Sydney Day 3 - Weather is not looking good today so the plan is to stay in the city center and to visit a few museums Quick find after the lab, tftc ! Greetings from France
Over in Sydney visiting one of our sons and picking up some caches as well. We came over to Darling Harbour today to go on a cruise and I managed to complete this ALC whilst we were here. Great little bonus cache, thanks for setting this up
We spend a few days in Sydney and enjoy the city with its unique sights, buildings and parks. We also search for and create caches, virtual and lab caches. This takes us to places we would not have visited otherwise. The caches are in very good condition and the hints helpful and they were all dry and there was still enough space for the next cachers. Many thanks and greetings from the Moorhelmi
Completed the Adventure Lab seven months ago. A ferry was about to depart, do I hop onto it? Or watch it go if I wanted to find this bonus cache? Yeap the smiley can wait. A quick find without that hinted camo. Thanks Calypso62
Up in the city doing a bit of cache maintenance, I finally had time to complete the AL and grab this associated bonus cache.TFTC
Found at 16:42I completed the AL this morning while on our way to the ferry. On our way back to the hotel this afternoon and we were passing right by gz soooo made the quick grab between muggle passerbys. Thanks Calypso62 for the cache
A very quick find at 5.00am. This was the perfect time for the find as no one was around and we were heading to the airport anyway. TFTC.
I couldnt believe it when I finished the adventure lab and got the final GZ! I had walked past the cache so many times especially as I was staying near by this Fathers Day weekend with my family, like I literally walked past it on the way to do the adventure lab. Extra fuel for Cosmic Quest. TFTC bonus.
Streak Day #4069 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, stopped by for a quick find after completing the AL. TFTC
31 August 2024This is find number: 10371Streak Day: 3180Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find after completing the Adventure. ThanksThanks to Calypso62 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Traffic had eased heading back along Victoria Road after the Battlecache Event so I madly decided to continue into the city and finally tick off this bonus (having completed the AL ages ago). Seeing the Saturday night foot traffic in the area confirmed my madness but luckily for me, a car pulled out of a parking spot as close as you could be to GZ so I jumped out, made the quick find and was back on the road out of the CBD in less than 10 minutes.
A trip to the Maritime Museum to see the wildlife photography exhibition was combined with the AL which morphed into this cache. TFTC
Tftc. Lovely to explore the Maritime museum. Cache easily found with red_ear_slider once gz was obtained.
Found with Portstevo after checking out the museum, sub and vampire. Loved the wildlife photography exhibition they have on. Thanks for the AL, was fun! Tftc
A quick walk around the museum on a nice day off. Got the needed answers, and made a quick walk over to the find. Seems so bold of a hide! Now off to the next one!
Its been a while, decided to venture out while the sun is shining. Completed the Adlab, armed with the necessary coords arrived at GZ @12.55pm. The lady sitting there painting was oblivious to what I was up to. Located find #354, excited to find TB as Im off on holiday soon. SLRC as found. TFTC.
Clues found last year. This trip back grabbed the prize. Seemed a touch damp inside. Thanks.
Having a nice walk in the City. I finished the AL earlier in the year. Back for the bonus today.
11:58Cold & wet? Yes! but a ferry fun day out and about around Sydney with fellow Victorians - long time caching buddies Suscoe. After completing the adventure, it was a real bonus to add our names to the log here.A BIG thank you to %Name who placed this cache.37110
After completing this interesting Adventure Lab we did our calculations and headed to GZ.A quick find and we were very pleased with ourselves.Found in the company of our good friends Phetlern. Thanks to Calypso62.
Sydney/Vivid/Underworld/Geocaching 2024Day FourWeather: Rain easing. I think I had trouble completing the Adventure Lab, requiring some googling, and resulting in me no longer being in Sydney when the coordinates for the bonus were revealed. Now Im back and collecting! Incredibly convenient to where I am staying this time around. Thanks for the Adventure Lab and the bonus cache Calypso62.
Schneller Fund, the hint doesn't fit the actual box at all - no SPW to be found here..
A lovely sunny Sunday afternoon looking just like the photo in the cache notes. We enjoyed our walk around the Museaum with Mrs Gaztek spending half the walk making a vampire teeth smile. Collected our words and turned them into coordinates. The container is well-hidden but there is no longer a SPW to conceal it. Thanks as always to C62. SL TFTC Cheers Gaztek
Finally got to come back and get the bonus cache for this great AL. TFTC CALYPSO62
Thank you for the Bonus and the Lab. Unfortunately we didn't have time to visit the muSEAum, maybe next time!
Sydney trip for Egyptian Exhibition Day 3. Having visited the fantastic Egyptian exhibition yesterday, I was heading home today. I had most of the day to wander around town before heading off in the afternoon back to Canberra. My walk today took me over the bridge into Darling Harbour and up the hill beyond to Ultimo. There was a bit of a loop around the back end of Darling Harbor before finding lunch at a tiny cafe in a back street. I then headed to the east of the station for a few caches before finding a place to sit and rest my feet till it was time to get on the train. A long few days, but it has been fun.I enjoyed my walk around the outside of the museum site looking at the items included in the set of Labs he5re. With that done I was able to get the GZ for this cache. Apart from waiting ages to get over the road, the cache was found without any problems in its spot. Thanks for the cache Calypso6246272.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Blarney A#95**Albida**
Coords spot on. Satellite not so much.Love a non sequential. It worked out well for the bonus anyways without someone forcing me.Nice lab. Thanks for bringing us here. Tftc
Exciting times over the next couple of weeks as we takeoff for the Capital GeoBash in Canberra! Its going to be a flood of Sandgropers over east, with a host of West Aussies making the trek east for the event. Im travelling with fellow Cockburn Crew members Leg5 and Barnzy12, starting in Sydney and hitting the road to Canberra on Good Friday, before returning back to Sydney. Honourary mention to our fellow member, Cravo10, who couldnt make it after recently introducing a new geocacher to the world the week prior. Once in Canberra, the agenda is set, well team up with a host of Western Australians to conquer caches. Collectively, were hoping to make it the biggest ever weekend for cache finding. Following the event, the journey continues back to Sydney, with a mission to clean up caches and new Local Government Areas (LGAs), ensuring no cache is left unturned in this epic geocaching adventure. Something tells me that well need a holiday after this, well, holiday. Todays plan was to clean up a few Sydney caches before making our way out of town towards Canberra for an evening arrival. All logs have been signed as WAC to save space, abbreviation for Western Australia Crew. Cheers Calypso62! Join us in Augusta, in Western Australias South West, for WA Goes Big 2024 (GCAGV8Y) on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 September. Log your will attend now!
Cockburn Crew on tour to the Canberra Mega. Day 1 involved a bunch of caching around Sydney before making our way to Canberra for the Capital Geobash. We found a huge variety of caches, and its great to cache in new territory that we havent explored much in the past. Unlike our home state of Western Australia where we have found just about anything and everything.A beautiful day with great weather and even better company. Thank you to the local COs for a great day in and around this great country of ours.
Out and about again, headed over to Sydney early in the morning, grabbed a hire car and got some local hides before driving to Canberra for the MEGA. Super excited my first MEGA and heading over with 2 others from the Cockburn Crew - signed log as WAC to save time. This is 14255, hoping to clock over the 15,000 finds in the week in New South Wales and ACT.Thanks to Calypso62 for the caches we found.********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024 OZMEGA2024********** ********** ********** ********** ********** **********Head over to Australian Capital Territory for Capital GeoBash MEGA - Canberras first ever Mega Event. Back in Sydney. Hot sunny day, nice caches. Greetings from Finland Thank you for this cache.
Had to wait until the end of the day to find the bonus and even with heaps of muggles about, they were focused on Friday night drinkies. Thanks for this compact AL.

