Easy to found; this huge space with nothing except salt is strange! Thank you for the cache? The last for today
Visiting the Adelaide region for a week from Port Macquarie. Today we headed out to the Barossa, with the main points of interest being a winery (of course), the chocolate factory, and of course the famous Geostuff. Caching wise we mostly targeted ones we had pre-planned on a list but ended up with some extras we happened to be passing as well. We ended the day with a handful back in Adelaide, and an evening walk to grab a few close to our accommodation. Overall, it was yet another very enjoyable and productive day.Very interesting landscape around here, nothing even remotely like it back home. A quick find in the typical spot. Thanks for the cache
TFTC. Down in Adelaide for some medical appointments & calisthenics comp . What else to do with spare time?? Cache of course!
Went for a bike ride to check out the peculiar mounds in the water? R they gypsum? As I tasted some and it wasnt salt. Very interesting.
quick and easy find, thanks for the cache looking over a pretty incredible view!
Bei unserem Sdaustralienaufenthalt sind wir auch hier vorbeigekommen und haben unseren Namen ins Logbuch geschrieben. Danke frs Auslegen und Pflegen des Caches.
We are visiting Adelaide and Port Augusta for a quick holiday week. Today was the big travel day. We flew, found a few caches in Adelaide and a few on the way to Port Augusta. We thought this might have been the salt pans that we had heard about but sadly just neglected mangroves. Cache was quickly found and no 747 mozzies were present today.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Black Adders [^]
Nice easy find at the end of the line, all good here, thanks Edmund.Had a day off caching yesterday after a mini-streak of 15 days, at the end of the day when I head back to NZ next week there won't be regular forays, nor numbers like I've steadily been d=finding over the last fortnight. A couple of caching sets today, a couple out St Kilda, and some low-hanging fruit around my current hotel digs were calling to be found. Again, much appreciation to the SA cache hiders and placers for their efforts, and ongoing maintenance.
Found it Another quick drive by on the way homeaka the coloured mint tin by the sea peopleaka Minty ManTFTC Blackadders
Over to attend the Great Leap Forward Mega Event with tmann421.Have done a few km collecting caches and have enjoyed the tour aroundThanks to all the cache owners for their efforts in placing and maintaining these for us to findSigned log *tm/ww NZ*
*Nice find with woolwood9 today.* Thanks for putting this cache out for us to visit. SL *tm/ww NZ*Soon located.
A day checking on all of the Adders Hides after a few DNF's were logged. GCHQ up to the usual trait of sending messages after a few DNF's with the need to check on the hides. There were only two that needed to be fixed, the rest were either a replacement of the container and/or replacement of a log book plastic bag. The rest were exactly where and as they were placed.
Nice quick cache and dash to start the day. Thanks for the Traditional Cache SlackBladders
quick find. Heading to the nearby virtual.Found with Mogni. Out to goto Riverton to see the Mini Maker Graduation. Stayed the night in a cabin at Riverton but since i had to work all day there was very few caches found on the way up. I didn't even get to find one of the letterboxes i solved since it was behind the way i was travelling. The weather started off raining going to fog and then moving to scattered showers. The way back it was foggy till lunch then it was just scattered showers again.I was glad that this trip was in my 4x4 ute since the roads were very, very wet from the recent rains. One road had a sign on it saying " $200 if you need to be pulled out of a bog, cash " beside a homestead. A few more caches were found on the way back plus completing a lab cache, we were mainly target non highway caches.
Parked up right at GZ and slowly made my way along the ghost before claiming the find. Thanks Blackadders for placing Mangrove Views for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 12:04 on 25/9/2023.This is find number 7676 for me.
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
Stopping a few days at Highway1 Tourist Park as the GeoCruiser is in for some repairs. Today we ducked out to tackle a few surrounding caches including some puzzles solved when we first hit the road! Taken a while to get here.

After an early morning breakfast event in North Adelaide Doctor Owl and I continued on to find some mutually unfound caches out north. We came to St Kilda first on a cold windy day. Thankfully the rain stayed away along with the muggles. [^]
Knew where the cache would be as we drove up and Owl spotted the cache first.
Thanks for the cache Blackadders.

