On a road trip together with -moge-; across New Zealand; from Cape Reinga to Stewart Island; up, down, right, left ... So much to see, so much to experience. So many great, and sometimes old, caches! But I can hardly keep up with the logging. Far too exhausted from all the experiences. I am sorry that it will now be a standardized log for some founds.But hey, happy to met you at the event. My first name is Maja, I don't know if the story/comic about the Bee called Maja is common known here in NZ. But it is in Germany. so we had to visit this letterbox.

Hello TDronsfield,Another day, another Cache.Together with Dr Donna travelling through New Zealand. We arrived at Auckland Airport and made our way up north. After visiting Cape Reinga we went on our way South to reach Stewart Island with stops in many different Citys all over the country. Of course we have an open eye for nice Caches but take what we can get. Today we came across your Cache " Honey-Bee Inn TB HOTEL (Southland)" and signed the logbook with our names or took pictures for Virtuals or Earthcaches and answered all questions asked.Its great how many nice spots we are able to discover through our journey and how many of them we only See because of Geocaching! Caching around between Invercargill and Bluff today. Ventured around and finding caches. Log book signed. TFTC

What a wonderful cache. It shows some really great construction ability and superb artwork. I regreat that I can only find this cache once. TFTC.

Very cool letterbox. A lot of work has gone into it and it is appreciated by us. Dropped a couple of TBs that I picked up in Washington state at 46ish degrees North. It amuses me to drop them at 46ish degrees south. TFTC

bunadoorian and I are travelling around the South Island enroute to Dunedin and tonights destination is Invercargill. I had this cache on my wish list to find before we left Melbourne due to the number of favourite points and size container. We were doing well access the cache and not upsetting the dog on the premises - but unfortunately we upset the dog across the road which caused the lady a bit of effort to quieten it. The day has been a bit ordinary weather wise but this wonderful cache helped cheer us up. Sadly I annoyed the dog but it happened to be one from over the road that was returning home with its owner. All good. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC.

Down south from Whangarei for a 10 day trip including the Dunedin Mega. Visiting family here for a couple of days and just had to get out and about finding a few caches as well.This one was on the list to do due to it's combination of type and unusual size rating I needed for a challenge signed off in Brisbane recently. Certainly gets a FP from me for the creative cache. TFTC

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we are in Invercargill visiting family & friends the Grandchildren had been looking through the TBs that I had & decided that we should drop them off somewhere we needed to do a Letterbox Cache & I knew that this one would fit the bill nicely you couldnt actually get an easier find than this, log book completed & safely returned to its position were pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... T 3 x TBs:L 3 x TBs:LS this was #6,175 for us!

What a lovely cache this is! 10/10 for art style! as a wee budding artist and lover of Bees n gardens this one hit that spot deep in this artists soul! Attended an event within Invercargill and was fortunate enough to meet the LOVELY TD! She heard that i had been searching for some trackables to take back home to spread around and it was pointed out that The Bee Inn had stacks! I have taken 4 and traded some pretty nerdy swag to leave behind! But hey its an artistic cache and i had to choose the loveliest of artistic swag i had picked up in town Invercargill has treated me SUPER well for awesome caches and meeting some of the loveliest cachers you could ever hope to meet! I also grabbed one regular swaggy artsy stone! Thank you to whoever left that there it will be travelling back to Aus to add to my collection! TFTC! An all the good vibes!

After a lovely cool early morning walk to find x4 caches, of which I qualify for x2, we swung back in to town to grab this cache. Signed log, Left CSM - Correct Site Marker - and took Der Wolf trackable.Stamped my logbook, thanks for another Letterbox Hybrid.

In Invercargill for a few days for work, a great opportunity to extend my southernmost cache! Also useful to spot a letterbox cache on a Thursday, required for a challenge in Dunedin leading up to the Mega. No difficulty finding, although I'd not feel comfortable attempting this cache at night. A delightful box for the cache. FP from me. Picked up a TB. Tftc!

