Time to come back to this area on a Maintainence run and also to find caches still for me to locate and log. Left Bargara at 4am so that I could fit everything I wanted to do whilst down this way into a hectic day. Short stop in biggenden on the way home to visit CO and to place some more hides foe his upcoming New Years event. Arrived back home at 1830.
Apologies for Boiler Plate logs but will add extra comment where necessary. Quick find in obvious spot as indicated by my GPSr. Parked in a safge area well off main roads and walked through very long grass towards GZ. Gz is a nice stroll from parking area. Keep to the property fence side of the gully. Quick find. TFTC Sweet-Sour.

We Have been in the Kilkivan area for a few days and our mission is to find as many of the caches that have popped up here over the years, we thank all the cache owners for placing these. All caches that we have found have been in good condition. SL TFTC
Tftc, today is a nice sunny day after 2 wet ones .
Out for a drive on the back roads.
Had a look here previously.
Today the grass height is more manageable, made the find
All good with this one

Our journey south begins, somewhat reluctantly as we have been enjoying the warm weather and we know it is still cold and wet in Victoria.
It was only a short journey from Maryborough to Kilkivan but some well placed caches with good parking enabled us to collect caches on the way. There was only one we had to pass as we could not find a place to pull up. Lots of traditionals, but good sizes and in great condition.
On arrival at Kilkivan we set up camp and had some lunch before heading off to complete the Adventure Lab in town. Then is was off up one of the trails on Mudlo Road through the National Park and beyond. Some great countryside and worth the trip. Again good sized caches in the main in good condition. We got to use our TOTT we are becoming more proficient with but missed one that seemed to be gone.
A big day again, so we both should sleep well tonight!
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sweet-Sour.

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation for the second time in two weeks. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **Sweet-Sour**

I’ve come up here to try and qualify for a crazy Challenge Cache in Cunnamulla… Forward planning, I’m driving L’DeVine, so hopefully no busted tyres today…
This was a nice quick find, and considering the amount of vitamin containers I’ve found today, this is the first one that still smells of vitamins…
Thanks to the CO… an amazing array of caches in the Kilkivan area…

We planned to turn the 15 caches released for the mid year event into smiles today as its always a pleasure to drive these country roads. Great to be caching out on these desserted roads. TFTC Sweet-Sour
Another very enjoyable day driving these country roads collecting smileys. We love these cache runs out here! This is one we found where we signed the log and replaced the cache as found. This one was nicely hidden away. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing this cache for us to find.
Picking up another great hide. Good coords. Found along with doscrapbooking. Thanks SS
Attending the Mid Year 2021 event & having been cleared to hit the trails we were off in search of 15 new caches just begging to be found!
#13 of 16 smilies rounded up today.
Missed FTF by ' ' that much!
Nothing wrong with being runner up when it comes to caching though.
Now I must admit I pulled the Geo-Beast to a halt within metres of where I thought GZ was going to be based on the coordinates being so good so far.
Then I went to look & look & ...
Now Mrs VC came over & looked & looked & ...
In disbelief we decided it best to recheck the coordinates & I moved a little further afield ... only to be called back to where Mrs VC had finally found the sneaky little blighter.
I definitely need to pay a visit to SpecSavers!
Made our mark & replaced as found.
The funny thing is we ARE both waiting for new glasses to arrive at out optometrist's rooms but as yet they haven't arrived.
TFTC Sweet-Sour
Oh yeah ... this sneaky blighter has earned you a Favourite Point!

TFTC. We are attending the event at Kilkivan this weekend. Along with the new Caches placed for the event we spent the day finding some of the older caches on the area as we passed by. A great day out with 30 finds for the day.
We headed out this way to make a start to the new caches. Nice to start off with a {FTF}
