Logs
I think i found this cache in the first 100 or so caches found and my live log never went through about 10 years ago. The near by waterfalls is where i spent my 2nd fathers day with the Mini Maker. There were yabbies in the pond at the bottom of the falls then. Fav point. Also i used to walk my dog around here alot, even across the waterfall and following the track to the upper part of the falls which is now blocked off. Quick find. Dropped trackable.Found with Mogni. Plan A was head out and grab a few caches and do a gorge hike near Normanville but i got the weather wrong and the rains didn't stop, just rained on and off all day. So instead we headed south and cache between the showers targeting mainly park and grabs to stay dry plus do some cache maintenance for Lady Loene. We did place some more caches today as well.
A rainy day, but we had had the place to ourselves. Beautiful falls flowing with all the recent rain. TFTC
Currently staying in Victor Harbour. Decided to visit the waterfalls. Quick easy find. TFTC
Found it! Beautiful wander at the Falls after breakfast in Normanville. Can't believe weve never been here before. TFTC!
Di insisted the kids wanted me to go caching for fathers' day, and beyond... so a full day and late night, early morning it was!
A quick find of a much newer cache than the listing. Nice to find an older listed cache in our travels. Walked to falls too for water and gravity combo.
Sincere appreciation for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance Hurtle .

Country, Coast and City... Caches and crazy company!
On the roads again, with Jack, and Purrfect Di driving and caching along the way wherever we go
[^] [^]
In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees
- - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]
----------
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on
(Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!))
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
C'est fini... For now... ... until next time!

An unexpected find this morning after a quick hike to the Ingalalla Falls.

Quick little stop. Kids loved the little stick teepees someone has made around the trees tftc
TFTC! Finally found it on our second geocache. Found with @Debellius on a lovely Friday afternoon.
A nice quick stop. From all the times we had been to Normanville growing up we had never heard of this marvel.
Thankyou for the cache. We did have to go through safety barriers but it was a quick find.

A quick find
Had to go through some safety barriers in place as they are tree felling at the moment replaced with natural cammo to hide it so it’s not so in the open
Cheers for the cache

After a quick visit to the falls, including a slip into the water, I wanted this cache! Found it after another fall. Will be sore tomorrow! Tftc
#16457 - 5:15:00 PM; Day four of our South Australian R & R and after an unfortunate diagnosis on the geomobile yesterday, I headed off in to Adelaide to collect a temporary geomobile for the trip home while ours headed off to the hospital in Victor Harbour for treatment. The geohoney remained back at base today and after I returned from the big smoke, we headed out to the falls for a look around before we head for home tomorrow. A short detour and I had the cache in hand and the log signed. TFTC Klems' Mob
Even though this cache is nearly 20 years old it's not the oldest cache I did today.
I took the Geocoins and will move them on.
Glad to clear this one off the dnf list.

Day 14, week 3 of 5 weeks holiday.
Rockhampton Queensland to all over South Australia.
10 degrees, I loves trees and stuff that blocks out the wind, beautiful.
The falls nearby are spectacular in a modest sort of way.
No 300 meter drop here, just getting along with business.
Unless you go all the way to the right you don’t realise there is more you can see further up.
When we first arrived near the cache I looked at the path headed up the hill and thought #@&*.
Steep at the best of times but on a wet day like today also?
Looking back at the iPad I saw that the GZ wasn’t that far away, whew.
Did the usually dance too and fro under the trees till I bothered to look up long enough to look around properly.
Ah hah. That looks likely.
A nice new container and fresh log which gets quickly signed and replaced with maybe a little extra on top so it can be seen as easily.
Thanks to Klems’ Mob the original placer of the cache and Gridge for continuing it.

messaged owner to help with cache earlier but no response i didn't want to just go ahead and replace without talking to you first
Replaced see photo as per hide,
We saw this was missing so came with a good replacement to keep this 20 year old cache alive. Cache is at a lovely location.
This weekend we headed south to the fleurieu peninsula for a camping night away and to also attend a CITO at Victor Harbour plus find a few caches along the way, total of 70 for the trip and a nice 2 days away.
Thanks for the cache

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Tricky look after coming out of the beautiful waterfall. We think the coords is wrong or the cache has been stolen. Checked under every log but nothing. Hopefully the cache still exists and we might be able to find it next time. Good luck for fellow cachers!
Today is public holiday. I and J plus the little one visited Hindmarsh Falls and Ingalalla Waterfalls. We tried some caches on the way, and found 5 caches today.
This was the fourth cache I found today.
After we arrived Ingalalla Waterfalls carpark, I tried this cache as it's next to the carpark.
It was a quick and easy find. Container is in a good condition.
Took nothing, left nothing. Signed the log, and re-hid it.
Thanks for the easy cache, Klems' Mob.

