Just one more in this area before we leave Bendigo completely. SL at 11.38am after a short bushland wander. #11,097 TFTC GarthBane
We enjoyed the cache container on this one. Our grandson would have loved it.Our last full day in Bendigo so before moving on we took the opportunity to make the most of the beautiful weather and got for a bike ride into town from our caravan park. We joined up with the O'Keefe Rail Trail and road past Lake Weeroona and onto the 'Bendigo' sign before returning via as many parks as possible, and a few caches, to be home in time for lunch. A great ride.In the afternoon we headed north out of town to pick up a few more caches. A good day!Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache GarthBane.**SKI Pair****
Found with Grubbs1337 and ITWimdy. ??A great day out with Dad and his mate. Thanks for the cache ??
On the hunt today to kill some boredom with the little geodudes. Had a lot of fun in some bush on a cloudy day. Thanks for the cool cache!
What a cracker of a container!! I have no knowledge of Star Wars but I have no doubt that this is accurate. Many thanks
After the previous frown it was nice to brighten the day again
Especially when the cache is different
Thanks the cache is in good condition

Suscoe was out and about in the Bendigo area today.
It was a delightful day, cool but sunny and it turned out to be mild by the afternoon.
We saw a terrific range of caches and countryside today.
Thanks to GarthBane for this hide and walk in the bush.

Love the ‘container’. The force is strong with this one. Thanks for the great find
We arrived in St Arnaud on Sunday and decided to stay for a couple of days before continuing our journey to Bendigo. We caught up with our good friends Tyred n Cranky and Fuf009, while we were here we also caught up with ChooknChunk.
In our time here we found many high quality caches that we have come to expect from these CO's, there will be many Favs passed onto these high quality caches.

The JAMS team (JJ52 allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) were on a road trip heading to the Rutherglen Mega event (staying in Corowa) for 3 days then winding our way home via Albury, Wangaratta, Bendigo and various other places in between. It was a great week with many more caches found than we expected. There were targeted caches, challenge caches, Ad Labs, events and various others to fulfill various statistics for the four of us. We were lucky with the weather, it rained a bit on our way over on Friday, then half a day after we left Wangaratta but on the whole it was great caching weather. We did drive a few slippery muddy roads, but nothing too bad. We also caught up with lots of people either at events or out in the field and enjoyed many great chats. All in all a fun time with lots of Victoria explored and then very tired when I arrived home. [^]
Today was our last full day before heading home and we concentrated on finding caches for the Bendigo A-Z Challenge. Did lots of driving and found a few others along the way.
Thanks for the cache GarthBane.

Stamped as JAMS - JJ52, alllister w, mogni, sir_spectre. All of these teams are from South Australia and after some major planning we managed to find approx 700 caches while being away for a week. Also qualifiied for a variety of challenges, found LGA's and had lots of laughs. Found while attending the Victorian Mega in Rutherglen.
Thanks
Thanks
Needed a find for the A - Z challenge. Short stroll in the bush. found cache 8 meters out. nice themed container. fav point.
Found with JAMS (( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni, plus sir_spectre ) Mitchell&hound wasn't with us this trip) crew. All logs stamped as JAMS to save log space. This trip we are off to the Rutherglen Mega and then slowly coming back to S.A. for a total of 8 dys and 7 nights. The targets of this trip are for JJ52 to get 11 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and a few more Victorian LGA's, Allister W was targeting 17 virtuals ( or as many as he could get ) a few more Victorian LGA's Mogni to make the Rutherglen Mega her 20, 000 find and also for her to complete all Victoria LGA's, sir_spectre needs 1 more multi to get to 1000 multi's and get his Victoria LGS's down to 2 LGA's left. We got 20 or more finds in a LGA if we stayed in there over night. We also detoured to stamp any challenge caches that we were " in the general area off " and to complete that challenge before we came back to S.A. This meant that some times dirt road (s) had to be walked down because they were to wet to drive down and/or haven't been repaired since last years flooding. We started off the holiday in the rain and then that cleared up only to start raining and a overnight thunder storm but most of the trip was dry. Over 600 caches found for the trip including over 120 lab stages in that total. Got to complete the GPS Maze at the Rutherglen Mega for a 2nd time. Allister w was the team driver for all of the Victorian part of the trip. I think this was the first trip ever to Victoria that the extension pole didn't get used but the 6.2 meter ladder did get a work out.

