Today's target was an event in Castlemaine followed by some caching, Ad Labs and some scouting around. After the event, micaparamedic and I set off for a few caches, although he had already done them. We drove past this one when MP mentioned there was a cache. A quick check, turn around and we were back so LeeLee could get it. Thanks cahraswarris for creating for us all to enjoy. A lovely view here. Tasmania Trip Day 13. Travel Day, Geelong to Canberra. After a great night one the boat and even a good nights sleep, I was ashore way too early and beginning to drive home to Canberra. After refueling I started out. I did not go directly and took quite a detour via the final three western(ish) counties in Victoria I have not cached in before. This leaves Melbourne and several east of Melbourne around to almost Orbost to do one day. Seeing the heavy traffic streaming towards Melbourne in the other direction was odd in the foggy pre-dawn darkness. Eventually it got light and I reached some caches to do. All in all it went smoothly with some interesting places visited and I even made it home eventually, just before dark. All in all a great multi leg journey over almost a month. Now onto some Canberra activities. Most of the caches I did today were quick roadside caches, even if some of the roads were back trails. Thanks for the cache cahraswarris46177.16 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2015 Mystery Skull A#320**Albida**

In Castlemaine today to be Guard on the Victorian Goldfields Railway... and went looking for a local cache or two at the end of the day before hitting the highway back home to Melbourne. It was interesting to see how quickly the area around Castlemaine becomes rural once you leave the main road. The cache was a nice and easy find... and is in good condition. Thanks **cahraswarris** for putting this cache out.

Happy Valley find. We loved this one. Tie me kangaroo down sport..There were kangaroos absolutely everywhere. We have settled into our new base on Mt Alexander and decided to drop into Castlemaine for some supplies. This was a quick cache we both hadn’t got previously. It was a difficult spot to park but fortunately an easy find.

Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
Well this definitely the last cache for the day.
We ordered tea and since it was about a 1/2 wait we headed off to the hills to look for this one.
Made our way along Happiest Valley Rd and parked up near the end.
We walked back to GZ added our names to log and off we went.
We spotted a mob of skippies on the way out in one of the paddocks we past.

Thanks Cahraswarris TFTC.

Find No,. 3471. Found with FUF009

A day out caching with FUF009, down to Castlemaine area, which turned out to be a perfect sunny winters day.
We cached a lot of bush tracks and luckily we were in FUF009's Triton as I don't think our van would of made it to some of the places we went to. We had a plan on what caches we'd do and managed to find them all. We had a good fun day which we all needed in these Covid times.

Had to park on the track while we all jumped out to locate this one. Luckily it was quiet today and no-one came along. Quickly signed log and off we went to our next find.

Find # 9823
Found with Tyred n Cranky

Off for a Sunday drive down Castlemain way. The day turned out to be a great winters day out caching. Perfect temp and sun shining all day long.

The bush tracks we tackled had some eye opening situations but the ol' 2x4 Triton made it to most GZs. The tougher ones we legged it up the hills and along the toughet tracks.

All in all, the targeted caches were all found, some took a little longer to locate than others and we had a lot of fun along the way.

A quick find, I parked on the track while we signed the log.
Thankfully no one came along Smile.