From GZ, better view of the salt pan than the mangroves, although they are but a short walk away. I think I got muggled out last time I was here. A quick find today. Thanks for the cache Slack Bladders.
Accurate coordinates and a very exposed cache led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. After signing the log, we replaced the cache with better protection from passersby. Thanks SlackBladders for the cache.
We have had a lovely walk round the playground. A few spots threatened, so we gave up the hunt, as we walked it stopped. So we walked back towards the earth cache then to this one. Grateful for the easy find. TFTC
Quick find on this chilly day..nice views. Decided we will find a different cache each time we come out this way. TFTC
Found while in the area grabbing the other caches. Liz had already found this one previously.
Took some photos, salt lakes look good in overcast weather.

After a morning hike along the NEXY with Mattycat we decided on a detour involving less hiking and settled upon the newish caches that have appeared around St Kilda, when the kids were younger we took a mangrove tour through here, not looking so healthy from the lookout anymore, cache was a quick find for us today

Geo day out with Jolly0, Marlee126 and sandelf, finding caches before going to lunch at Virginia nursery. Will come back someday to walk the mangrove trail. TFTC
Only S.A. Sewer Rats and Myself out for a Befuddled Wednesday Wander today so we didn't do too many puzzles until we had more of the crew aboard. However that still left plenty as we hit St. Kilda, Le Fevre Peninsular for the new Mint Tins, the Lunch Time Walk Series and any others we might be passing . As you do.
Very nice reflections on the pinkish water today. Just had to take a photo. Cache exactly where I expected it to be.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Blackadders for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Time for a Wednesday wander.
The Starfish picked up the Rat from the Rat den.
The caches around Saint Kilda were some of our targeted caches.
Stopped by to admire the pink lake.

It's good to see the mangroves looking well from what I could see. I've heard about the hyper saline leaks from the salt pans up the road - terrible. I know they have the experts in trying to figure out what's going on. I hope they can fix the problem soon. pics added
Thanks to Blackadders and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
After finding a new BFE cache early this morning I headed home to grab some lunch and head back out in the afternoon to find some newer caches in my old Salisbury stomping ground. Grabbed a few in salubrious downtown Wingfield before proceeding to St Kilda where all caches were in a great condition...and no mozzies were about. Thence onto Lake Windemere (where I spoke with the owner of the cache I had retrieved), Salisbury City Centre and the great suburb of Para Hills. All up 16 caches were collected and the only two DNFs were ones that I would have needed a pole for (which I am yet to purchase). The ladder was removed from the boot of the car on three occasions. Along the way I was kept company by the MMM commentary team outlining ball by ball how Australia was dismantling England. TFTC to all cache owners.
It was out in the open on the ground, put it back where I think it should be

Had to wait till some tourist had finished taking selfie’s. Quick easy find. TFTC
Honestly drove up the highway with a frog yesterday and commented we should come and do the two new ones here! A third was just enough of a temptation to get me looking for all of them and an afternoon trip to St K was in order...
a quick find of a cache that may turn to rust quickly in the atmosphere out here.
I do hope they manage to restore the mangroves from all the salt pan damage.
Luckily the mosquitoes weren't around. Maybe they're visiting Ross River [:o)]

Most Geocaches are located and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck!
---
Please do stay safe when caching.
Lookout for rocks, snakes, surprise cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only bugs you share and pass on
We really appreciate all those placing quality caches out and about especially away from the city crowds,
it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting

Out with the Schutzigans for a couple caches and a visit to the playground. Good spot. TFTC
Had to come to this one twice, as the 1st time there were muggles in their car right at GZ!
A quick find, and nice view of the salt...
Then we went for an ale...

Dead mangrove views. Lots of dead mangroves in this area.

After having a swim at Semaphore took the long way home to find six newish traditionals and this was one of them.
A quick find but was a little sad to see how much the area had deteriorated since my last visit for a cache. Is now barely a healthy mangrove within my sight.
Thanks to Blackadders for putting out this cache for me to find.
