As I am not from Beaconsfield, I will refrain from doing any complaining. Of course, how could anyone complain about getting out caching on such a beautiful day!I have been currently obsessed with finding **Sidetracked** caches lately, and so I originally came down to the Beaconsfield area to specifically find the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=52ec3800-6e31-467f-b0cb-c76ee02dee12&ds=2) [SideTracked - Beaconsfield (GC9VKJ6)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9VKJ6_sidetracked-beaconsfield) cache. However, I actually got off work early today, which meant I had a bit of time to actually find a few caches in the area today. Well besides targeting **Sidetracked** caches lately, I have also been trying to find more **"Other"** size caches, in order to work on qualifying for one of [DARKSIDEDAN's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=2a2a54fb-66e6-4b02-ad79-fae27aa04984&wid=d76ce52b-99f9-47c6-b3ec-151b8ca2715d&ds=2) challenge caches, [CHALLENGE - The Odd-sized Cacher - Gold (GC93XJD)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC93XJD).So after finding the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=52ec3800-6e31-467f-b0cb-c76ee02dee12&ds=2) [SideTracked - Beaconsfield (GC9VKJ6)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9VKJ6_sidetracked-beaconsfield) cache I then headed on over to attempt to find this one. I ended up finding a place to park the geomobile near the oval on the other side of the road and then continued to GZ on foot. After finding several of the [CO's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=52ec3800-6e31-467f-b0cb-c76ee02dee12&ds=2) **"Other"** size caches lately, I think I have started to figure out their hiding style as this one was spotted on my approach to GZ. Once I arrived at GZ, I was able to quickly grab the cache and retreat to a less busy area, where I was able to sign the log in peace. A big thanks goes to [Pinkpiggy7](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=eaa1e02c-5a02-4542-b1ad-d2e429ced493&wid=52ec3800-6e31-467f-b0cb-c76ee02dee12&ds=2) for another fun cache. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status:**The cache container was in good and the attachment mechanism still seemed strong. However the plastic bag protecting the logbook was now ripped and is not providing as much protection from the elements. There was a little bit of moisture on the log side of the cache, but luckily the logbook was still clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.

Thanks for the quick grab ! Log is full and wet and the plastic is ripped #397!

Woohoo, I finally made one of Pink Piggy's Flash Mob 3 am events. It is in my calendar every year, but I never seem to be able to make it. Mostly because I'm still sleeping or don't want to wake the family. However, this time, I was wide awake anyway, so why not be wid awake with a bunch of geocachers. Great turn out and a lot of chatting went on. So much so that the event went at least 30 minutes over time.I then thought I'd grab a few local geocaches that I've been avoiding because it is always busy when I'm in the area. The CO caught me at the first geocache, pretended to be the police and then gave me a hint. Second geocache, the real police pulled me over and wanted to know what a dodgy guy like me was doing at Officer train station at 4.30 in the morning. Fortunately, the third geocache was found without incident. Thanks for the cache, Pink Piggy 7.Hunter

Time for another 11.59 cache collection to keep this souvenir streak thing happening. I don't like streaking for the month. I can't wait until the month is over, and I can go back to caching while wearing pants!

Ah yes, I am the comedy master...

I totally DID NOT park in the no-stopping zone a little before midnight to collect this cache, and then sit about and plan my after-midnight cache heist.

Wow. Very sneaky. This one. We saw one like this just the other week in Benalla. Tftc these roads are very very busy. Giving this one a fav because it is hard to get to and very close to a lot of traffic. Thanks for putting cache here for us to come and find. Cheers.

We had been in the nearby area for Operation logbook! Some of the Mega committee working on an assemble, staple, chop and stuff.

No complaints here from me as the quick find was made, although I must say it must be a common theme of local Facebook groups (or even social media in general).

Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

After spending half the day finishing off some mega business in Narre Warren, it was time for a spot of caching.

Found a relatively close spot to park. Some teens were standing at the bus stop and we thought we’d need to wait for the bus. But they decided to move on. Win win!!

Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Pinkpiggy7

**08/01/2022, 14:05:00**
**Find #4818**
**Traditional Find #3016**

I had planned an afternoon of caching after attending a working bee at a nearby sporting club but after the working bee, I was too knackered to do much. I went looking for a park and grab and this one fitted the bill.
I have two complaints to lodge. 1. the hill I had to walk up after parking my car in a nearby court was damn hard work after a mornings work and a BBQ lunch and 2. those damn flies at GZ. They're small, black flies that get into your ears, mouth, nose and eyes and merely waving your hand isn't enough to persuade them the leave. Harumphhh.. well I'm glad I've been able to get those two peeves off my chest. RazzRazz
Fortunately, the hide was of a type that I've seen before so it was a quick find for which I was grateful. The potential for GZ to be a high muggle area is high and I just wanted to get home so I could put my feet up. Big Grin

**Thank-you to Pinkpiggy7 for placing this geocache**

04-Jan-22
* The CO has not supplied adequate parking at GZ.
(Unless you're driving a bus or a passenger on one)
*I was forced to walk from the church to both caches!
*The CO has used the word 'to' two times too many, when really it is meant to be 'too'.
*The cache was in direct sunlight and was too hot to touch.
*The caches are numbered in the wrong order.
(I had to log 2 before 1... Arrrgh)
*I don't live in Beaconsfield!
*I hate cut and paste logs!

