Picked up geocaching again after ages, and this was an easy one to ease back in with
I am in the area to see the Tears For Fears concert movie at the cinemas. What a great show...and I think I have found enough today to reach my 12 000th cache find! The hint and good coords made for a quick and easy find. TFTC
Great little cache and loved seeing everyones duck drawings. I drew a geocaching duck. TFTC
On way to be a research subject at the university. For my eyeballs to be monitored for 90 mins. Who can say no to that study if it also gives you some geocaching opportunities? Quick find. Thanks Jowe13 for giving this cache for everyone to unearth.
Came for an afternoon cache at this nice location. Quick easy and very creative! We traded a Malaysian coin for a cassowary. We also picked up a trackable.TFTCTilly rose and mum
Quick find while walking between the uni and over to the Macquarie Center which I havent visited since I was a kid. Some great ice skating memories were unlocked on todays adventures. Watched a local feeding the cockatoos for a while before going in for the find. TFTC
Found it together with my partner, Pomegranate at this nice University ground, very quite & lots of shades, only checking through the logs, can understand better where the cache might be, at first searched the wrong place, then managed to zooom the cache, a nice original cache.TFTC to Co.Dropped 2 TBs here as well for it to travel.
Came with Ramakristan looking for this cache hidden in Macquarie University, luckily all is still quiet & upon reaching GZ, a very nice place to sit & relax. We could not find the cache & checked out others log, we checked the wrong place. We knew the cache size & we looked further, checking the hint,we finally found it, it is also quite visible if eyes are sharp. Rama also left 2 TBs, one belong to him & another belong to a French geocacher.Greetings from Malaysia.TFTC to Co, a nice cache hidden well.
found it on 14/08/24! I tried to find it once at night but failed. So I gave it a second try during daytime. It was rainy, and there were piles of obstacles. When I almost wanted to give up, I saw a duck looking at me by the ceeek.!!!So I decided to explore the area a bit more, then within a short amount of time I found it! I love those cute ducks on the logbook!TFTC! and Thanks to the lucky duck I met there!
#12. Torch needed at night, adding it to the kit Watch for huntsmans along the wall; they can catch you off-guard!TFTC!
Awesome cache and in a wonderful little area swapped a sticker for a shoe keyring.TFTC!
Found while having a stroll through MU on a visit to Sydney son and granddaughter. An easy find after a short wait for muggle to depart. Tftc
I discovered I had picked up a tiny bush tick a day or so later, which may have come from here, so thought I would alert everyone.
A bonus cache after my medical appointment! There were ducks nearby too, in this pleasant landscaped oasis! Found the container on the ground but returned it to its obvious spot after signing. TFTC!
Thanks Jowe13, for taking us on this journey.Frequent trips to Sydney to see our grandchildren enable us to enjoy caching here.We flew this time, so made use of our opal card and our ast knowledge of the NSW public transport. Our first time on the metro, I thought I was in Singapore.A lovely walk from the library ( cache) to the garden, earth cache, then to this beautiful stream. Cache found stamped and replaced.
#7331-Even with getting off at the wrong bus stop, I made it to my medical appt location too early. This cache wasn't far away and was an easy find. The uni sure has changed since I went here in the 80's. Thanks
Got to meet my friend around here so I figure why not a little bit of detour.TFTC! Quack! Quack!
Took like 10 minutes to find.Wish i had something to swap with that sweet chips voucher but i didnt so i left it there.Since i am young and short i had to do some rock climbing to find it.On my way to maccas with no chips.
Finally found the cache on my third attempt: too many muggles previously.TFTC - great location!
Boxing day find! One of the most well stocked caches we've come across. Hubs reckons he's drawn a swan rather than a duck TFTC!
We were on a 3 weeks holiday in Australia to visit our duaghter, studying half a year on Macquarie University. Besides that it was very nice to meet our daughter again, it was also very, very nice to visit Australia, which is a country on the other side of the world for us (Netherlands). Of course, when so far from home it is always nice to find some caches. I'm not a fanatic searcher, but every now and then I like to find some caches, and this was one of them.Jowe13, bedankt voor deze cache!#1180 @ 15:19
Nice loot. Quite high up on the wall. Had to go through multiple aides to find the stairs but eventually located the geocache

Tftc, was a nice quick find after dropping off a friend for surgery at the hospital up the road
I made that harder than I should have. Second time here. First time I was muggled out of it. I had a quick look on that occasion but felt nervous with the muggle sitting at the table. This time I felt around in all the places to no avail. I looked at the logs and realised I needed to go beyond a certain spot that’s when I spotted the cache

After an exhilarating ice hockey game between the Sydney Bears and the Melbourne Ice, the night was still alive with excitement as we made our way through the sprawling campus of Macquarie University. The cool breeze whispered through the trees, casting a sense of tranquility upon the deserted pathways.
As we strolled beneath the glow of the moon and the soft glow of the streetlights, the echoes of the crowd's cheers still resonated in our ears. The game had been intense, with skillful maneuvers and thunderous cheers that echoed through the ice rink. Our hearts still raced with the memories of the intense match.
The campus was a different world at night, serene and enigmatic. The buildings stood tall and silent, their illuminated windows offering glimpses into the world of learning and discovery that took place within their walls. We walked hand in hand, feeling the connection between the shared experience of the game and the intellectual pursuit of knowledge that surrounded us. A quick find here once we read the hint, thanks for the cache Jowe13.

My first ever geocache. Had trouble finding it at first but it felt great once i did. TFTC!
Found It!
I arrived to find a couple sitting just above the cache eating a pizza. So I went and found some other caches then came back 30mins later. Once I had the place to myself I soon found the cache. Not a bad set of stairs to nowhere.

This one was close to another cache that was the main target for the afternoon. Did not find any ducks, but we did find the cache. Thanks Jowe13.
No ducks sighted but definitely heard rustling in the bushes that spooked me a little bit!
Had lunch down near the creek after not finding any seats. Checked the geoapp and discovered this one nearby. Found the seats that would have come in handy for lunch. Oh well! Saw a water dragon while collecting the cache!
In Sydney for a conference today, so decided on an early morning cache while hunting down breakfast. Like a sheep I followed the steps to know where, then the very prominent geotrail through the vegetation. Don’t be like me, it’s closer to the stairs than the sketchy gps would have you believe!! Thanks for a fun cache. Hopefully too early in the morning for your friend to spot me
Made some new friends and decided to adventure and find this cache together!!
cool first one for 2 of us )

TFTC! Tried finding it on my own and couldn't do it, so went with some friends and got it this time. Hard to find from my experience!
Found this cache with a couple of friends. Our ducks were…highly questionable to say the least
After the event, we decided to grab a few more caches. Being a quiet time for the uni we headed in and parked close. Took the hint and wondered what next. Some looking around before spoting the prize. Interesting graphic on the container for car buffs. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Fortunately no muggles around to interfere with access to GZ. Drew something vaguely resembling a duck. TFTC
Ahh, yes, the very first one in Australia! I was really prepared to fight a gigantic spider inside it, but thankfully I did not have to.
TFTC!

I had some spare time during a lunch break from the world conference on Communicating Astronomy with the Public. So I decided to go looking for the ducks. I didn't see ducks, but I did find the cache. I draw a Dutch Duck, since I am from the Netherlands. Thank you for maintaining this cache!
