Was out this way for a Canoe Club kayaking trip, so collected a few caches while out this way. Cache found and log signed.
Oh dear, 2 nd look. Kids scooters, jumpers, drink bottles and even a mobile phone with ear pods, left there, but no cache for us to see!
Out with Normanville for some caching along the peninsula. Had the area to ourselves & a quick find was made. Tftc
TFTC first find for a while after a bit of a dry spell, have tried to stop here a few times before but have been muggled out so happy to find this one
On the right side of the road when returning and parked fairly close to GZ. All good here as there was noone around so I could crane my neck to espy, then stoop and reach to retrieve. All good here, anice subtle hide.Keen to maintain my current SA streak (a modest 12 days but hey, happy with that). The nature of my work pattern today means a trip into work, back for some office type stuff, then back into work again later before some more office-based evening catch-ups. What this means is . . . . .having an hour or so to find some caches in the hottest part of the day! Just enough caches to round out the stats and clear a part of the gameboard North of me. Thanks to the COs, as ever.
Yuk have tried the purple ones and after a few I binned the rest.Thankfully another easy find.TFTC
Did Not Find 6:00pmTried and failed. Even my snoopy couldn't sniff it out and uncover it. TFTC *doineedthis*Personally I think it was cos she didn't look good enough.DAY 1*Little Panther* and I were out of bed at 2:30 am after having very little sleep. We arrived at the railway station at 3:30 am to catch the train, arriving at Sydney Airport at 6:00 am. Now for the pressure cooker bit, working out what we needed to do, and where we needed to go. Fortunately we managed to navigate our way to our seats. Arriving in Adelaide at 10am the pressure was on as we again navigated our way to collect our bags and locate the shuttle bus to go and collect our hire car.Settling into our car I discovered the GPS I brought was not working - grrr. To Waze we go I guess. Northward bound up the motorway and out of Adelaide, I was not excited about the countryside, it was not wat I expected, and I quickly decided I didn't really like Adelaide much. We headed to the *Barossa Reservoir* and the *Whispering Wall*, a place I had not been since I was 10. On arrival it was closed - No way !?! grrr !! Not happy Jan !! Can't do much about it, so we headed off to *Tanunda* and *Nuriootpa*. They were also not what I was expecting. But its been so long. I was amazed seeing just how big the wine region is here with grapes galore. I just wanted to come for a look for old time sake, so we didn't do much. With hands full of lollies and ice cream - the best ice cream I've ever tasted I might add [I love ice cream] - we headed down to *Hahndorf* to book into our accommodation. Dinner at Haus was a delicious crispy Vienna Schnitzel and Sauerkraut.DAY 2Off to the ***The Great Leap Forward Mega Event 2024*** at *Woodville South*. We arrived and signed the log book, enjoyed the fun gadget caches, a coffee, sausage sandwich, and chatted to two Canberra Cachers and one of our home local cachers who we haven't seen over a year. Oh, and bought some coins and other merchandise from the geocaching stall. Following on from that we went out caching and clocked up quite a few finds over the afternoon. *Little Panther* did a great job choosing the caches and navigating us to them. We couldn't possibly come to another state and not visit the beach. Some beach caches were very much enjoyed. Dinner was *Da Mario Pizzeria, Athelstone* - a nice crispy half and half 'Chicken and Chips' and 'Garlic Prawns' pizza. Then back to *Hahndorf* for a big sleep.DAY 3A late start to the day saw a cache find nearby, a visit to the Hahndorf Bakery for lots of *Bee Sting* to fly back with us to Sydney [we spent a small fortune here], and another run out to the *Whispering Wall*. Woo hoo, it was open !! I rang SA Water yesterday to ask about it. Thanks for not returning my phone call as you said you would, SA Water. Nevertheless it is open. The last time I came here I wasn't able to do the wall walk. My sister had a fear of heights and I had a fear of water. Today I have overcome my fear and walked the wall alone. I've been working hard on overcoming this fear. Next stop was the Rocking Horse at Gumeracha. I saw family photos of it, but have never been, so this was a must stop. Terrific souvenir shop. We went to the top of the horse and made some fairy floss before leaving. Some more caches were found before we returned our hire car, caught the shuttle bus to the airport, and flew back to Sydney.
Found it. Cache was on the floor so put it back where we think it was. Owner has been messaged
This morning I was in the North Western suburbs to attend a CITO event but I arrived early so I could grab a few smilies before the event. I had attempted this cache before but was muggled out. Today GZ was empty so I could search in peace so cache was found without problems. Thanks for the cache doineedthis.# # #13910 # #

Found at 22:22 on my way home after meeting a friend for dinner. I'd been here once before, when the cache was missing, so didn't need the GPS, and found the cache quickly.
Checked on this one and it's gone again, going to scout for a new hiding hole for this one, hopefully back soon
And a DNF from me too
Checked both possible hiding places aligned to the hint and came up blank on both
