Reperio 09:34Day 4 of our NSW south eastern caching tour, and Master Vitruvius and I travelled from Batemans Bay to Eden. The biggest factor of our travels today was the wind. Often blowing so hard it was a challenge to both get the log signed and hang onto zip lock bags. The journey along the coast was fantastic. With rain threatening to arrive early the next day, we aimed to get as much done as we could, and so concentrated our effort on ticking off the caches along Bengello Beach and then continued down the coast. Found most of the caches we searched for, so it was a great day out.Gratias YoubanAs a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
This was a tough hide. Fortunately Mrs SKI had read the description!Out on the bikes again this morning to complete the remainder of the caches in the immediate area. I had assured Mrs SKI it would be an easy ride today, but I fear I was incorrect as the section down the power lines was sandy and we had to resort to riding in the rough! All the same we were compensated by some great caching. More gadget and themed caches that were most enjoyable.Time well spent and a great ride. We sadly didn't make it back in time to find the coffee shop open. The only disappointment of the day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Youban.**SKI Pair****
Accompanied by ALL7, Nice weather was partly cloudy with little showers, then a little while later, it became fully sunny, we travelled to Broulee to run a series of heaps of caches. Some drove, some walked, and some biked. Some (WOW) excellent ones are interesting, look at clever ones on the drifferent types of caches in different ways. Love it. Signed the log by the stamp of us. TFTC
Accompanied by 63ROOS, Nice weather was partly cloudy with little showers, then a little while later, it became fully sunny, Some drove, some walked, and some bikes...Poor My car hard work drive to dirty road all the way but goood fun...(WOW) excellent ones are interesting, look at clever ones on the drifferent types of caches in different ways. Love it. .. Fav for you.. wink. tks
On our bikes again today attempting the Dragons lair series and the others in the triangle. A great day of caching and awarded quite a few fav points for the efforst of the themed containers. We even tried out our new bluetooth headphones fixed to our bike helmets, to save us yelling at each other. Much easier to cache with and allows us to stay in contact when one of us goes out of sight. On our return leg now. We surveyed the situation and spotted the cache.Fav pointTotal Caches Found 16374TFTC Youban
Out for a day of caching on the South Coast with Steeba and The Rats, aiming for a few series and finishing with the 20th Anniversary Earthcache Event.Hot day for a walk, bet we will be wishing for a sea breeze by the end. Let's see howany of this series we can knock over.Cheers
Out for a days caching with steeba and Hoojar. We had a lovely day on the south coast. This was one of many we found throughout the day.TFTC
Headed down the coast for a day mainly to celebrate the Wasp Head event with The Rats and Hoojar but found plenty of caches along the way for a nice day out.TFTC!
Sneaky hide. Glad we spotted it.Heading to the coast for the 20th Anniversary event for the 1st Earthcache in the world at South Durras. Adventuring on the way. Thanks for getting me out and about Youban
With the wasp head earthcache celebrations and event, it was a 3 day weekend at the coast of caching fun, food and friends. A huge number of canberra cachers joined for the weekend, many of us based in Moruya.Today after Travelling down with Tankengine, dty73, and Joolay. We met up with Flintstones and Albida. After meeting our host, Youban, for lunch a few of us head out for an afternoon of caching in the area. With Flintstones as our driver, with Albida Joolay and myself we set off for a lovely afternoon of awesome locations and cool caches before dinner at the best restaurant, SO yummy!Another nice youban creation, a nice construction! Thanks for the cache!
A cache trip to the coast for the 20th anniversary of the worlds first Earthcache in South Durras and as part of an Canberran invasion with a number of CBR cachers staying Moruya till Sunday. After meeting up with everyone in the Bay the day went on with some more caches along the coast, by this stage in a team with Aquilus1, Albida33 and Joolay, we were targeting cache which at least two or more of us needed including a number of ECs, a virtual and a new grand TE adventure at Mossy point. This cache: A quick find along the way. I spotted something gave it a closer look and cache found. Thank you Youban for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Out again today with LittleBoss2 to knock off as many of these as we can. Another clever series. Thanks again Youban. LB2 dismissed this at first, but went back in frustration
A day out caching with Bogonghazy. Quick find. Clever hide. Thanks for placing the geocache Fav from me
This is the type of craftiness I like. Surprisingly, it didn't fool me, well actually i kind of stumbled upon it. I didn't realize it was actually the cache at first. FAV point indeed
Another awesome find and beautiful construction along the way here.
So much effort has gone into the creation of these hides, and we will recommend them to all cachers!

Quick stop while kids napping in the car. Logbook dry and good condition. Tftc!
Catching up on some late logs that were found while on a trip.
Stopped off here to make this find while staying nearby. This was a quick find while passing up the road today.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance for us to find.

Find Number 2560 found at 12:47. Today we found 12 caches and 5 Lab caches. We had 0 DNF's.
Met up with GeoSon NationalSteel for the day and had a trip to Moruya. Our aim was to get some caches on George Bass Drive and around the airport before getting to the town centre.
Very sneaky! I'm happy I had a second pair of eyes looking for this one, as I'm pretty sure I would have failed on my own. Well worth a favourite point for hide.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log using initials GT NS and replaced the container as found
Thanks Youban for the cache.

It was great to find another sneaky hide by Youban. You just never know what to expect, which makes these caches so much fun. Thanks for hiding this cache Youban

Time for a few more in the series before heading off the Bay for lunch. I would like to say that these were all straightforward but in reality most of them took some hunting down. However, geowife was on fire today, so got there eventually. TFTC and the series Youban
Parked very close to this cache before making another incursion across the road. TFTC Youban
Tftc. Would love to say it was an easy find due to our super caching power, but alas no, I tripped over it.
I decided I needed another solo geocaching holiday to detox before uni so I thought the Bengello caches (the Bengello Walk and all the other nearby series') were a great excuse for holidaying at Broulee! Bengello is a stunning area, with a great mix of lovely vegetation and awesome ocean views. The weather was hot today but super blue and lovely, and (for the most part) pretty shady! Started walking at 7am (I didn't get a good sleep) from my accommodation and got back at 3:30pm, with 55 caches to boot. Great to spend Valentine's Day spending time around my true love, geocaching!
This was an interesting cache to read about! Quick find. Didn't like the nearby graffiti on the tanks though - it's a Premiers 2021 picture in the Melbourne Demons colours and as a Western Bulldogs supporter who witnesses their team lose to the hands of the Demons in the Grand Final, it brought back some unpleasant memories TFTC Youban!

Out to do some more caching in Bengello. Wow there are a lot here! We got 8 today. Not bad. Great caches as always but 'Smile!' was my absolute favourite. So much effort put into that one. TFTC Youban!
Nice construction here too

Down at the coast with Tankengine to find a couple of caches, do a little maintenance, head to an event and visit Youban.

Chooo ooo [found] with dty73! Only 2 ants this time! love it fav from me! Thanks Youban!
quick easy find absolutely covered in ants and ant eggs tftc signed as BB and BJ
Very clever hide. A small colony of ants have moved and the capsule was covered in eggs. Tftc.
My Original plan for this weekend was a day trip to the coast. The event made it an even better option. A late finish last night was interesting, but in the wet I drove down to Moruya for the event, and then worked my way home visiting new caches and ones that had been fixed since last week. I even managed a puzzle I had been struggling to solve for years. Apart from getting very wet in long ground cover, it was a great day.
I think the weather is making GPS reception a but less accurate, but after some poking around I found these three new caches.
Thanks for the cache Youban
