Traveling with Tankengine and Youban for the long weekend. We are looking forward to meeting up with friends in Penrith this weekend for some caching and fun. Along the way up, we picked up a few caches to break up the drive and stretch our legs. So this cache: Quick park and grab. Tftc!!!
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks ws_cachers!
Got this one as we headed back to northern road after a wrong turn. Tankengine and Dty73 on our way to an event in Penrith. Kutgw
13:04hrs - i thought there used to be an archived cache here 2 metres from GZ? I could be mistaken. I was anticipating somwthing a little more difficult, but glanced in the obvious place & found it. No joke, i see why its a 2, traffic kept coming from 3 different directions (grabbing cache was tricky). TFTC.
Another quick find whilst supervising younger geoteen in their L-driving practice. Less than 30 hours left before Im freed once they get P1 plates. Aiming to get 777 before end of this month, TFTC
Fixated on the wrong spot last time must have been having a very off day . Tftc quick find today.
Out hunting with frazeydaze chasing caches in the Suburbs of Penrith LGA series. The caches that we found were found quickly while at the dnfs we spent way too much time. TFTC
Out caching with oldmorty finding Suburbs of Penrith LGA series caches.
Quick find.
Thanks to ws_cachers for placing these for us to find.

Luckily Kimbathelion and her sharp eyes spotted this one, as I was just about to give up. Tftc
This had us going around trying to good co-ordinates & then I spotted something in the trees which could have something magnetic & feeling around it did. Good hide. Fav point.
#3194 Fourth of eight cache finds on a day exploring Kingwood, Caddens, Orchard Hills and South Penrith. Found after a short search. TFTC
We were on a rare on-site visit to work so took the opportunity to pick up this one.
Good one, thanks ws_cachers.
Good one, thanks ws_cachers.
We are attending a birthday party up this way , given us an opportunity to grab some caches as well. TFTC
Watch your head with this one, found it but the paper is all wet tried to dry it out but might need a new bit of paper
In the run-up to my trip to Australia, I tried to solve this series. I needed help with some of the puzzles.
Today my tour took me back to Penrith to look for more caches of this series.
After a short search I found what I was looking for.
Many thanks for this great series
Best regards

The cache hunt continued around the western Suburbs of Penrith and this is one of the suburbs we found along with ilook4geo. There was no problem here and a quick find was made. Thanks for this cache placement go to ws_cachers.
Doing a bit more caching with goingplaces2 and found this cache. Log was signed and all was replaced as found. Job done! TFTC.
3rd stop for the day. I haven't been in this suburb before but funnily enough years ago I was friendly with a girl whose father was the minister of the Uniting Church down the road from here and used to live here.
It's nice and quiet around here.
I parked the geomobile in the side street and must have brushed against some plant with a lovely aniseed fragrance, very good on a hot day!
Although the container was what I expected the hide was different and the co-ordinates were good.

Another Suburb ticked - #4. Made a relatively quick find late at night once I had eliminated all other possibilities.
I think Orchard Hills are my favourite Penrith suburb.

9th of 11 for the night & like everyone else I reckon, searched the wrong item first. I stopped and read previous logs before disappearing from sight and signing the log before reappearing into GeoRyans view.
What a great way to rack up 2hrs of night learner driving, thanks ws_cachers

We have travelled from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Emu Plains for a short four day caching holiday, staying in a park cabin at the Ingenia Nepean River BIG4 Holiday Park at Emu Plains, and are planning to explore around Emu Plains and the areas between Castlereagh and Warragamba. Will be concentrating our efforts on collecting the Penrith geoart caches and the Warragamba geoart caches, most of which we have managed to solve before leaving home, and also hoping to complete a new local Adventure Lab that has appeared since our last visit to the area. May also collect some solved “Band Caches” puzzle caches, and “Suburbs of Penrith LGA” traditional caches, that we happen upon during our travels. This was our 17th find of the day (day 4), and 88th find of the holiday.
After collecting another PGA puzzle cache this LGA traditional cache was next on our list. A very familiar location with some interesting features, which we had visited previously for a now archived cache. We had DNFed that one, but as it turned out it was missing at the time we looked for it. No such issues today with this new cache placement, which was a nice quick find in the first place we looked. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC ws_cachers.

OK, so today I don't need any calendar finds... but I'm grabbing a slew of caches today anyway. Because I can!
And decided to head out to Penrith LGA to snag some more of the *PGA* series. Never a bad thing to up my WIG count!
Pity about the one DNF. Curses!
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Arrived in a familiar spot, where I'd previously made a find.
So is it where the last one was, or in the other logical spot?
Checked the easy spot first. Nope. So... there is the not ubiquitous cache container for this series.
Signed, replaced and hit the road to my next target.

We stayed in Penrith last night after attending our god-daughter's birthday bash, so that gave me the opportunity this morning to run around Penrith this morning collecting the next batch of its suburbs before we head back home to the Central Coast.
Another place I recall finding a cache previously. Lots of passing traffic at this time of morning made for a more difficult find than it might otherwise have been, but the job got done. Thanks for the hide and for the series ws_cachers.

Another tour of your LGA. I’m glad you got to explore yours like I did mine in the Blue Mountains.
As a health care worker, thanks to all those who helped get the numbers down by staying in their LGA except for leaving for essential reasons. It made a big difference to the hospitalisation rate.

Streak Day #3031 - Out with Dave8153 and needed a close one to home again, so a quick find to keep the streaks alive was well needed. TFTC

Searched one ferrous item, then found it elsewhere ion a more concealed ferrous item. Thanks.
I should have made the connection with the cache of the past...but didn't. as the youngsters say..."My bad." TFTC
#6033- I remember the old cache at this spot which helped us spot this one today. Found with thomo31 while out caching early this morning. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Looked at one structure then found it on another nearby. TFTC
I was looking for the same as the others, but did not spot anything. I may have been in the wrong spot, but a neighbour came to check on their horse, but I think it was me they were wondering about...