Found at 2:54 pm.
With a little spare time this afternoon I headed on a nice easy drive down the freeway with 2 tagalongs and just for a few of whatever we came across for a hour or so.
Well this short series was disappointing:
- No where to park at GZ's except on the nature strip
- Locations were way too exposed
- I don't like ? sized caches, I can never see them
Still enjoyed it though and surprised myself with the ? sizes.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

*Found on the 28 Dec 2021 @ 12:45 pm.*
*Cache find # 12187.*

After leaving the Mt. Cannibal event, I was heading back to Berwick to finish the adventure lab and realised that this one still needed to be found.
This was certainly an easy find as it was spotted a number of metres away, the log was signed and I then headed to #1.

**Thanks to Pinkpiggy7 for placing this cache.**

Found this one with SciFiRulz:) TFTC

27-Dec-21
Found with PapaGrouch. We were in the area again and saw that there were a couple of new caches since the last time we were here. We stopped to find this one on the way past. Another quick find, just hung out waiting for a bus until the muggle cars had moved along. TFTC

22-Dec-21
After a long unplanned 12hr shift at work I ended up running late to a Christmas dinner with a couple of friends. This left me no choice but to grab a cache on the way home from said event. Given that it was quarter to midnight I stopped in Beaconsfield and began attempting a cache nearby. As that plan unraveled and I began running out of time I switched focus to this cache. I don't usually run, but if you saw a lunatic running wildly through Beaconsfield late at night please don't complain, it was just me in need of a cache of the day. I'm sure you understand haha!
I managed to find this with two minutes to spare and puffed all the way back to the car. Turns out I probably should run more

Thanks for the cache!

20-Dec-21
Of course we had to stop for the other in this set.
We enjoyed the matching hide.
Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for all of these caches that you have put out there.
Chiefton!!!

06-Dec-21
Well Beaconsfield might complain about my parking prowess on this one .. technically, I didn't Park on the bus stop and more importantly my activities would be hidden from passing traffic. Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for another clever hide.

Found by Rebel Acts

Another day out with My good caching mate Omegaman1971 to grab a few caches. It seemed ironic all the metro people headed to regional and I headed to Metro. Today seemed a day for finding bisons Sad

This is one of the caches We found today.

Thanks Pinkpiggy7 for the cache.

Cheers for the cache.

I found this cache today on my Berwick to Officer Caching Morning. Well this intersection was nothing like this last time I was here. I loaded up today and didn't realise that they were new and got to put the second name into the logbook behind Team Crackers. Thanks from D B-A.

25-Oct-21
We came here after school to find these 2 Beaconsfield treasures and Geoboy was spot on again with this one as our second find.

Mr. Crackers was heading to work but decided to stop and have a look for this one on his way in. He must be out of practice as even though he searched for a while he had no joy.

We will return.

22-Oct-21
Ok, well that is interesting, we placed this cache about 3 months ago, and finally sent of the cache page about 2 months ago during lockdown, knowing it wouldnt be published just yet,

I drive past it at least 10 times a week and note that it is still there in it's hidden in plain sight hiding spot. I drove past as late as yesterday and it was there, I promise.

So today when I get a write note from MR crackers and a PAF from another team, both who I know would be able to find it even without borrowing my glasses, I suspect that there is something wrong, so I drive past after my last job, and it is THERE. What the.

Park a bit further and go check it, no signatures, open up the app and it's not showing up there either, expand it out, and find it 191metres from where I am standing. What the.

Check my phone and GPS, and the correct co-ords for where I am standing on both of them. What the.

Ok, I have requested the kind reviewers to update the co-ords as they are beyond the 161m mark for me moving it.

I promise I will give myself a stern talking to.

My apologies to those who have already taken a look, I will enable when it's moved.

22-Oct-21
We dropped in at this one this morning on the way to work but unfortunately came up with nothing.
Later in the day we got a text from the CO in reply to our write note saying that we hadn't lost our ability to find cacahes, the co-ords were out a little.
On the way back from a days caching around St Kilda, which was our way of celebrating freedom day we rechecked the cache page to see if it had been enabled and found that it hadn't been yet but there was a magic number of meters mentioned.
We went to number 1 first to see if we could sort out what sort of container we maybe looking for and then headed off to gz and then started looking at the magic number of meters. We were surprised at how many locations matched the distance but had nothing to give but eventually we got lucky, found what we were looking for and very happily added our name to the blank log.

Many thanks Pinkpiggy7, we certainly have nothing to complain about and this is now the second of your caches that we have managed to locate without co-ords and a FTF to boot.

22-Oct-21
Hmm. What happened there. Must be lockdown fat fingers. It will return
