Nope - no joy for us

16-Jun-24
We are travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching trip, using geocaching as our guide. We are in Beautiful Mt Gambier for a few days, soaking up the amazing things this area has to offer. We especially love the bush, back roads, and the wild southern seas. Unfortunately, this hide was too good for us today. TFTH.

I will drop in and check this one as soon as I can.

19-May-24
We were in Portland again visiting Dad. We decided to head across to Mt Gambia to try our luck at some caches there. Unfortunately the weather turned less than perfect but as we love a good celebration we headed here either 5 months too late or two months too early for the correct dates but really enjoyed this series. This is the only one we did not locate but that doesn't mean it is not there. It was probably just us not wanting to be in the passing shower too long. Thanks anyway We will return.

With the temperature hitting 40°C and the metre high grass growing right up to the bitumen, we had to pick and choose the caches we found today, as we headed toward the beach Smile. This little series worked well for us, being able to stay parked on this quiet road while we looked for the cache Big Grin.
Took us awhile to see the obvious Red Face. TNLNSL.
Thanks Scramping.

Nicely found as anticipated.
TFTC, a very easy park and grab, especially when you know what to look for.

26-Aug-22
Rock on! Cache and log all good.

17-Apr-22
Today is Easter Sunday the weather started out quite nice the fog was gone and the sky was cloudy. We knew this was going to change so we went out for a walk to the rocks. Amazing highlight of the day.
After that we went back to camp for bacon and egg brunch and as expected the rain came. We hunted a little more along the coast and then back to camp for hot cross buns.
Out for the afternoon to do a loop of caches and a walk at Nene Valley our Google maps called it neigh neigh valley which quite entertained me.
The bleak weather today meant no more snake encounters. Hoorah.
Back to camp for G&Ts and nibbles night what a fun way to spend Easter
Merry Christmas TFTC

20-Mar-22
I thought all my Christmases had come at once when I spied this cluster of 6 caches right on my route this morning. Port Macdonnell to Beachport today on a fine mild morning.
No other vehicles seen on this nice white gravel road.
All caches found in good order.
Thanks scramping.

Found with Team Waldron during a trip to the south-east for a few days. On Day 1 we travelled via Meningie, the Coorong and Kingston SE to Millicent and Tantanoola. On Day 2, we toured around Glencoe and completed the STCL series, Colour by Song series, and the AooA series (and found any other caches along the way). On Day 3 we cached around Tarpeena then to Mt Gambier to do the Adventure Lab caches and down to Port MacDonnell. On the final day we completed the Honan Mint Trail and found the southern half of the Awaken and Live series before time got the better of us and we headed for home. Thanks for the cache scramping!

The great Geoventure 2020 tour....take 2...which is of course now in 2021 Surprised Once again it myself and AnyMules doing things that not many sane people would attempt. [:o)]

Day 10: Woo Hoo another sunny day so it was off into the forests following the unfound boxes. Cool Some rather fantastic locations hidden away in them there forests Big Grin
* If anything was particularly interesting then there will be a comment

Here.. We found tinsel and pudding and gifts and baubles and carolsSmile

otherwise we found all the caches we looked for and they were in good condition.

Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. Twisted So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. Cool That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]

***Thanks scramping for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

Completed this small series late in the day with clare007, Gizmos Gang and JJ52. The "Dry Weather Road" ............... wasnt!!!!! Heavy rain had made it very slippery and it bucketed down from the time we started the first one till way after we found the last! Used a common sticker for the first one with out initials on it but the rain meant this wasnt working so we logged the others as "MisFits" to have the log exposed for the least time in the rain. On finishing we continued down the track until a fallen tree nearly blocked the entire width. On going round I got the Forrester bogged!!! After some cursing the car was extracted leaving me and it covered in the white mud of the soggy road surface ..... all good fun!!
