Today was a day for the pines and the area around Glencoe. We enjoyed a lovely day of mild weather and a breeze that was pleasant.Lots of sun and clouds later in the day.We found lots of caches and enjoyed the bushland locations, the farm lands and the roads that criss cross the area. Thanks to witchwayz for this hide.
Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. Staying in Millicent for a few days to grab some finds placed for the ill fated Mega 2020. Thanks for the hide. LNCU
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are staying at Millicent for the week, finding some of the caches we should have found if we had not been prevented from attending the 2020 Mega by Covid19. Thanks for the cache. LNCU.
So there is this cache. It goes ding dong found. Cache found.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. Day two on a SE SA short trip with The Morris.
Today we started with some of the caches around this pine plantation that we had scooped out yesterday.
A lovely ride around the parts we completed. Lots of nice caches and several animals.
Unfortunately, most of the plantation was shut off due to harvesting.
We shall return another day to complete the series.
Thanks, Robmc.

We headed over the border with Robmc, the campers and the bikes for 4 days of caching. We had a coupe of days of fabulous weather and the rain held off for most of it.
Day 2 we left our camp at Tantanoola and headed into the pines to tackle this series on the bikes. A lovely morning for a ride and all caches were in good condition and readily found.
Thanks for contributing to a great few days of caching.

A novel container which was a bit tricky to access as it was stuck. Got there with some persistence A favourite point coming your way TFTC whichwayz
No one was home to answer the door bell...note to self...I really need to get some TOTT's luckily a natural one was able to assist me today
SL at 2:15pm. I would be lying if I said today was a fantastic day weatherwise for caching. Saw some kangaroos on the drive in. Just as well I didn't have to knock around too long to find this one.

Today is the Geohusbands birthday. I made him go caching I think he enjoyed it. He helped me find 2 caches and did all the driving.
All up around 28 finds for the day. We drove through the forests, we saw a few speeding Roos. There were a zillion lady birds they were incredible. Also lots of butterflies. Lovely.
Then back to Tantanoola for lunch. Off to Millicent for extra supplies and then onwards to Carpenters Rocks the fog rolled in and now we are sitting surrounded by fog. Birthday BBQ and bubbles next on the agenda.

Found with Team Waldron during a trip to the south-east for a few days. On Day 1 we travelled via Meningie, the Coorong and Kingston SE to Millicent and Tantanoola. On Day 2, we toured around Glencoe and completed the STCL series, Colour by Song series, and the AooA series (and found any other caches along the way). On Day 3 we cached around Tarpeena then to Mt Gambier to do the Adventure Lab caches and down to Port MacDonnell. On the final day we completed the Honan Mint Trail and found the southern half of the Awaken and Live series before time got the better of us and we headed for home. Thanks for the cache witchwayz!
Another good song to hummmmm.
Thanks to witchwayz and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
During our drive through the pines collecting caches we came across a block were the trees are being harvested TFTC
All caches were found in good condition unless specified.
Joined forces with brisal5 and AnyMules for the remainder of this caching run.

I think i did these series in the reverse order they where published. I started off on a series they was themed at ever cache and worked by way to more standard containers. All caches where found, some more quickly than others. i personally did like the thought put in to some of the containers, with matching cache listings. After the rains recently mogni was happy we where using my 4x4 not her car. We got soaked doing all these caches from the ferns that where over mogni's head ( she 5 ft 3 ) in places, to getting rained on and off all day.
Monday. I managed to get tuesday of work so today was just about getting as many caches on or near the highway between Mount Gambier and Millicent before the Farewell, Until We Meet Again ??? event. then heading in to the forests again and doing the series put out by witchwayz Colour by Song, STCL (Sadie The Cleaning Lady), This One Is For.... plus what ever other caches where near them. Then finishing the day off with a nice wood oven pizza and of course a few lab caches in mount gambier.

SA Mega weekend with sir_spectre, a huge weekend of catchups and hunting geocaches. At different times over the 5 day weekend we joined up with other teams caching as either the misfits or mystery randoms depending on the numbers of people and who organised.
Unfortunately the weather was very typical of the south east and put many teams off exporing the forests and some great creative caches were only found by a few teams.
For me this was a little bit different than for others as I lived in the south east for 15 years and worked in Penola, Millicent and Mount Gambier. Strangely this also meant I kept running into people I knew each day.
Lots of wildlife seen, wombats, echidnas, snakes, kangaroos and wallabies. Luckily the snakes in particular kept leaving the paths as we were walking.
Thanks to the Mega committee for all of their hardwork organising and the many locals who have placed and maintained caches (this includes me )

The great Geoventure 2020 tour....take 2...which is of course now in 2021 Once again it myself and AnyMules doing things that not many sane people would attempt. [:o)]
Day 7: Time to say goodbye to a lot of friend heading home. But there was sunshine so we changed cars and went for a drive in the car that had a kayak and a 6.4 metre ladder. We tackled some UNAL caches before the weather turned to very windy and raining again and it was too risky to be high in trees or out on the water. [:(!] So we went back to the digs and had lunch.
The sun came out after lunch so off we went again in search of unfound caches in the forests.
* If anything was particularly interesting then there will be a comment
Here..
otherwise we found all the caches we looked for and they were in good condition.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

On the hunt today with goingplaces2 and enjoyed all the caches we found. There was a good variety of hides and containers. All logs were signed and each was returned to its proper place. TFTC.
We had a mixed bag today while caching with ilook4geo. We did find all that we looked for, but the caching activity was slowed down quite a lot by the rain that happened. It was an interesting time which involved cave exploring as well as plenty of walking through wet bush.
Thanks go to witchwayz for placing this cache which was fun to find.

FTF No 12 for this afternoon. I approached this one from a very good angle and could see it before I got close, would have been different if I approached from the other side. Nice bit of recycling. TFTC