We were docked in Sydney Australia for two days on our ship - Holland America's Volendam. On day 2, we walked about 10 miles in the city and found 24 Lab Stops across a number of Labs. We then had time to do 3 caches before heading back to the ship.Thank you to the Lab creators and the cache COs for their efforts.#####################This Cache: Quick Find, after completing the "All Hands On Deck" Lab and providing the Checker with the correct information to obtain the Final coords for the cache.

Geocachers on tour. We are a travel group with almost 40 people from Germany and we log with Downunder 2024 to save space. We visited this cache All Hands On Deck - AL Bonus Cache today and it is in the logbook. The tour group includes: gc, AndyausDu, AmoebeST, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-Tina, Gazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, HFo, hupsi-1, karrai *, Leilah03, lenny love, Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, Ollilein, Opaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins, Simowl, sozioma, Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuo Thank you very much
Danke fr diesen Geocache. Danke fr die Ausarbeitung. Danke frs Zeigen.Lieber Gru aus Duisburg / DeutschlandAndyDieser Logeintrag wird mit Hilfe von Google bersetzt.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________We set off on a long journey with 37 geocachers from Germany, Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Three weeks to Australia and New Zealand, starting with a stopover in Doha, Qatar. I have never been so long and so far away from home. An exciting time. When geocaching, the focus was on many different cache types, but also special ratings, challenges and especially a few very old caches from the years 2000 and 2001. But also, of course, especially the geocaches that were easily accessible on foot from the hotel.Of course, the focus wasn't just on geocaching; the sights of the individual stations we visited also deserved attention. We entered our team name Downunder 2024 in the logbooks, saving logbook space and efficiently. It was a very special trip in a large team, which was also a lot of fun. After leaving Doha yesterday, we visited Sydney today.Due to the large number of caches, there is usually only one standard log, for which I would like to apologize to the different owners. Thanks for this geocache. Thanks for the elaboration. Thank you for showing me.Kind regards from Duisburg / GermanyAndyThis log entry is translated with the help of Google.
We had a great time in Sydney and looked at many sights. That's how we came across this cache here too.?? This is how we solved this LAB series and were then able to register in the bonus logbook.I am also part of the large tour group from Germany, for reasons of space, we have entered the logbook as **DownUnder24**.Thank you for luring and hiding, says ollileinThe tour group includes: gc, AndyausDu, AmoebeST, B@cker-1, Biggidag, Brummelbren, CacheTaucher, cooljo, Fotopinguin, Freizeit-Tina, Gazelle5111, GEO Karen, GoanToni, HFo, hupsi-1, karrai *, Leilah03, lenny love, Lupus54, Maxipimpf, muschel3, Ollilein, Opaundenkel, penalty96, Rheins, Simowl, sozioma, Sr. Elli, Team Zyanor, viko76, Webmasterrollerin, Whlhase, XenSuo

