An adventurous route for sure. Not a drop of water here. Thanks Benjamin screamer for this one
We set off from home early this morning with no destination planned except for head towards Melbourne, well we didnt quite make it as we got sidetracked with the copious amounts of caches in Eynesbury since our last visit. Eynesbury is always a lovely location to explore with all its history so we headed here to begin a fun day of caching in a lovely setting. After suffering with a flat battery and having to wait for the RACV to get us mobile again, we now are back out enjoying another area of Eynesbury.Unfortunately there wasnt even a trickle today to be seen but we did get to appreciate the rock formation and locate the cache. Thanks Benjamin Screamer for the placement.
Had to get real low for this one.. thanks but not thanks for the spikes lol TFTC! CHM
16:40It's been a lovely relaxing Christmas, with only one dinner to get through instead of the usual back to back marathon. And I am free to attend this year's Intervening Days event... and see where the caches lead after that. The Eynesbury Grey Box Forest, as it turns out.I've been meaning to take a walk here for a while, so today seemed ideal.A short walk from the windmill to this seventh hide... very well protected indeed. Thanks, Benjamin Screamer. Thanks to all the rain we had over Christmas, the view from the cache was a fine one.#8106
After the Cobbledicks Ford CITO and visiting a workmate in Eynesbury, what else to do in the area but go caching. I followed the directions which made for an easy walk at the end of which there was the quick find.My thanks to Benjamin Screamer for the cache.
Great walk out here with my fur baby. Had some local kangeroos watching us we walk towered the location
I got caught in the box thorn trying to retrieve it, but got there in the end

I've been wanting to find the original cache and see the waterfall for a while. I'm so glad there is still a cache here despite the muggling problems. Hopefully this cache will be safe in its new home now. It was all in good order during our visit today. Absolutely loved this gem of a spot, thanks Benjamin Screamer
A new cache is in place not par from previous GZ. It was a delight to see, and hear, the waterfall flowing on the other side of the valley!

New cache moved to other side of bushes to reduce chances of being disturbed by animals or muggles.

Cache is reported as being smashed. I will do maintenance in a few days.
What an awesome couple of locations here, upon approaching I was doubtful I was going to find a waterfall. But find a waterfall I did. Fantastic area looks like a wasteland, but very cool couple of geocaches here.

Last time I was here, the cache was archived the day after and a new one straight after. Hmmm, looks like need to come back then.
Today the boys wanted to 'find treasure' and go bush, so Eynesbury was the plan, given BS seems to be one of the only COs these days who actually place anything larger than a micro. It was a nice walk out here, being mindful of long grass, hot weather and two kids. Plenty of water consumed. Cache was found in good condition with lots of swag. Went and had a closer look at the falls which were flowing well, brilliant. So worth coming back, a FP from me.

We had no idea this waterfall was here. It was quite a trek to get there as it was a hot day and we were worried with the long grass but the water was a welcome sight. Thanks
Nice quick and easy find on a pleasant afternoon stroll around the area.
Good to see the falls are running after the recent rains.

Found by Mary and David at 17:00. You have certainly explored the area around Eynesbury. We wonder whether you do it on foot, by bike, or even an e-scooter. We saw several of the local kids riding on their e-scooters along a bush track as we set off for the The Headless Windmill. After that, M headed back to the GeoPrado and D peeled off to the south when about a third of the way back to the fence. fairly easy going from there, but just had to watch out for rocks hidden in the long tufts of grass. A quick find at GZ, then had a look at the waterfall. Delighted to see that it was quite willing today, with water flowing and it was audible too. Saw many cockatoos, and the threatened rain stayed away. Gets a FP from us. Our thanks to Benjamin Screamer.
What a beautiful spot, finally got here,an easy walk that didn't Tassie long. The Geopuppy having a lovely time and lots of water flowing over the falls. Thank you so much for showcasing this amazing place
Came for a walk in Eynesbury to go for a walk with a friend. As I'd previously been here on the wrong side I took another approach found the waterfall took a few photos then headed for the cache. Was placed in plain sight. Signed took nothing left something.
As I had a skin appointment in Melton (that I thought was today but turned out to be next week) I decided to turn this green box into a smiling face and make something that was successful today.
As I walked in I thought it was familiar territory and of course now I am home it turned out that this was Version2. Typical of me lately.
As always accurate instructions and numbers made for a happy experience and neat clean find.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for the distraction.

Set out with SimsFamily to grab a few local caches in the area.
A enjoyable walk out to GZ where a quick search was made to locate the hide. We were able to see and hear the distant falls.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the Traditional Cache Benjamin Screamer

Catching up on some very overdue logs.
After talking with AusFox; we decided it was a good night to get out and grab a few caches. We have cached around here but a few new ones have popped up since so it was a great spot to come so as to keep the night from getting to long.
We rugged up before starting the walk as it was a very fresh night even though it was clear skies. It was a pleasant stroll as the sun set and it wasn't long before we were hunting for our prize.
Thank you Benjamin Screamer for getting us out tonight and sorry for the late log

The bananas should have bought Eric.
Eric is a ferret.
He would have got a good feed here, as every point of the compass showed signs of rabbits. Many scurrying away from the bananas as the treasure was approached.
Eric didn't come.
Eric doesn't fit into the golf bag.
For golf was on the agenda today. Trying to keep the handicap close to single figures as scores close to my age are rapidly approaching.
The treasure is good. Though a waterfall that high up in this flat volcanic landscape would need a lot of rain for the trickle to flow. But not today. Brilliant winter sunshine put an end to that opportunity.
Anyway cache owners always appreciate a good report. Some even say it is better than a favourite point. If there is only an effort to get there because it has never been found before and that motive dominates the whole gist of the report, does not make a unique report. From then on, better stories are few and far between, as cut and paste rather than unique report. Cache owners deserve better and better reports take a little time.
And also a slow report also provides the opportunity of a second visitor in the early days. A chance to show their true colours.
The bananas have entered a lot of races in their days with high emotions from wins and the opposite on loosing. Some announced. Others not. To accept the race has been lost and you can show respect for the victors without contempt shows you as a better person.
Nobody wants to here endless complaints.
So accept it. It is life
End of rant.

And the score today 84. It was a tough 1st round on a pretty course.
