Logs
After realising the geocache had severe damage to the container and logbook it was replaced with a new container and logbook.
An afternoon drive in a very familiar area.First stop Yarra Junction for a library cache, but they were closed for lunch. We then took EveTheStaffy for a run down on the oval and found a nano.Back again to wait for the library to open. Headed inside with +Wife and worked our way through the magnificent multi. We stopped here on our way home, as we have done many times before. Found a heap of caches to finish off the day.A lovely walk.+Wife wished she still had her horse. That would have been the perfect way to do this series.
We were in the area after completing the Library cache in Yarra Junction then in went in search of some nearby caches wher we discovered the UYSC Outdoor Education Series by blattm77. What a great initiative! The students are very lucky to have this option. We had parked nearby and wandered over to GZ where we made a quick find of a cache hidden in a clever way.. a favourite point given. Thanks blattm77 for the cache.
Caching in the area with Skylizard today we were very happy to come across this series- what a great idea. A lovely area. Cool hide. TFTC
Two members of iTEEM headed out into the valley to collect the youngest from a party. Leaving home earlier and braving the weather, we made a few cache finds on the way. Having found #6, we moved on to this one. E made the find of the neatly placed hide while T was still inspecting the structure. We signed one of the many logs in the container. All in good dry condition. TFTC blattm77
Last one before heading back home in a hot and sweaty state enjoyed the chance to sit down for a bit
Just a check to make sure all was in order which was the case. Logbook added into the cache.
The sixth and final cache we found on our trip to Alexandra this one was really cool I love these kind of caches thanks beanie and blattm for this series TFTC find 187
Found it! Seeing at GZ there was a pony club event happening nearby. We had to wait til the muggle pony and it people go by before I could explore the structure for the hidden prize. Well I didnt have to look too hard the cache was sitting on top of the structure in plain sight. Maybe it had fallen and a passing muggle left it sitting there. Anyway I found it, signed the log book and replaced it where it shouldve been. Very nice camouflage. TFTC SL
Hello, this cache has been retrofitted with a better, stronger magnet and has now been replaced.
Horse trails competition here yoday, nochance to get this one without muggles!
Hello! Unsure of where the old magnet went, but it is now equipped with a new set. Will need a little adjustment soon but this cache is operational
Making the most of this beautiful day, I stopped to stretch the legs and find a few caches. Nice construction, but you will need a magnet to stop it from falling into the abyss ..
A trip along the Warby Hwy this morning allowed me to grab some caches along the way. Thanks blattm77
This area is where we started out geocaching journey some years ago. Good to find some new ones. Easy find. Fun.
A dry winters day calls for a caching trip out, peaceful few hours in the bush with Cracka1
Out for a big day on the trails, mid week, lucky me! I started with a warm up going around Wesburn Park which looked like a good spot to park up and get going. And wow i wasn't disappointed. These are some of the most imaginative caches i have come across in my limited geocaching career.
This one had me scratching my head a bit. I tried the spot a few times but wasn't focused on the right direction to get in, but figured it out in the end. So clever. There were a few creepy crawlies tucked in around the cache so be prepared if you are squeamish. Nothing harmful of course. TFTC.