7 years of travelling Australia and yet we have never visited Normanville so we are here now to rectify that. With clouds overhead, and some light rain forecast we waited until after lunch to do a short tour today following our GPSr.

Geodaughter found this one in the drizzling rain on a cool summers morning. So many people down here - it was crazy! Car park full and lots of people interested in the waterfall. TFTC
Another cache and another 2002, love that there is so many great old caches here! Lovely area and such a short walk from the carpark which was busy today...a popular spot.
Trip log:
When it comes to our trips for GreyHams and myself, opportunity seems to play a big part in the timings.. be it an event, sales on airfares or car hire, in this case it was my visiting SA and being there that worked so well for this one!
So it was a drive up to Adelaide to collect GreyHams from the airport and then a trip that would see us ending up in Mount Gambier in the South east of SA, close to my family holidaying nearby and conveniently located that GreyHams could fly home to his. Perfect when a plan just comes together!!!
The primary target of the trip was counties, about 21 in total and we had almost the complete opposite need of counties from each other. Of course we also targeted other caches of importance, oldies dominated the state but there was DT, virtuals, webcams, Ausmer and types. If your cache made our list it had a quality we were wanting, or as GH says, we were waiting for a ferry or a plane!
What a variation in the places we visited, from Adelaide's suburbs out into the hills, the ferry across to Kangaroo Island for the night and the many coastal regions through Victor Harbour and Goolwa. Through Murray Bridge and out into Mallee Country to Lameroo before turning and finding a great bed and meal at the Keith Hotel. Continuing South into the very bottom of the SE of SA before returning north slightly to make the plane, in time and that arrived! So much wild life through the areas and locations of interest, it was great!
Had to love the Santas through the Adelaide hills, seems that stuffing a Santa suit is an art form all of its own, and entertained us for a long time! Kayaking to an island on Kangaroo Island was fun and although the donut from Port Elliot bakery had to pass with masses already queueing... the chunky steak pie from Willunga Bakery might not have been as good as a pepper pie later but it was still damn good! Its the little things sometimes!!!
Many thanks for your cache that led us about on a varied and very enjoyable trip!

Can’t beat a nice easy find like this oldie
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This trip came together due in the best way! Aquilus1 was over in SE SA visiting family, yet had a bunch of counties unfound between Adelaide CBD and Victor Harbour, I was missing all the counties south & east of Strathalbyn. What could be better than flying over from Canberra and being picked up at ADL airport and knocking of ALL the counties all the way to Mt Gambier, where I flew out. Last minute Covid shenanigans in Sydney & Melbourne threatened to derail it, but all good.
Of course our trips are more than just counties....we have a range of targets: Oldies, webcams/virtuals, larges with challenges and D/T thrown in for fun. If you are reading this log, then this cache had some quality we were hunting (or we were waiting for ferries or planes!)
We saw such a change in countryside, from Adelaide Hills, to Kangaroo Island, up to Borrika and then down to 'the Mount'....and the Santas! I can see areas where christmas lights arent the done thing, its stuffing your own Santa and posing them in the front garden, saw some very funny examples, we were chuckling for an hour I swear.
South Australia has such a wealth of very old caches, its wonderful. We grabbed lots of oldies and are now just a single find off our Ausmer challenges (just need to get to Melbourne or Brisbane for the last).

We enjoyed a lovely walk to the waterfall before stopping by GZ to look for this. The cache was exposed so re-hid it with a little cammo covering before exploring the area some more. Nice to find another old one! TFTC Klem's Mob
Nice quick find. Phone GPS accuracy is terrible but got there eventually. Tftc!
What a great walk into this little waterfall didn't expect to see any running water at all at this time of the year, but we were surprise with a small stream, I can only imagine what it would be like in the wet season. We enjoyed the short walk from the picnic area to the cache and then on to the rock pools and waterfall. On the way we met a nice man walking with his dog who only wanted to play.thanks for bringing us here Klems mob and TFTC keep on laughing Kookacrew
Mr Tardis was on a trip down south and stopped by here to find this one. I've never visited this park before. I found the cache after a short search in the logical place.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Klems' Mob and Hurtle for the maintenance.
PS: Sorry for taking over a year to log my find. I really need to get my logging more organised!

Off on a road trip to the Silo Art tour Vic, Mildura, Goolwa SA, Maitland SA and then home via Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, and the Grampians, picking up some caches along the way as we see the sights. We are now staying in Goolwa and headed over to Cape Jervis via Ingallala Falls. As there were a couple of Muggles who arrived in the carpark at the same time as we did we decided to check out the falls first and find the cache on the way back which we did, while another couple of Muggles were at the falls. The GPS initially had us all over the place, but it was Mr Pooky who made the find after walking around in circles. TFTC TNLN.
We really enjoyed the waterfalls in a Sunday early morning with not too many muggles, we found this cache quick but I forgot my pen, then the pencil in the cache was broken, tried to write our names and took a picture
