DNF However we found what we think is the hide, empty though. Definitely a GC gone MIA perhaps muggled.

The cache is missing. Was riding around and stopped to check on this one because I saw what was hiding it laying everywhere. Checked and nothing is there. If needed I can go down this afternoon and replace is wanted.
Was nearby after a job so I came down to sign off on this one. No bee eaters but a nice vista to be seen of the river grasses and river in the distance.
Log is damp . After allowing a large family out for a sunny Sunday bike ride to pass it was a quick find and sign
Today we said goodbye to our Townsville geocaching Uber support Bill and Di Morgan, who have been kind enough to drive us around Townsville during the MEga and beyond. They are heading slowly south, while we wait to get the car fixed at Toyota. Today was out on the bike as our now only mode of transport and we decided that Annadale series of caches and those sprinkled around that area would be a good start, as long as the weather held out. A few passing showers but nothing to get us too wet.
Thanks CacheQLD for the caches.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 14. Townsville post Mega section Day 2. For my last day in Townsville, I joined TikvaNZ for another section of the Ross River power trail, with a bit of on and off again rain and a closed section we did pretty well. After that I set myself a list of puzzles and other non -trad caches to find for the day, which all took a lot longer than I expected, not to mention the ongoing rain all day. It has been a wonderful time in Townsville, and I have many more caches to get, so hopefully I will get to pass through again later in the year.
Thanks for the cache CacheQLD

Found by Mary and David at 15:50. Mary was visiting a long-time nursing friend nearby, so David set off for a walk to find a few RRPTs. This was the first one and pretty easy. Our thanks to CacheQLD.
With a goal of collecting 150 caches in a day, our plan was to tackle both geoarts, hit the RRPT and collect some other caches in between. An early start was in order to achieve this goal before getting ready for the Trivia night at the MEGA.
A huge thank you to all the COs for preparing and placing the caches we collected today, the variety of hide locations, types and containers was fantastic.

The day had come; the plan to get 150 caches (excluding labs) in a day for another challenge was here. The planning and prep started two months ago when I was at the Wangaratta mega. With the recent zoom events for puzzle solving a big help and the Geoarts of the saint and the book catering for two thirds of the task, it was just a matter of finding 50 more caches so as I was able to complete. Today I had Willis007 with me; we picked on a few quick easy finds as we were passing and motoring between arts. We then grabbed the bikes and went for a ride around along the Ross river parkway or is that power trail.
The Geoarts were found easy and thank you. The book art did slow us down a little with some hides a little tuff to find. the power trail was fun some good caches and some that also slowed us down. However, by the end of the day we were done and the challenge completed.
Thanks to my caching buddies, the CO’s for the caches and the great areas I got to see today.

Townsville Mega Event 2022. Friday. Our group of 3 ladies, signing our names as SSQ for this trip to Townsville for the mega, were collecting as many caches as we could before heading off to the official commencement ceremony. Beautiful area and well deserving of a power trail along here. Thankyou for placing caches here for us to find and enjoy.
This was the 8th of 21 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***CacheQLD*** for showing us this place

These birds would appear at a small area north of Swan Hill, Victoria, about end of September, burrow into the side of sandy cutting along railway lines and catch thousands of bees, while laying eggs and hatching their young, I have always loved the coloured plummage and the way they nested, it is good to know they are here too, but did not see any today, did see a well hidden cache, so put my sign on log, Thanks CacheQLD
On a previous visit to TNV this was where we came to see fireflies... a truely magical experience. The cool shadiness of the RRPT is a wonderful place to be on a hot Qld day. TFTC CacheQLD.
Quick find with this one today. Junior wanted to climb...but wasn't able to - oh well. Onto the next cache. TFTC.
This cache marked number 500 for me. After are few years break from caching I am back into it and loving it. As we neared the cache we spotted a rainbow eater snacking on a butterfly which was very fitting for the name of this cache. Found with PandaGirlAsh
24/12/2021 Up in Townsville staying near the Lakes. Attacking the RRPt today to increase my numbers. Thanks to all the cachers in the area who have placed caches fir my enjoyment. TFTC SL
I enjoyed placing these in preparation for the Easter 2022 Mega. Claiming the find now.
On the way home from dinner at 9:00pm we were surprised to see that there wasn't a log for this cache. Thanks to the hint we found the cache very easily. Thanks for another great cache on easy terrain that many of us oldies appreciate.
