I am heading south again after another week-end in Biggenden. 
I created a list of caches to find, saved it for offline use, then ... forgot to load it before leave data coverage areas. 
In the end, all I had to use to find these caches was a half loaded map and my gps location on that map. No cache name, D/T rating, size, hint or any other detail. 
This method of geocaching is NOT recommended as you really do not know what you are looking for. 
You just end up searching obvious locations first then start swearing until you find the cache ... or not. 
And this was my 2nd, nope, for today.

What better way to spend a weekend in the middle of the week, out caching with with Gem_54, who was stocked up with spare containers, zip lock bags and log sheets for replacements if needed.

Gotcha.. We are lucky still looking like rain but nothing so far .. We may get to finish this trail back to Kilkivan..
On holidays at Hervey Bay and arranged to meet YOF down this way to tackle a few. TFTC
Time to come back to this area on a Maintainence run and also to find caches still for me to locate and log. Left Bargara at 4am so that I could fit everything I wanted to do whilst down this way into a hectic day. Short stop in biggenden on the way home to visit CO and to place some more hides foe his upcoming New Years event. Arrived back home at 1830.
Apologies for Boiler Plate logs but will add extra comment where necessary. This road is really in a mess and had three lots of water to drive through and two of the crossings that are not concrete crossings are under water and the rocks are a bit of a hazard at the moment.

We Have been in the Kilkivan area for a few days and our mission is to find as many of the caches that have popped up here over the years, we thank all the cache owners for placing these. All caches that we have found have been in good condition. SL TFTC

Day out with Peppa and TMZ59 caching in and around Kilkivan to get our numbers up to maybe reach a milestone at the MEGA.
Took a while to find in the long grass with Peppa was dancing around like it was Mardi Gras (he said it was spider webs) until we found the cache. SL then returned as found.
We now have a new dance to entertain us while searching for caches...

Found cache and signed log. Returned cache as found. Getting a few caches to try and get a milestone whilst in the Ville. out with patrol14 and Peppa. TFTC. nice quick find.
A friend mentioned making the Townsville Mega a milestone cache… I hadn’t even thought about it, but what’s a couple of hundred caches between friends…Hence the reason TMZ59, Patrol14 and I are hitting Kilkivan and surrounds…
It took longer to find this cache than it should of as I was busy doing the dance of the spider webs… all flailing arms and back stepping…

In the area today and decided to pick up a few caches and this was one of them. Lots of flood damage as I made my way to this one and I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand. After signing the log all was returned as found.

Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that I can claim the finds or not as the case may be. I have been along for the ride, scooter, kayak, hike, climb, fish etc so may as well claim the finds. Thanks to the many COs along the way who have placed and maintained these caches for our enjoyment and on more than one occassion put up with silly questions to solve the mystery's. Of all the caches I have come to hate the most, those 500 odd piece jigsaws would have to take the honour ??. The multis and earthcaches on the flip side have been the best. TFTC

01/01/2022 Attended the event hosted by Sweet-Sour today and was good to meet up with fellow cachers. After the event headed out to cleanup some caches around north Kilkivan. Signed the logsheet and returned cache to its hiding hole. Thanks for making this cache for my enjoyment. TFTC SL

Drove from Beaudesert to Hervey Bay and back in a day for one of my daughters awards presentation for the second time in two weeks. 820 kilometers broken up by caching and meals. Really appreciate the CO's placing all these caches.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **Sweet-Sour**

We planned to turn the 15 caches released for the mid year event into smiles today as its always a pleasure to drive these country roads. After the last cache, we had to back-track down to Running Creek Road for a cachers favourite hiding place. TFTC Sweet-Sour
Another very enjoyable day driving these country roads collecting smileys. We love these cache runs out here! This is one we found where we signed the log and replaced the cache as found. This one was nicely hidden away. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing this cache for us to find.
Attending the Mid Year 2021 event & having been cleared to hit the trails we were off in search of 15 new caches just begging to be found!

Another pleasant moment making this morning the joy that it was.
Closing in on GZ it was Mrs VC who was quick to alight from the Geo-Beast & dart over to claim yet another FTF!
Ya gotta love clean sheets! [:D}

The accurate coordinates so far have certainly made finding these caches a delightfully quick experience.

TFTC. We are attending the Mid Year event at Kilkivan this weekend. Along with the new Caches placed for the event we spent the day finding some of the older caches on the area as we passed by. A great day out with 30 finds for the day.
