Funny, we had some lunch in this park a few days ago without even looking to see if there was a cache here. On our way out of Coromandel we decided to find a cache. Had a quick bite to eat for breakfast in the park again before finding this cache.Thank-you
Devil to unscrew! TfcOff now to Driving Creek Railway - hoping for some more of those fantastic views that we had driving along the windy SH25 from Whitianga
Stage 3 of our trip is a few days on the North Island of New Zealand. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find. Day 1 Quick find at the Airport when arrived before we headed down to Pirongia to say with friends. Day 2 I spotted a multi in Hamilton which took us on a tour of street art. So we headed into town for a stroll around. After lunch, a walk was in order so we stopped at Lake Ngaroto and walked and geocached around. Day 3 we drove up to Coromandel stopping along the way to see the sights and of course geocache!Day 4 Up early to head eastwards and a leisurely drive back down the coast. Nice statue history lesson and art work here.
A lovely spot and a great art work plus a nice easy fine on a fantastic day out. TFTH a favourite point from me.
Found it with Ramakristan, luckily lots of car park to park before we went searching for the cache. Cache was replaced by Ramakristan, he always carry a bag of caches in case of emergency.TFTC to Co, this place is awesome nice.
Found this cache opposite where we stayed a night before, after breakfast, we set straight away looking for this cache by the stream. Following the hint, cant go wrong. TFTC to Co, a good hideout.
On a day trip around the Coromandel and picking up a few caches. Great spot here, TFTC
Found this. Nice and easy but didn't sign as there were too many muggles around. Just a sneaky peek
Wow! What a cool ship. Cache was exposed so have re hidden where we found it but camouflaged the cache. TFTC
Found it after some messing about at various structures around. Nicely out of sight, camouflaged so the Muggles dont find it. Found with Entschuldigung9
While doing the Adventure lab around the town found that this was nearby 1 stop. TFTCGreetings from South Australia
We are back in New Zealand to have the holiday we should have had 4 years ago, Covid-19 put an abrupt end to that holiday. We are in Coramandel Town with family and friends for the weekend and a spot of fishing. We had a great time out on the water and we bagged 24 Snapper.Greetings from the UK.This was at an Ad Lab stage so it was nice and easy to get to. The hint item was only a few feet away and a quick search revealed the nicely hidden cache.Log signed and cache replaced as found. Thanks to No Fixed Aboder for placing.Find 1 of 2Total finds 3675

Wed not long been in Coromandel and after lunch decided wed go after this one before moving on again. As there were people on the nearby seat, I had to be a little stealthy in retrieving this one! I dont think they noticed me ferreting around at the base of the nearby tree! The main thing is that the cache was located and the logsheet signed! #7028. TFTC.
Visiting from Maryland USA. Weve had a wonderful time and loved the scenery. Thanks for the cache.

4-week family trip through NZ - Find #27!A quick find on a stroll after dinner.TFTC!
We are currently on a week long roadie around the peninsula with some friends. A couple of days ago I looked at the map that shows the road from Thames and Coromandel and thought to myself "that lools like a beautiful bike ride". This morning I abandoned the friends and family and jumped on the bike, full of adventure and enthusiasm. It wasn't very long up the first climb before that positivity began to falter and there was very little left by the time I rolled into Coromandel. Thankfully this little reserve was a convenient place to rest before the final 3kms to tonights campsite. Even better that there was a cheeky cache here. All in good condition here. TFTC
We decided to go into town which was almost 3km itself. In our way "down" we could do easily all waypoints for the labcache here easily. The last stop was here at "ship in a bottle" where we could spot the traditional Cache right away. A quick one and no muggles around. We are enjoying looking around New Zealand, full of wonderful places, landscapes and attractions. And so its always good to come across some caches when visiting new places.Thank you to all Cache owners for the caches and their maintenance and making this a wonderful around the world hobby.Thank you for this cache and greetings from Germanyaussi96
Yay! This cache hide was our 1,000th geocache find in New Zealand (excluding Ad-Labs). A super quick find just after completing the Coromanel Town Ad-Lab. T4tC No Fixed Aboder,Civvnr&MissTreadlightly....(UK) Geocaching.com finds so far 11442
Checked the area thoroughly for any wandering containers, and found nothing suspicious. The cache is MIA, but we do have a micro replacement that we had with us and re-hid in the area we thought was the original hiding spot.. If that is not OK with the CO, then please disregard. But there is a new container hidden in its place, and is good to go until the CO can make other arrangements. in NZ for our 50th anniversary. Hoping to get our 10,000 find over in this beautiful country. Thanks for the hide
While visiting this nice little town we stopped to look for this.Awesome.TFTC Greetings from Belgium
**Log about this cache:**Before we go zipplinging I found a cache!**General log:**After years of planning and the canceling of trip due to the corona crisis, the time had finally come:****"more than 5 weeks in New Zealand".**And how beautiful it was!Visited both the north and south islands, many tourist attractions have a cache nearby so I could do some as well.Lots of virtuals and earth caches too and traditionals. But also done a few multi caches here and there also even a mystery and wherigo cache. The trip to New Zealand was great and we saw a lot of nice places. The country has so many different types of landscapes. And the nice thing was that it is winter in the Netherlands but summer in New Zealand Too bad it takes so long to fly and that the flight is so expensive otherwise i can go here next year again. Now you can enjoy it, logging the caches is also part of it. I will try to email the answers for the earthcaches and virtual caches to the relevant co`s as soon as possible. But first log all caches and upload the photos .Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching
Thanks, we needed something to occupy the kids for a few minutes and this was just the ticket
On our long term trip from Germany to Western Australia / Tasmania / New Zealand for about 3,5 month, we arrived New Zealand and on our way across NZ, we pick up some caches. At the moment we are in Whitianga and today we made a little trip to Coromandel. This one was a quick found. TFTC
During my stay in Coromandel I visited this cache as well nice and easy find. TFTC
Cool cache..the area was a tad busy ..but wait for a safe quiet moment..signed and replaced as found thanks nofixedaboder
We've just settled into the NZMCA park and came for a wander. The ship in a bottle is pretty cool. A muggle was walking his dog around and around gz. Macwatt and junior distracted him while I quickly nabbed the cache. Thanks for the placement No Fixed Aboder
We are in Coromandel Town for three days. The cache is conveniently located from our cottage. Just walking over the bridge. We are staying in the grey house right on the other side of the gas station. View is perfect. One day sitting outside our hut, drinking one mug after another of coffee every resident will drop by at the gas station. What a parade.Thx to No Fixed Aboder for the film box outside the bottle.
Another Coromandel find out on our wee wander around town. The ship is awesome and wouldnt have found it without looking for the cache Tftc.