Together with 36 other geocachers, the KiSt team undertook a very long trip to Australia ???? and New Zealand ???? for three weeks. On both the outward and return journeys, there was a stopover in Doha, the capital of Qatar ????.We experienced a great deal on this trip and gained many very different impressions of the two countries, their nature and their culture. Of course, the main focus was on visiting as many caches of as many different types as possible and also all accessible old cans. However, we also made sure to visit many special places of interest and to gain as comprehensive an impression as possible of nature and its flora and fauna. To save the logbooks, we usually signed in with our team name **Downunder24**. For "special" cans, however, we have not missed the opportunity to leave our nickname as well. This beautiful cache is now also one of our finds.Due to the large number of caches visited, it is unfortunately not possible for us to write an individual log for each can, which is why we would like to apologize to the owners for this collective log.We also met other cachers at some of the events and were able to share our experiences. Many thanks to the event owners!Of course we would like to thank all the owners for showing us the great locations, the sometimes tricky puzzles, exciting multis and wherigos, as well as the interesting virtuals and earth caches - TFTC!!!---In der Besetzung KiSt unternahmen wir zusammen mit 36 weiteren Geocachern fr drei Wochen eine sehr weite Reise nach Australien ???? und Neuseeland ????.

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visite on foot a part of Sydney, we walk the streets guided by the caches. Sydney IS very Big.Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

In Sydney for work and glad to see a few new caches close to the hotel. After downing a chicken burger, I thought some caching to work it off was in order. This cache was a great evening plan for me.Thanks to Calypso62 for the fun and the adventure.
Nice and quiet here after heading in after an adequate night asleep. We walked through yesterday but the phone was playing ip, wish Id brought the NSW desiring TB!A first full day in Sydney and a game of three halves. Was off out at 0620 for a few out at Darling Harbour. After breakfast back out again on foot to Harbour bridge, Opera House and Macquarie point then back to apartment. Last part was a stroll around Chinatown and a beer before calling it a day. 18kms walked and a few more NSW finds for the fun. Thanks to all COs though the TFTC series is seriously awesome.
TFTC! And the adventure lab! Rainy day Might not be the best time to log the cache as water is everywherefun time though!
TFTC. I had a chuckle when I read 2Pods log. My name changes all the time. A nice quick find once we got the coordinates. I havent been in this area in years. Lots of changes.
Gangbang, my minions, text Sabby nine, and Goldberry17. Fortunately one had done it before, as we couldnt get the certitude to verify our solution. TFTC
Too hot to be wondering around in the sun today, so I scanned the geo map for something a little cozier. I saw this one outside the Maritime museum and was instantly sold. We made our way there, collected the information onthe adventure lab and then found the cache. A nice hunt and find! We then spent the rest of the day exploring the navel vessels and the museum itself. Thanks for the fun hide and giving me an excuse to come check out the museum!
After completing the AL, eventually reading the instructions correctly, got the corrected coords. Quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to CO.

Going for an afternoon walk when I stumbled upon this easy (except for one) adventure lab. Thanks for the cache! It was hiding in plain sight.

Finished the interesting AL a while ago, then found cache after another visit to the museumThankyou
A nice quick find, there were 3 German wood geocoins which weren't logged as dropped off in this cache, I retrieved one before realising that they had not been logged.

Another trip to Sydney for work and with it being a sunny morning I jogged to GZ and completed the AL in beautiful sunshine, then a quick find after quickly gathering the clues. tftc
First trip Down Under. Here visiting a few days before taking an obscenely large cruise ship to New Zealand.Thank you for the AL. Very interesting. However, the cache was out in the open and on the ground. I tucked it away a bit better.May the Fog Be With You!
Im visiting Sydney for the weekend, flying from Brisbane, primarily to see the stage production of Wicked, but also to go caching, which I factored into my schedule. I travelled from the airport to Central Station and hen zigzagged my way from there to my hotel, caching as I went. After dropping my bags in the room, I proceeded to continue caching in the Pyrmont area, towards the Maritime Museum precinct. Some interesting sites and information here, even just from the outside of the museum. As I made my way back to my hotel, I then found this cache, as per the hint. Thanks, Calypso62, for the interesting information in a lovely spot, and for hiding a bonus cache too.
My Third time in this place. Cache have moved. A quick find just as the rain was starting. Thanks.
