While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
TftcI set out to do more of this trail. After recent weather, some of the edges were a bit soft. And patches of mud towards the caches. Though today's weather was sunny. It was all going well until a flat tire finished the day. Love all the ones that were found today. Most logs were quick to find. Most were still safe and dry. Find # 3 i quite liked the one.
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65
Thanks earthly65 for arranging this cache which has enhanced our enjoyment of the area. Favorite point
tftc, Despite the temp of 36 degrees, Made a start on this series today. As we only have a few days we will focus on those closest to our camp at Glenreagh rec reserve.
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
A clever construction with genius mechanics. So nice and bright!

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Found today with my dad while driving through the forest. Had a nice time caching our way through the forest, exploring as we went... After spotting this one container first we didn't know how to get the actual container out until we spotted the fishing pole which helped us... Found a little mushroom (a real one) growing on the fishing pole itself coincidentally.

We're in town for a long weekend, and with Mother's Day festivities tomorrow, were given a free day to explore more widely today, so we decided on a drive along the Magic Mushrooms.
We managed 48 out of 49 searches in cool conditions, with some occasional spits of rain. We had no difficulty in our Forester, but some areas at present would prove difficult for a 2WD for sure.
Caches along our route we haven't logged had difficult parking, so we left for another trip.
We enjoyed the variety of hides, good coordinates and great hints - thanks to all involved fo your efforts!
Dang it - we sloshed across the paddock through the very long grass to realise the pen was in the car - too exhausted to repeat, please accept a photo log! And - the cache (TOTT) is growing its own mushroom (like fungus).

Was caching with Wandering Me and Baby Birt on 29 Sept, on a 'shroom hunt but delayed logging until today for October mountain climbing souvenirs.

Must confess, when I saw GZ I was wondering if I was going to have the skill to get our name on the log but by George, I did. [^] Great hide, TFTC earthly65.
Geocaching on this lovely spring day with Wandering Me and Magpie Cottage. A glorious assortment of Magic Mushrooms. Great trail...

Ahh I picked well here as an option for my dog to get out for a walk. He was keen to eat some grass as always and so I let his long lead drop and went off to find the cache. He generally doesn't go too far from me unless he scents something - but that's all dogs hey.
It was very pleasant place to hang out for the time it took to walk to the cache, sign the log and wander back to the car again. tftc

The remainder of the much awaited mushroom trails were finaly published. Arrangements were made with pprass that we would make a camping trip out of it & we camped at Glenreagh for a few days.
This would give us time to find & appreciate the many varities of mushrooms hidden.
The weather was perfect for geocaching. The roads in the forest in some sections were being graded at the time. Good for a car maybe not on a bike.
What a huge job to make & maintain this trail, & like normal mushrooms they just continued to grow & evrybody wanted to get in on the action.
Thankyou earthly65 for placing this cache.

Found at 9:27 AM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
Not sure why this cache is rated a D3.0? Maybe it wasn't replaced as it was initially intended?
Thanks earthly65

Today we set out on a mission to find as many magic mushrooms as possible, the weather was perfect and we managed to find 55 with no DNF's.
Great to see such a large variety of creative and unique designs.
Thanks to all the contributors and thanks to earthly65 for hiding all the caches.
