Found during a caching circuit from Wartook, Zumsteins, Halls Gap and Heatherlie Quarry while staying at Horsham for the mid-week. Thanks for the cache Duntulum!
I came to stay at Halls Gap in the Grampians for the October Long Weekend with my family. We found a lot of caches. Thanks
I have been staying in Halls Gap in the Grampians for the Long Weekend with TT016, PrincessAria1 & Little Goose.A nice place to stop for a rest. Thanks Duntulum
Found on our weekend away camping at halls gap with hevwalker Princess Aria and Little Goose
After exploring the valley it was time to head back to camp for our final night. Just a few quick caches! Ha ha. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
Not sure I've ever stopped here Oh well, good chance to now, and good timing as quite a few motor bikes have hurtled past
Pulled up.. no-one around .. a bit chilly up in the heights though with a wind whistling through as well. Made a quick find and log. thanks Duntulum.
Found this with gridge98 on our road trip to Victoria. We took the great ocean road to Warrnambool, then to Ballarat and Halls Gap. Fantastic trip away over 5 days. Thanks for the cache!
A nice little hut here, no one around made for a nice and easy find, cache is all goodcourtneyrose_ and I headed away to Victoria for a 5 day trip for me to partake in the Ballarat Marathon. Along the way we made our way to the great ocean road to explore the area, after both of us had not been there for many years. We then headed to Ballarat for 2 nights before heading to Halls Gap for a scenic experience for the night before making our way back to home to Adelaide. Thanks for the cache.
There was no way I could drive past this spot knowing there was a cache here so I made a quick stop here and a quick find. Not too busy in the area today and so I didnt have any company while looking for or signing the log. Thanks for placing this cache
Found by The Empire + HEmbarking on a scenic drive from Halls Gap, our destination was the breathtaking Reids Lookout in the heart of the Grampians National Park. The road unfolded before us, revealing panoramic vistas of the ancient sandstone formations that define this iconic Australian landscape. We grabbed this cache at the rest-stop before heading onto the lookout. As we approached Reids Lookout, the air was tinged with anticipation. Parking the car, we eagerly embarked on a short walk to the lookout point, where nature's grandeur awaited. The trail, flanked by native vegetation, hinted at the awe-inspiring scenery that lay beyond. Thanks for the cache Duntulum.-M
Leaving the Reeds lookout for the Boroka lookout, I stopped in the rest area for a quick park and grab.
Staying for a few days in Halls Gap, the weather was shaping up for a good days bushwalking. We passed by this cache a couple of days ago on the way to Horsham. I was determined to stop today and grab it. Found quickly and easily in a logical spot.
What a cute little shelter. Spotted the cache after a short hunt. Thanks Duntulum [:)}
On our third and last day in the Grampians, we already had two beautiful hikes in our legs so we had more of a stop and go Campertour. This cache was along our journey and so of course, we stopped here for a quick log. TFTC MatzE346
On our last day we explored the Northern Grampians via campervan before leaving this beautiful place. This traditional cache was found easily and logged quickly.
This one was a bit harder as the coordinates were a bit all over the place, but one we read the hint we bagged it. tftc!!
Sneaky little find on the way down from the Balconies! Cache and log in good order. Signed and replaced as found!
In Halls Gap with Alansee to do some caching. Enjoying the lovely places these caches have been put. Another sunny day.

watched the beautiful sunset at the lookout, but it got too cold, so we decided to drive back to our cabin when my parents (DeNoppies) suddenly stopped the car. Ofc I should have known it was because of a cache haha.
after we found the cache, we saw the sky turning red and decided to go back to the lookout to see the rest of the sunset. it was stunning!
tftc!

After seeing a part of the sunset we got cold and got back in the car to drive to our cabin. After 300 metres the wife called: "Stop!! There is a geocache nearby!!" So hubby stopped and wifey and daughter Hippie03 got out of the car to search for the cache. After a while hubby decided to help and found the cache after 5 minutes where the girls already had searched. Then we all noticed that the light had changed to a beautiful orange/red colour. So we drove back up to Reids lookout and took some more beautifull pics. Without this cache we would have missed it! TFTC
Day 19 of our Australia Tour 2023, which we spent in Grampians National Park.
Thanks!
Thanks!
**Wat is het leven toch mooi **
Another day on the Great Ocean Road and up to the Grampians
The weather was cold, windy and wet. We deceided that we go to an old cache, Towering Inferno. After a short walk to a nice area, we found the cache after 15 minutes searching.
Then we did some other caches on our way to the Grampians.
We often log with our initals TGM (Team_Geo-Meijer)

On a camping road trip to the Grampians, Mt Gambier and surrounding areas. Currently camping at Great Western Recreation and Racing Reserve and today took a trip to the Grampians. After checking out the views at nearby Reid's Lookout and finding the cache there we continued on, stopping at the picnic shelter at the bottom of the hill to look for our second cache for the day. After a short search we soon had the well hidden cache in hand. TFTC TNLN.
Quick find here.
Thanks Duntulum for placing and maintaining for all to enjoy. Picked up TB and left swap.

Thanks Duntulum for showing us Reids Rest, a quiet spot this morning.
Cache found dry and in great condition.
We admired the structure and wondered about the many happy times that were shared here by travellers.

Yessss! Good hiding spot and not where you'd expect but still easy enough. Thank you for the hide!
Sorry for the delayed log.
This cache was found with ilukaperi on an outing to the western districts.
Sorry, I don't remember much about this find as its been sixteen week between when I found it and now when I am writing the log. Ilukaperi would have sent the answers in for both of us.

Day1976 and I camped at a free camp past halls gap last night, and today was the only caching day we had. We had crossing off a some good caches already today, and got a bit saturated, then dried out, and then got drizzled on yet again, the weather seemed to have cleared.
Quick Roadside stop on a road that says no stopping on Roadside.

Find No. 3564. Found with FUF009 at 3.56pm
A trip to the Grampians area for the day and FUF009 came with us.
First up we visited the Bee Hive Falls. Found a couple of caches on the walk to the falls. Not much water going over today but still a lovely spot to visit.
Then onto Troopers Creek Campground where we stopped for our picnic lunch.
After lunch we stopped at Zumsteins picnic area for a walk to grab a couple of caches there. Then it was onto Wartook Reservoir for a look. Next stop, Reids Lookout to grab the cache at the top and then down to the bottom for another cache where we had a cuppa and eats in the gazebo. We then made our way into Halls Gap for a look and found another cache before heading for home.
A warmish day but still quite enjoyable just wandering around looking at new places and of course finding caches along the way. Also it was quite busy at most places we visited. A very popular area the Grampians are.
A great place for a cuppa and a cache. Spent some time here just sitting and enjoying the breeze, and our cuppa of course.

Find # 10184
Found with Tyred n Cranky
We headed to the Grampians for the day. We visited the Bee Hive falls, Troopers Creek Campground, Zumsteins picnic area, Wartook Res, Reed Lookout and finally down to Halls Gap. Despite the rather warm day, things were buisy in most places we visited.
After getting the cache we made use of the shelter and sat down for a coffee and some biscuits.
A great little place to find.