The JAMS (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) go mega... We came, we cached, we laughed, we hugged and we had a great time. All caches were replaced better than found. But like all good things it must come to an end and so we started our way home, it only took 5 days....
Thanks to GarthBane from mogni

I had been thinking about a trip to Bendigo for over a month so that I could find My centroid cache and with an event in town this weekend plans were made to do a few days caching with My good mate Omegaman1971.There are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. Loved the ones we did in the series, will target the rest on or next visit. FAV from Me.

In Bendigo for an appointment, after the cracking was done I was off to stretch n walk around.
Ive had my eyes on this little cluster of caches, out at Huntly, for a while now. So seeing as i was, kinda, close. I decided to tackle them this arvio. A couple of drive bys and a few walks and i had the collection sorted.
A cool little group for a pack of quick fire smileys.
Cool construction... but sadly "the force" (glue) has given way on one side of the Tie Fighter. (Cache still good, dry n safe)

After the National Tree Day planting and well earned snag and cupcake, n0w0rries and I joined the convoy already containing Geoturtle37, chooknchunk, Papi4506, OzHockeyChick, Roaming Howie and Crack'n'LeeLee to get some nearby smileys.
This impressive unique container deserves a favourite point.

After the tree planting CITO, Chook joined up with Geoturtle37, Papi4506, OzHockeyChick, Roaming Howie, NoWorries, nirgalagrin and Crack'n'LeeLee for a super fun afternoon of chasing caches in the backblocks and bush of the Huntly area. Nicely made cache container here. TFTC GarthBane.
An extra early start to the day for me. First stop was to pick up nirgalagrin then off we went up the freeway.
Stopping once or twice... on the way through to the breakfast event and the the National Tree Day CITO.
After grabbing a snag and a cache from the wetland, we went in search of some local caches before heading out of town to do the Challenge series..

A great group of cachers set off to find a few caches before we went our separate ways. This was another nice quick find which it should be when there about 7 or so of us looking for the cache. Thanks for the it for us to find.

A maintenance run to Bendigo, among other things, gave us the opportunity to seek out a few of the caches to appear since our last visit. There was a feeling of deja vu as we re-entered the Star Wars realm of cleverly themed GB caches.
Thanks GarthBane for placing such intriguing caches on the gameboard.

Staying up at Castlemaine for the weekend and I mentioned to GemmaSistema that I would be staying up this way, so Gemma made a trip up to here and we met up in the morning and then spent a fantastic day around the outer suburbs of Bendigo.
Plenty of laughs, Bush tracks, a couple of Lab caches thrown in and of course lots of other caches found along the way, ending with a couple of pizzas for tea in the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens
A great day out was had.
Another one in this great Star Wars series and after finding our way in along the tracks we soon located the missing Tie Fighter in its hiding spot.
I wonder if the Empire will ever come looking for it.
A fav goes out to you for this great cache.
Thanks GarthBane TFTC.

Lots of people around doing road or rail works, i seem to be surrounded by big yellow machines but the cache is secluded. Thanks
We found it just letting you know it was broken when we found it sorry to be the bearer of bad news
Lockdown walk (and ride for the youngster) close to home. Easy find, inventive container.
Find #2516 for me. Found at 12:45 pm with my little geodog on the briefest of caching trips before the 1pm lockdown. Time for an adventure to the dark side to find Vader's tie fighter! As I walked toward this one with my dog (Bonnie), I approached on a rather round-about route as my GPS settled, but once it did I made a quick find. Bonnie is used to flat footpaths on her daily walk so I'm not sure what she thought of this cross-country trek, but it was good for both of us to get out for some fresh air. Wow, very impressive container worthy of a favorite point (if I have any left)! Thanks for another great cache GarthBane!
