and thanks for the fun, Cybergran V.

Having spent a few days with my sister down south I was on my way home today. I purposely travelled north to Rochester for an AL but hadn't meant to come this far. Here I was after the next AL in that series but got carried away and ended up completing the ALs which gave me the coordinates for this bonus cache.
Wow there is plenty of art in this town. I loved it all but not as much as this cache. Thanks for such a wonderful find Cybergran V. Have an FP for your efforts. SL TNLPt

Our quick escape to freedom from the prison known as Melbourne is now over and we are returning to Victoria via a few lab caches as work beckons for tomorrow.
We haven't been to Tongala for quite awhile and we were very impressed with the murals here. We really enjoyed how the lab was set up and the questions to gain the information were nice and easy except for the church. This had nothing to do with the question just the age of our eyeballs. Once finished we were rewarded with a set of co-ords for this cache and we followed the GPSr to a nice quick find and the log book now contains our name. It was a great place for gz and we think the best mural of the lot.
Many thanks cybergran for setting this one up, a favourite point from us.

What a great cache. Certainly a work of art. And it was full of SWAG including a pathtag, my first for sometime. Thanks Cybergran V for a great series here in Tonnie and this bonus cache.
Came here specifically to check out the street art and to my surprise I found this adventure lab that went with it. Double bonus for me. It was a very cool history lesson with a brilliant bonus hide at the end. Tftc and the adventure fav point from me
Found with the family and some friends. Enjoying the murals and the sunshine. Forgot to being something to swap so TNLNSL. Loved the paintings and finding the dunnies

Did the adventure trail and found the final with tassie expat while exploring this great area. Thanks for the work you put into this. Well done.
frmen1 and I are staying nearby (Echuca) and with today being the best day weather-wise for some time, we thought that we would make the most of it. Having walked the entire AL, we decided that GZ was not that far away from where we had left the car. A great theme cache container. By the time we had finished and got back to the car (1210), the bakery had closed, so a muesli bar for lunch had to suffice. This was a great way to spend an hour or so. Fav pt given TFTC
We had traveled our way to Tongala and had a pleasant walk around the town, taking in the myriad of murals. They were a fascinating eclectic collection with some interesting insights into the area's history and some humorous ones. In some ways this town reminds us of Sea Lake as the locals have worked hard to attract the tourists, unfortunately, the plethora of closed shops suggests that this may not have been as successful as hoped. The Adventure Lab was thoroughly enjoyable, and the Bonus cache is a ripper and very well themed with the Adventure Lab. We have dropped a pathtag for another Geocacher to find. The cache is in superb condition and if it ever gets stolen then we hope the curse comes true. Thank you for the Adventure Lab and the cache Cybergran V. An FP from us for an enjoyable Adventure Lab and a wonderful Bonus Cache.
What a great Ad Lab series of Mural Art at Tongala. I really enjoyed all of the artists art pieces.
Once I had the GZ coordinates it was a quick and easy find. Definitely deserves a fave for the Ad Lab series and creativity of the geo container itself. TFTC

Found with PapaGrouch. Spent an enjoyable afternoon wandering around Tongala and admiring the murals. We completed the first three spots then stopped for some lunch, then off to do the last two. Calculated GZ and headed back to find this one. The container certainly continued the theme. I have added a couple of photos that I took on our journey. TFTC
Loved the adventure lab which we managed to go to Tongala this morning after a

After a big day out yesterday at Myrtleford[^], Rex and I cached our way home last night for sleep[|)][xx(][|)][^]
We also had a big day planned today at Tongala[^] where we were meeting K9team and Ghihash for some geocaching[^] after attending Cybergran V's Community Celebration event[^]
By day's end I'd attended this great event[^], found 6 caches and completed the new Tongala murals adv lab too[:X][^] As well as seeing lots of awesome geocachers[:X]
I even found a glove in an arboretum[?] in the dark and managed to track down its owner and return it a day or so later[^][^]
Rex and I jumped in K9team's car for a few caches[^][:X] A lovely chance for me to not drive for a change[:X][^]
Thanks Tinnele[:X][^]
We had a blast finding well hidden Aussie Dunnies, enjoying the stunning[^] and interesting[^] artwork we visited during the adv lab[^] and then capping off the adv lab with this awesome[^][^] bonus cache
Smiles on our dials, for sure!
This was my last cache with K9team and Ghihash as they headed to Bendigo and I headed to Mooroopna

We drove about town doing the adventure lab with RockyRaccoon3, as it was his first AL. Once completed, we went for the bonus cache.
My phone really is quite slow to respond at times, so we went past gz a couple of times before we came across the likely hide. That was interesting as we had a cache on the same structure several years ago, but it got muggled a few times. A far more secure spot has been found for this glorious cache container that is well worth finding even if only for its artwork.
Thankyou Cybergran V for adding this to the game board.
