This morning Granny and I had a plan to continue with seeking out caches with the off-road attribute for our monthly challenge. It turned out to be a fun day and with lots of various caches in lots of places. We got in a few extras while we were passing as well and even found a couple of ftfs along the way. We got to have a morning tea/ breakfast at an event and met some great cachers. There is some really pretty countryside around this area. We signed the logs and replaced the caches as we found them. Thanks for the caches and the hides. If you are seeing this please check out, GCARTY0, see what is planned for October 2025. There is an importance in placing will attends to events. Thanks for supporting geocaching in Australia. ITS A PARTY EVENT!

Damn, we were certain we were on the right track, hoping all the rain and wind hadnt messed with the cache.
A return visit for this one and a nice easy find. Thanks to Liz and Bruce for replacing it after our last visit. TFTC baby&Mrs gopher
A short detour from our rough route towards Beaver Rock, and after making the short walk from Cardigan Street, we found the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [baby&Mrs gopher](https://coord.info/PRWZ3P) for the cache placement, and [Liz and Bruce](https://coord.info/PR68BB) for its ongoing maintenance.----------During this trip, I travelled with [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) (who was visiting from Adelaide, SA) and we visited Maryborough for an extended weekend.Friday was the drive north, which involved the full day with stops in Nambour, Eumundi, Pomona, Gympie, Tiaro, and Maryborough, and highlights included the *Evil* series and the *Big Aussie Day Bash* series. The weekend's two days prioritised the *Jolly Brolly Folly* (JBF) series and *Geocaching 101* series, with a Sunday afternoon trip to Utopia Falls. Finally, Monday's itinerary included a few last geocaches that were in town, and we then returned home via Beaver Rock, Maaroom, and Tin Can Bay.A fun and rewarding trip with great company and friends, and we were rewarded with good weather throughout our trip.Today, it was our final day for our Maryborough trip, and [Freddo](https://coord.info/PR8C14) and I had final ambitions for a few remaining *Big Aussie Day Bash* series geocaches that we had yet to visit, and then circling back through town for one last time. We enjoyed seeing Queen's Park and had a late morning tea, and it was on to the Beaver Rock series. A few interestingly themed geocaches using our TOTTs, and then we returned home via the eastern ocean route before going through Gympie. There were a few interesting seaside towns visited, such as Maaroom, Boonooroo, Tin Can Bay, and Cooloola Cove.
Quick find at this location. There is more caches to find. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them.Freddo traveled north from deep south to catch up with friendly Liz and Bruce and the RV Home base crew. David Wazza provided a sturdy vehicle and we traveled in style. We had good weather. Not to hot. Not to rainy. Lovely one day and perfect the next. The caches were found in a blur of Which Is Next and Where Are We Going Now. Some caches were harder to find than others. Some caches we could see from the car. Regardless all caches were found in the last place we looked.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. I was out and about with Ian from Ian and Penny to find some caches in Maryborough today. Neither Ian or I could find this cache today .... and Ian has previously done a maintenance run on this cache ... so I can only assume that it is gone and actually needs to be replaced.
I have come to Hervey Bay to visit family again for a few days and after a drop off of the kids, it was back to Maryborough to catch up with a highschool friend. Unfortunately she wasn't going to be finished work for another few hours. Fortunately I knew exactly how to fill in that time.
Even went back for a 2nd try after finding the others in this area.

After a big day yesterday hitting Marybourgh hard I spent the night again in the Alan and June Brown car park and woke to a short morning of caching before heading back to Brisbane and the Stones Corner festival.
I started the morning with a few local caches in the Maryborough town centre and worked my way South.
All caches were found quickly and in good condition. Signed and returned to there hiding place. Very glad to turn these caches into smilies and look forward to heading back up this way again to find a heap more.
A big thanks to the cache owners for making these caches available to be found by fellow cachers
Cheers

Alyce and I made a spontaneous trip to Maryborough and brought the 4 youngest along for the ride. Our goal for the day was to grab the Brolly that we solved recently, but we forgot to download the list and had no internet when we arrived, so we decided to head into town to clean up some caches instead.
It was an action packed day filled with adventures and fun times. The kiddies enjoyed the experience but grew tired towards the end of the day. All in all we all had a fantastic day exploring Maryborough and the surrounding areas.
As I arrived at GZ I got spooked by several Roos, I wasn’t expecting that ! Luckily they moved on in a hurry and I was able to search for the cache which didn’t take me too long to find thanks to the hint.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Yay! We found it! My son and I just started geochaching today and had fun trying to find this one, wasn't easy but also wasn't to hard. Watch out for mozzie after the rain!
Found today in sunny dry conditions but it was very wet inside & the log is soggy. Another calendar day filled in for us. TFTC
We replaced the container with a different, hopefully more waterproof type. The old container will go to Liz and Bruce for repurposing.

Enroute to Hervey Bay for four days and three nights hiking a portion of the Fraser Island Great Walk, we managed an early start, primarily so we could beat the traffic, but also so we find a carefully selected mix of caches along the way.
It was getting dark, and dinner and accomiodation in Hervey Bay awaited. Just one more was the call here. I had a sense of dejavu on the second visit when Seff thought he might have dropped a TB and we returned a second time.

Today Crookedpete, Dez(JezNDez) and I were heading north from Brisbane on our way to Hervey Bay for the start of our 4 day hiking adventure tomorrow along a stretch of the Fraser Island Great Walk. We left Brisbane early to avoid the peak our traffic and this gave us plenty of time to pick up caches along the way.
No problems making the find here and dropped off a trackable to continue it's journey. Having driven off down the road, I had the horrible feeling I had dropped another trackable out of my pocket in the ground and went back to check. A wasted journey as they were all correct and accounted for in my inventory. Logbook signed with The Bromance team stamp. TFTC

Did a maintenance run for the CO today.
Log was in good condition so we just moved it into a new container with a couple of swaps.

Thank you Ian and Penny for the help. All good to go again with new container.
Good hide. You may have to move aside something light weight. Cache is down low. We didn't have a pen so we couldn't sign the log.
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.

Great spot for a cache and thank you for being so tolerant in adversity. It was great to spend time with you and we did manage to see all of a Town like Alice. Kind regards to the dear mongrel and lovely lady.
Friends are indeed needed when you are caching around this wonderful country of ours. Hopefully, Bruce is getting you to where you need to be, safely winding your way back home. I am sure we will catch up with you again somewhere soon.

Tftc Baby and Mrs Gopher, even though the sports ground was full of activity we were able to make a quick dash into the bush without drawing too much attention.