We have spent 24 hours in Invercargill before flying to Stewart Island this afternoon where we will be tramping. On our way back from Tiwai for some geocaching this morning, I decided to stop here and glad I did. Fabulous and very cute letterbox so a fp. Tftc

Vybrala jsem si Southern Scenic Road, kter je sice del a klikat, ale vede kolem pobe a vech monch zajmavost. Cel dopoledne bylo krsn, tak jsem v poklidu jela a zastavovala u keek a taky velijakch atrakc. Cesta je fakt moc pkn a myslm, e ped i tu slavnou australskou Great Ocean Road. Pobe je divok, vlny velk, vtr stl, obas njak osada i mal msteko a farmy a samozejm ovce. Krajina je neuviteln zvlnn, tak vlastn furt jede do kopce nebo z kopce. Odpoledne, bohuel, pily pehky a vechny vychzky jsem mla trochu vlhk. I tak jsem si to uila. la jsem na ostroh tesu ke krsnmu majku, taky detnm lesem k malmu vodopdu a nakonec probhla i krtk prochzka po pli ke zkamenlm stromm. Beautiful landscape and lots of attractions around. The morning was beautiful, then showers and strong winds came, but I still went on three shorter walks to the lighthouse, to the waterfall and on the beach to the petrified trees. On our way through New Zealand we reached Invercargill.After a while we went to the center where we looked for a geocach.And we were lucky, we had already seen this TB hotel in the Netherlands and found that two people who had traveled with us could rest here. For some, a new start and the other busy Bee, a turn around. With warm geocach greetings from the Netherlands

Detoured past on our way to the Totara Dune Forest. This was #3 of the four target caches for our trip. Wonderful!

Great cache thank you. I took 3 of the 5 TBs in residence and will move them along shortly. TFTC, definitely a favourite.
I took On the Way to Wonderland, Lady Elliot Island and Round 2 It; sorry, didn’t realise I need to log them in the book as well as the app, until I was well on my way.

Working nearby and a busy day. Need a Mailbox on a thursday so headed over to make the find. Obviously I do not know my lefts from rights as managed to get a little sidetracked but soon sent in the right direction. What an awesome cache, and well loaded with TBs. They all seemed happy to be there so added 3 more. After saying hello to all the other TBs had to race off to parents for dinner. Thanks for the fantastic mailbox and hosting one of the best TB hotels around.

When you visit Invercargill you will of course stay in the beautiful and friendly Honey-Bee Inn TB HOTEL (Southland). 5 of my fellow travelers want to stay here a little longer. 1 Traveler (my woodie) wants to stay here forever!

I am always nervous about entering private property when caching, especially if dogs are mentioned, but thanks to the honey bee, it was quite clear which property I should go in (StreetWalkerNZ stayed in the car as he looks even more dodgy than me ).
Lovely container, and left a couple of TBS, but didn't take any. Then once back at the car, realised that I had pilfered the pen so had to go back to return it. I suppose the neighbours are used strange comings and goings! TFTC.

T'was the night before, the night before Christmas, and this cache stirred..... Get some in..... always a bit doing going onto private property, but no dramas here. Very cool hide. Favourite point for the effort! Cheers!

This was a quick find and it is a seriously cool garden

What a cool cache! A quick visit this afternoon; we had been holding this cache back for a reserve or dot day and we needed some more points for the Signals Labyrinth challenge. We dropped off a TB and picked up a couple that were there as we are heading to the North Island in a few weeks. TFTC and an absolute fav point from us for this brilliant find.

Going to pop in later today and pick up some of the TB's to take on my travels.

I could not see the photo on the GPS that I can see now on the page, but it was clear that I have arrived to the right place. Lovely cache, TFTC!!

Another BZZZZY day in the HIVE, couldn't wait to FLY away from work today.
A small detour as the BEE flies on the way home, was expecting to collect some TB pollen, but a Wombat bet me to it today.
I still nabbed one though.
Today is the 2nd (and successful) dot day for the year... 22 more to go.
I have a quite a few in March to find and not many nearby, apart from some unsolved puzzles at Sandy Point, so may need some helpful assistance.

This is most probably the best TB hotel in the South Island. The others I've comer across have been a small container in bush tree or long grass.
First cache on the climb up Everest and you beauty it has 15 FPs now 16.

We are targeting the TWGTs for GraciesGPSfun; as well as the PWGT, CANZ, D/T and some oldie caches for us all, as well as driving many kilometres AND, just as important, seeing the sights of the South Island and having a lot of fun.

A little while before dinner, let's get this one.
No one appeared to be home at the big house, but plenty of residence in the hive for me to greet. Left a new friend for them to spend time with.

Had to come & find this really pretty TB hotel. My on personal bug came for a visit & a stamp. The neighbourhood was very quiet today. TFTTBH

Day #9 of my Summer Holiday through the Catlins to Invercargill and over to Te Anau for New Years then back to Invercargill. Time to head home with a few stops and target caches along the way and this was one of them. CO was expecting me from a couple of caches ago this is most definitely the best letterbox I've come across - so cool TFTC TDronsfield
